Ok, so it's been enough episodes that I can say Doukyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue is good.
First half of the first episode is meh until you get to the second half that makes the whole thing way more interesting.
The format makes it fun.

Meanwhile, 6 episodes in Egao no Daika and I still have no what that thing is supposed to be.

Just finished reading Mushoku Tensei.

Anyone has any recommendations as far as LN goes?

My Time At Portia

Halloween event.
God damn that thing was hard. I fought my best against the whole town but came out with 4t position.
Was pretty damn fun to go around gun people (watergun of course).

You get some nice relationship boosts with the entire town at the end which is great.

It's been on my list for a while, @Annubis

Keep us updated

First major events:

Every inhabitant of the town give a gift and the gifts are thrown around randomly for people to grab.
Short, but fun and profitable.

Stardew Valley
There's a dance but none of the girls want to dance with me and it makes me recall back in primary school when they did those dance events and they wanted the kids to dance and how no girl ever wanted to dance with me and how soul crushing that was and how it messed me up inside for the rest of my life.

Yeah... point to Portia.

Starting playing My Time At Portia

If you liked Stardew Valley, there's pretty much no way you could dislike that game.
From the little I've played, I think it might even be better.
I'll see when I hit midgame/lategame but the early game feels better.

As for Shield Hero, let me know when you get to the part where a woman is beaten, has her name legally changed to Fuck Whore, and sold to Jabba the Hut as a sex slave, all for accusing the Shield Douche of raping her.

I'm pretty sure that won't be in the anime (either because they won't go all the way to that part of the story or because they aren't fucking stupid =/)
A lot of super toxic LN are better consumed as the manga or anime version simply because they remove the extreme ideas that the writers get.

Hell, the manga version of "Re:Monster" is hilarious because it's pretty much family friendly while the novel version is quite something.
Mad respect for the mangaka doing that one.

2) What? *Checks Wikia* Oh. Well, that killed my interest in Shield Hero in no time flat. Thanks. Goddamnit, that's like, the 5th webnovel that I've seen crosses that line, and SOA and Goblin Slayer both proved that there's no reason for the animators to sanitize those elements, so it's probably for the best that I just go back to ignoring Isekai stories of this ilk.

I mean, if you want to take a stance, that's fine and understandable but if it's just the event that's turning you off, like I said above, it's clearly going to be cleansed in the anime (should it even reach there and that will clearly need more than 1 season). Even the manga softened that whole part out because it's just... yeah.

Doug wins best asshole in anime by far.

Also, watch Double Decker! if you somehow didn't this entire season.
The Tiger and Bunny guys sure know how to make enjoyable characters. Same as T&B, everyone in the cast is fun in their own way.

to be continued ?
Oh please, do continue

Hmmm, I know very little about the next season. Anyone can offer some insight?
Is this a sign I'm getting old?

Also, that's A LOT of romantic comedies.

New animes:

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari
It's an isekai and it's a fairly good one at that. Definitively in the top tier of the genre.

Domestic na Kanojo
By the maker of GE – Good Ending. A girl comes to the protagonist out of the blue asking for sex. He sexes her up and then learns that their parents remarried together and she's now his sister. Then, it's a clusterfuck of: I love her, I don't know if she loves me and we're also family.

5-Toubun no Hanayome
Five identical twins are being tutored by the main character. The serie starts at the wedding of one of the girls and the protagonist.
It's a giant switcheroo of girls and you're following hoping to one day know which of the five got the guy.

3D Kanojo 2
Second season of 3D kanojo. A weird hot girls goes out with a lame nerd and he feels self-conscious about it.
I read the manga and at least it's got a decent ending... as in there's an ending (which is already more than 99% of rom-coms).

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen
The number 1 guy at school and the number 1 girl at school love each other but they can't confess because it would diminish their standing.
It's vapid and not really funny either.

This is like Akagi. There's no surprise because you know they'll win.
This is why everyone loves Kaiji better. It's more fun to follow a loser who sometimes wins than a winner that never loses.

Sword Art Online: Alicization
Fuck SAO.
We just had the obligatory rape scene last week and it was the worst yet.
I gave it a chance thinking that maybe this time the author won't use rape as a method of male empowerment for main characters... but nope.
Fuck this.

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
Best isekai around (since Overlord isn't playing =P).
It's all good stuff and the season will end before the story turns to complete shit (around volume 7 of the LN)

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Ougon no Kaze
Jojo is apparently awesome... I should get to reading/watching those one day.

Toaru Majutsu no Index III
Man, the rhythm of this serie is really bad. It's like they are vomiting plot quickly in order to get to where they want to end it.

Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch
Here it is, the long promised and awaited continuation of Code Geass.

Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] II. lost butterfly
2/3. I'll wait until everything is out and binge the hell out of it eventually.

Youjo Senki Movie
Loli nazi the movie. I'm thinking they might not have to hold back in the movie and shit will be... yikes.

PSYCHO-PASS Sinners of the System Case 1/2/3
Nice try. You are dead to me.

No OVA worth talking about.

what sort of food is usually making?

It varies a lot. Most of the times it's whatever she saw in cooking magazines (Ricardo and etc.).
Usually really healthy stuff to boot.

EDIT: actually, I'm about to head to work and there's probably a lunch waiting there for me. I'll update ;)

Have you ever read a manga where a character has a high school sweetheart that starts making lunch for him/her?
It sounds awesome doesn't it?

Well, it just dawned on me that I'm living it up high school romance manga style.

There's a girl at work who loves to cook and her husband is super picky.
I've known her for about 10 years now and for all those years we've been friendly but normal.

Lately, things changed drastically as she started bringing all the extra food she has from cooking to me so that I eat it for lunch.
She cooks too much since she likes doing that but she eats like a bird and her husband won't touch 95% of what she makes - hence the extras that need to disappear.
She's an incredibly good cook so the food is amazing.

So, I've become the other man and It's awesome (yes, I'm still talking about food only).
I never thought I'd be protagonist material anywhere in my life. I have the weirdest luck.

It just occurred to me that now that we're getting a Vesperia remake... I don't know which remake I'd want next.
Feels like everything will be current enough after Vesperia.

I think anything 2D is too old now to be remade.

Good lord.  Is 6 years the longest a thread has lain fallow before getting necro'd?

IIRC, nope. That said, you aren't going to even be able to necro a thread older than 2009 thanks to the archive purge.

I hear the forum was all about sex and booze back then.
