http://gematsu.com/2017/02/ni-no-kuni-ii-details-story-characters-evan-roland-tani-higgledies-game-features

"Roland: The 48 year-old president of a large country in Ichi no Kuni. As a young leader, his citizensí support rate is exceedingly high. In Ni no Kuni, he goes about as a 20 year-old young man."

No pointy ears? No mustache? Even Auron didn't bullshit his Anime Age this hard.

Also I'll put 10:1 odds in favor of the female party member secretly being a lost princess.
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

Am I seriously the only person who is getting major Dark Cloud 3 vibes from this game?  There should be mega hype here.

(Woot, I managed to bump this thread a day before the 1 year anniversary of Aeolus' last post)

I am definitely looking forward to this wonderful looking game.

Under no circumstances should Quentin Tarantino be allowed to befoul Star Trek.

I thought Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle fans might be drawing the comparison a bit more.

So, anyone in the US who is looking forward to this, Best Buy just listed the digital preorder in error, at $20.

Enjoy.  Not sure how long this error will be up, but it's an absurdly good deal.  Less than half of what you would pay even as an Amazon Prime member.

I think I'll wait for Gamestop's next Anime Sale for a physical copy instead. If they're willing to drop Tales of Berseria down to $20 bux for a new copy, then I can believe that they'll do the same for this.

That makes sense.  Even for a good deal, preordering is dumb unless you're really excited for a game.

The Best Buy website notes it as a Season Pass for DLC, I presume.

It was a listing error and they canceled my order, those jerks.  It was probably meant as a season pass, though, you're right.
