I've had for a while interest in learning Japanese seriously but I can't find the motivation yet.

Yep! I heard the news as I was leaving my house and decided to show my excitement by posting in the wrong thread. At first I felt that I should fix it, but now... not so much. I will let it stand as a testament to how excited I was. It is now an historical artifact.

Also the mobile spin-off could be cool even though I'd never bother to play it.

But seriously though, thank God it's finally here, and God Bless XSEED for finally getting it out. Though honestly, the full story on working on the translation out to be worth a read in it's own right by this point; Kotaku's even doing an article on it. But whatever, it's here.

Now I just need to figure out whether to play it on my PC or my PSTV...

the image used on the news page of this site for this game isnt actually from this game. its from legend of heroes trails of cold steel.

anyways would it be hard to jump into this game without having played the first one?
