Fairy Tail, Jojo, Psycho Mob Season 2, maybe Index III...unless something comes from left field, I'm not seeing anything particularly interesting coming up that's new. Then again, winter season usually has the most surprises, so we'll see.

Hmmm, I know very little about the next season. Anyone can offer some insight?
Is this a sign I'm getting old?

Also, that's A LOT of romantic comedies.

New animes:

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari
It's an isekai and it's a fairly good one at that. Definitively in the top tier of the genre.

Domestic na Kanojo
By the maker of GE – Good Ending. A girl comes to the protagonist out of the blue asking for sex. He sexes her up and then learns that their parents remarried together and she's now his sister. Then, it's a clusterfuck of: I love her, I don't know if she loves me and we're also family.

5-Toubun no Hanayome
Five identical twins are being tutored by the main character. The serie starts at the wedding of one of the girls and the protagonist.
It's a giant switcheroo of girls and you're following hoping to one day know which of the five got the guy.

3D Kanojo 2
Second season of 3D kanojo. A weird hot girls goes out with a lame nerd and he feels self-conscious about it.
I read the manga and at least it's got a decent ending... as in there's an ending (which is already more than 99% of rom-coms).

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen
The number 1 guy at school and the number 1 girl at school love each other but they can't confess because it would diminish their standing.
It's vapid and not really funny either.

Kakegurui××
This is like Akagi. There's no surprise because you know they'll win.
This is why everyone loves Kaiji better. It's more fun to follow a loser who sometimes wins than a winner that never loses.

Continuations:

Sword Art Online: Alicization
Fuck SAO.
We just had the obligatory rape scene last week and it was the worst yet.
I gave it a chance thinking that maybe this time the author won't use rape as a method of male empowerment for main characters... but nope.
Fuck this.

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
Best isekai around (since Overlord isn't playing =P).
It's all good stuff and the season will end before the story turns to complete shit (around volume 7 of the LN)

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Ougon no Kaze
Jojo is apparently awesome... I should get to reading/watching those one day.

Toaru Majutsu no Index III
Man, the rhythm of this serie is really bad. It's like they are vomiting plot quickly in order to get to where they want to end it.

Movies:

Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch
Here it is, the long promised and awaited continuation of Code Geass.

Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] II. lost butterfly
2/3. I'll wait until everything is out and binge the hell out of it eventually.

Youjo Senki Movie
Loli nazi the movie. I'm thinking they might not have to hold back in the movie and shit will be... yikes.

PSYCHO-PASS Sinners of the System Case 1/2/3
Nice try. You are dead to me.

No OVA worth talking about.

Since today is about Wind Waker I thought I'd leave a comment. Like a lot of people I initially shied away from it due to bad press at the time it received for the art style. By the time I got around to playing the game it quickly won me over and now it stands as my favourite entry and Gamecube title. The shift from land to sea was one departure I really loved whether its finding a new island or retrieving sunken treasure.

One cool tidbit I'd like to mention is that this game was showcased as part of an exhibit for the Vancouver Art Gallery I visited many years ago. The exhibit covered art in videogames, animation, comics, anime and manga; basically pop culture. I thought it was neat that the general public was being exposed to this game.

You should force yourself to retire consoles more often

1) Doom and Destiny -  stop #1 on my "Xbox360 Retirement Tour" was stupid and rote and most of the jokes were offensive.  Oh well. On to the next one.
2) Shank - Another XBLA game I blew right through.  I'm trying to retire my 360 so that means slogging through shitty, overly violent platformers like this one before I finally play Dark Souls.
3) Guardian Heroes - XBLA
4) Half Life 2 - XBLA
5) Breath of Death VII - XBLA
6) Cthulhu Saves the World - XBLA
7) Sequence - XBLA
8) Panzer Dragoon Orta - Xbox
9) Castlevania Chronicles - Vita
10) Tales of Vesperia - 360 - 57 hours. Great game, 2nd best tales after Eternia. But the real story is that I finally get to chuck my old and busted Xbox 360.
11) Gravity Rush - a competent game in a fascinating setting.  Wasn't everything it could have been but definitely gets high marks for taking some chances.
12) Skies of Arcadia - 59 hours.  I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game.  Though I don't really have anything to say about it that hasn't been said ad nauseum before (great setting, fantastic cast, loads to discover, but way too many goddamn random battles, even with the white map. when all you want to do is explore...)
13) Torchlight II - 27 hours.  Outside of my gripes with the controls, this was a tremendously fun and challenging (on veteran) game.  I very much prefer Torchlight's visuals and ambiance to other hack n slashes like Diablo.

Holy Crap.  13 games in a year is blisteringly fast for me.

Just thought I'd share a band spanking new video project RPGFan started this December. It's piloted by Greg, and features a bunch of staffers lending their voices! :)
Check out the videos, and if you're feeling groovy (people still say that, right?), leave a like and/or comment :)

Spam?  But where's the sketchy link?

They're in the profile, just under the post count.

Its Social Media Spam, or SMSpam for short.

Goddamn page snipe.
