So been pretty actively going at stormblood, war 65 almost 66. I like the new gauge system they're using for dps and tank stances, as it lets me really spike damage output on tank when I need it, or allows me more manageability with using cooldowns for defensive purposes. That being said, the removal of some abilities as main marauder skills is kind of depressing, leaves me readjusting from my old skill layout, which sucks. But overall, new xiv stuff is always nice. Quite happy I made it back in time for the expansion.

Neat fact with a bit of backstory on why Cyan's Theme plays and tiny tiny spoilers for where you currently are in the story(your next quest or two tells you this info).
Spoiler: show
The obvious reason is that it is Doma, the more hidden reason that most American players won't pick up on is that Hien is the son of Cyan.  Kaien is Hien's late father and the original Japanese name of Cyan.  To really cement this home Gotetsu calls Hien Shun which was the Japanese name for Cyan's son in FF6. Who knows we may see Cyan in some kind of flashback in the future because of this.

I knew about Doma (I mean it's obvious, they've been saying it since 2.0's last updates), but the rest....I mean it all makes perfect sense, but I think it's more easter egg than actual basis....
Spoiler: show
Cyan's wife and kid are pretty dead, and he even watched them leave for the afterlife
Still that's an impressively awesome thing to know, and thank you for sharing it.

Also,
Spoiler: show
I already watched Gosetsu die as I liberated Doma....my heart sank. Gosetsu was my favorite SB character.

Finished Stormblood's main story. Best storyline in an mmo I've ever gone through, right alongside heavensward. Very worth restarting my account for.
