Vesperia's 10th year is in 2018 btw... just saying ya know...

I'm betting a reasonable 90% likelihood they do something for it too.  I'd be super surprised if they don't port it to Steam at the very minimum.

On the one hand, I want this game since I never beat the original.  On the other hand, I don't know if it will be worth the expense.  If the price is right, I'll pick it up.

You get it because it has an AWESOME battle system and the cool item creation system comes back (and fortunately it's less intense than it was in SO3).
...that's about it; I mean I guess it's pretty funny (unintentionally).

I love that the game sorta has space travel... it should pushed the envelop with it further... Que sera sera.

It's a solid title if you're able to let go of what sucks about it.

...My review is all over the place.  Butt yeah, play it.  If it's a good price.

I feel thematically, Blade Runner 2049 is much more strongly about the relationship you see with K and Joi --- or just generally the ideas about love.  I thought it was an incredible and incredibly successful film in most regards and I'd love to double dip on it.

I liked Grim Grimoire enough so I wonder if they're doing something similar with this???
Looks sorta tower-defence-y....

tee-hee they naked

I'm enjoying Star Trek.  I think it's important to give to shows some time to 'warm up'.

Don't forget for how great TNG was, this piece of shit episode was 4th in line:

Also, BoJack Horseman had another **phenomenal** season, a must-see if you haven't.

I enjoyed KH1 back when it was new. Pretty solid game for the time. The only thing I didn't like was the camera. Terrible.

The only thing?
I literally don't want to replay the game because of one reason, in two parts:  Using magic [during the Ursula fight].

I really wish they retroactively changed the game to the 'roulette' bit that KH BBS and on used.

Where are you finding listings for the CE? I've looked everywhere but online and maybe BestBuy but I've found nothing so far.

Mine is in with  They let Canada do international ordering...  Still waiting on Canadian retailers.
(Then I ask the moral question: Do I keep both and become what I hate and scalp one, or give up the other and not pay lousy shipping fees).

giraffe girl

I.... I want a new thing, now.

Here ya go!!

Why does "Sands of Destruction" just sound like the subtitle?  Is that really just the entire title of a game?

I'll give you a hint; it was developed by Imageepoch, makers of such games like Luminous Arc, Arc Rise Fantasia, Time and Eternity, Sol Trigger, Stella Glow and Criminal Girls.

Also, every time I look back upon the PSP's library, I cringe at the sheer amount of dreck that proliferated the anime and videogaming scenes back then.

I dunno for every bad anime game with a very harem cast and obligatory cat-girl (or wearing cat headband/headphones) you'd find one WRPG with a completely sexless looking art direction and bland-ass knight protagonist in the middle of Not-Middle-Earth.

this looks like a few steps backwards from both those titles.

Xenoblade fans shouted this ad nauseum about Xenoblade X, which ended up being one of the best RPGs I've ever played.  For now, I'll assume they know what they're doing with this one, too, despite the looks.

I'm a pretty big fan of both myself, I can appreciate their differences easily and respect the separate worlds they manage to create.  I like XBC's focus more on fantasy and linearity and XBX's larger emphasis on sci-fi.  I'm honestly torn when it comes to picking a favorite, but I feel they're different enough to just say "I love em both" at the end of the day.  And dammit, Mira was a blast to explore.

XB2 looks pretty all right, but I agree the cast doesn't look as fun and from what little I've seen from trailers (I'm trying to stay on a media blackout as long as I can) just doesn't seem as intriguing and hits a lot of tropes that have been done before.  I will admit between the Controller and CE I'm amazed how fast I was still willing to throw down their asking price... for shame, Dicey, for shame.

...Man I'm so sick of cat girls... it's so unoriginal.  I want a dog girl barking at people she doesn't like... or a giraffe girl because that's funny to me.

I think I'd like the game to have it even more since the MIDI OST is....surprisingly off-putting.  I really don't want this beautiful game to JUST be bleeps and bloops now.

Though I guess that if he does start a war, something like Canada would be the best opponent. It's easier to finally put all those M1 Abrams tanks to use if you don't have to ship them god knows where.

The only "War with Canada" I would support is the eradication of Canada Geese.

On the frontlines for that one....and they're winning.  Those are some mean-ass birds.

We're so close to its 10th anniversary, and I've said for years something's gonna happen with Vespy to celebrate it... so I'm looking forward to cashing in...or eating crowe.

God damn. That nose is just outlandishly small. Also, something something, phrasing, something, giggity, something, me totally not trying to empty quote the above, something....

Man she was kinda boring. Pass eating Velvet Crowe.  Even real crow, they're smart birds, wouldn't wanna eat them.

Agent Orange has announced a reinstatement of the ban on transgender persons in the military. Apparently, because there are too many perceived liabilities for bigoted idiots to wrap their heads around.

I'll admit I'm not entirely comfortable with transgender folks myself, but I recognize that simply as a personal hang up. If they want to serve and protect the country, they should be able to.

Over Twitter too!  How professional of him.

This is stupid. Why would you try to reduce the number of people who want to fight for their country?
