Etrian Odyssey
Got the urge to restart the original. Decided to shake things up a bit by using a combat medic, A survivalist that only focuses on gathering skills and an alchemist. Doubt I will play it to completion but hopefully I will beat the second stratum. Having fun so far although I am only on the third floor.

Kingdom Hearts 2
I keep trying to get into it but the beginning is just so slow and seems to take forever. I did enjoy it on my very first playthrough but knowing everything that is going to happen just makes it drag on. I really liked the ps2 version so I know if I can just power through Twilight Town I will probably be able to stick with it to the end.

Atelier Meruru Plus
Started this after reading the posts Klutz made . I have beaten the ps3 version so I kind of know what to expect. They seem to have risen development costs for kingdom upgrades but so far things are going well. Just go the 30,000 population requirement and am setting things up to be able to access the last boss and get the normal ending. Modis ruins gave me a bit of trouble but I managed to get through it after upgrading my items a bit.

Mass Effect 2
Just three more characters to recruit. One is greyed out so I will probably not be getting them before the next story mission. Going to try to do everything available before continuing the story. It doesn't feel like the last mission is next but a lot of the characters are nervous and warning me to recruit/upgrade.

Pokemon Yellow
Beat the Elite 4. I was pretty under leveled with most pokemon being high 30s but Gyarados with Surf/Fire Blast/Thunderbolt tore through everyone not named Lance.  The game was pretty easy for the most part. Movement speed is horrible, like really, really bad. I did enjoy the puzzles though. Blue is probably my favourite rival. The guy is a complete douch. Nice change from later rivals/BFF.

Atelier Firis
Game crashed on me after a good chunk of gameplay. My only save was an hour or so in. I think I will just restart from the beginning. Going to save every time I visit the atelier from now on. I was enjoying it a lot but the loss of playtime really soured my opinion.

Hotline Miami 2
I have lost whatever skills I had gained from beating the first one. Just as fun as I remember. Never would have gotten it if the first had not released on Playstation Plus.

Mass Effect 2
Really liking it. Loyalty and recruitment missions are great but it feels like the quality of the main story took a hit with so much focus being put on them. I kind of regret playing it so soon after the first game. There are a lot of call backs to the first game that didn't hit me as hard as they probably would have. On the bright side, I think I catch most of the references. Miranda and Joker's faces seem a bit off but everyone else looks great. I also love how much banter there is between Sheppard and the crew.

Pokemon Yellow
Just got the second badge. I have been rushing through it a bit which has made me under leveled. Butterfree and Oddish saved the day for me though. I don't think I will use the three starters this time around.

The game was still really fun but it wasn't as great as I remembered. I think it was partly due to knowing what was going to happen and partly the sequel clouding my memories.

Medievil Resurrection

The gameplay is clunkier than I remember but it is still really fun. There seems to be a lot of minor differences from the PS1 version. Bosses are pretty different from one another. I can't really comment on the puzzle difficulty as I still remember most of the solutions.

Mass Effect

The story missions are great but the combat areas for the side missions are pretty awful. The characters are great. The aliens act too much like humans but it kind of makes sense. It would be too difficult to make them relatable if they acted too alien. Kaidan > Ashley

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Clearing out the last few High Rank port quests I have. Things are going to get a lot harder from here on out.

I have been binging Red Dwarf lately. Currently up to season seven. Really enjoying it. Season 1 and 2 are probably my favorite although Cat is way better in the later seasons.

Dark Souls 3

Just beat the last boss. The game was fun. Most of the bosses were great. I wasn't a huge fan of the Curse-Rotted Greatwood or the giant skeleton with the bracelets though. The NPC quests were great. I really liked Siegward.

1. Items Kingdom Shop

It was alright. It was worth the money but it didn't scratch that Recettear itch that I had.

2. Fallout: New Vegas

I had a lot of fun with it. There are a lot of aspects like the speech system in it that I preferred over Fallout 4. That said, I wasn't fond of how they just blocked off where ever they didn't want you to go with difficult monsters. They really wanted you to follow their path to the Strip. Even fully patched, the game was still buggy. I had to reload every few hours.

3. Diablo 3

It was alright. I wasn't too gone on the story but it is not like the previous games were any better. I did like talking to the Scoundrel and Templar in between quests. Legendary items seemed pretty common too. I may go back eventually to try the harder difficulties and other things but right now, I am burned out.

Dragon Quest Swords

Chapter 6 was pretty terrible. The whole level just consisted of enemies flying towards you. No real strategy needed to take any of them down. The boss was pretty easy too. Hopefully the last two chapters are better.

Trails of Cold Steel

Just got to Chapter 2. Game is fun and I am interested in a lot of the random npcs. The main character seems the least interesting out of the main cast so far but it is early days yet.

Diablo 3

Halfway through Act 2. My Demon Hunter is not the most exciting character but he gets results so far. The voice acting can be hit or miss, especially when it comes to the more minor npcs.

I am a bit put off by the online fees. I don't know if it can stand up to Playstation Plus or Xbox Gold.

Sorry, wrong topic and accidental double post.

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon

5/20 Memories unlocked. Hearing the music from the older FF games is really nice. Just about to face what is probably the first proper boss.

Dragon Quest: Swords

Just beat chapter 5. The difficulty has ramped up a lot. The battles have really gotten faster paced now that enemies attack more quickly after one another. It is still fair but I don't have the trigger reflexes that I did as a kid.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

What is this? Just beat the prologue and I am loving the battle system. Still too early to have a proper opinion on the story or characters. I like that the controller acts as a mobile phone.

Dragon Quest Swords

Slashing things with a sword is fun. The gimmick will probably get old fast but for now, only playing one chapter a day seems to help. I really like how most monsters feel very different from each other, at least up to chapter 3 anyway. Story isn't great but it is not like I am playing the game for it anyway. I had to retreat for the first time in chapter 3 today after I made a few consecutive mistakes. A second attempt cleared it though.

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon

I like it. It is early days yet so I can't really give a proper opinion on the gameplay. Just unlocked jobs but have yet to really try them out. The special dungeon I am trying now limits everything in the dungeon to 1 HP. I have had a few unlucky deaths so far but hopefully it shouldn't take much longer.

Moogle is adorable.
