General Discussions / I need recommendations for Android RPG's.
« on: December 29, 2015, 02:58:32 PM »
I just got a Kindle Fire and need some recommendations for a good RPG, preferably dungeon crawler but it doesn't have to be. I've been looking around but haven't found what I'm looking for. I HATE on screen controls and my hands are kinda not good for those controls anyway, so I need a good RPG that you can just use the stylus. Thanks!

Multiplayer RPGs / Neverwinter for the consoles.

Anyone been playing this? I see there's a less than one page thread about the game already but the system suggested I start a new topic since it's really old. Anyway, I got it for the X Box One. A friend and I have been playing it every few days and are really liking it. Pretty deep and lengthy for a totally free game. At no point yet have we come to a point where we felt we needed to buy items with really money, and we're at level 33.

Multiplayer RPGs / Magicka 2 on PS4.

Just picked this up for the PS4. Love the way it plays, but man… even though it says it's for 1-4 players… going at it solo is just too hard for me. I have a friend that I game with online all the time, but he doesn't seem too keen on getting it. Wish there was a slightly easier mode so i could enjoy it. I love the spell system, even though it can become infusing. My favorite part os how light hearted it is. Love the colorful art style and especially the Monty Python/Discworld-like humor.

Just preordered the deluxe digital version from the Playstation store for the PS4. Can't wait. There needs to be more RPG's for next gen where you can play the whole campaign co-op online with a friend though.

A friend and I got this for the X Box One. And even though it's the same thing over and over and over, we can't get enough. Don't know what it is about it, just the way you level up or something. The fact that tons of loot doesn't drop and Legendary and Exotic engrams are few and far between… when you finally find one or get one it's a good feeling. They do need to do a few things like stop giving you so many useless ship schematics, give you the ability to skip cutscenes and give you NO MORE quests or story lines where you have to protect Peter Dinklage while he works on something. Lastly, once you reach like level 20, when you pick up a green engram it should just automatically convert that into glimmer so we don't have to constantly dismantle useless weapons and armor.

I knew it! In one of these other threads I said MS would go back on some of that. A few said I was wrong, MS doesn't do those things. They went back on quite a lot of stuff I see.

I like Geoff Keighley, who is doing the hosting for GameTrailers for E3. he is a total dick. He pushes people for answers and calls it like it is. He's interviewing Reggie from Nintendo and he asked "Now, after the One and PS4 is out there, are you afraid for the WiiU. I mean, it looks last gen in comparison...". lol He's been doing things like that all E3.

I like the lame pre-order bonuses. They remind me of the SImpson's episode where they talked about collecting Malibu Stacy dolls and the ad for the new doll said "Maliubu Stacy - Now with new hat!!!". lol

Jack Tretton, talking to Geoff Keighley just now, admitted the DRM free games only applies to games made by Sony. They ll allow 3rd party publishers to have DRM/online passes for their games.

All of the Sony fanboys that proudly proclaimed "I love PS3 because I can play online for free!" all of the sudden don't mind at all that they have to pay. I still liked what One had to show more. But in the end all this "This one is better" crap won't mean anything. It'll be like last time and they'll sell about the same.

I can't believe how Sony's fans NAILED Micrisift a few weeks ago for talking streaming movies and not games, then they start off their conference talking streaming movies and music. lol

MS was lambasted for spending their whole conference on it.  Sony didn't even spend 10 minutes talking about it...

I know. I saw it. Still seems like an odd choice to START the conference after all the flap against MS for doing it. Shoulda stuck it in there in the middle somewhere. Maybe when Assassin's Creed crashed. lol

Geoff Keighley just said some talk going around about Sony charging for PSN like MS does for XB Live. I love rumors. lol

I know one thing, I'm hoping the price for the top tier PS3 isn't 599 like people have said they heard there at E3 today. If they're smart they'll sell it 50 bucks below what they're asking for One.

Oh, okay... shoot me! Friggin' geeks. lol All I know is what I'm seeing from games SO FAR is the X box One games look better. By far. I know jaggies have to do with anti-aliasing or whatever it's called, but the PS3 games look jaggy as hell.

Better than what? Almost nothing shown was Xbox One exclusive. It's all either PS4 or PC as well. And Sony hasn't even started their presentation.

You're comparing apples to... invisible apples? No shit the apples look better. You can see them.

Did you see the reveal in February for PS4? MANY journalists in attendance said the games lacked visual flair. Adam Sessler recommended heavily on it. The Killzone footage I saw didn't wow me, neither did the other PS4 footage I've seen so far. Most recently today when they showed the new Castlevania running on PS4. Looked nothing next-gen like. I hope I'm wrong, because I plan on getting both.

You know, you could wait two and a half hours and then complain about the PS4's graphical fidelity not being bloody edged enough.

2 1/2 hours? Starts in like 10 minutes. Also, I'm just going from what I've seen thus far. Stated that. Numerous. times.
