Next  season seems really meh to me.  I got a feeling a lot of people that are into Overlord are not gonna dig season 2 that much, at least for the 1st half of the season.

I am kinda interested in how Fate Extra turns out.

Will avoid Death March like it carries the plague.

Somehow, I actually find Spawn far less interesting than Heihachi, but having a guest fighter from your own other fighting game was inexcusable.

Them there are fighting words :P  Spawn's cape alone is more interesting then borachi

Well... as a guest fighter in SC, maybe.  But as a character from a piece of fiction, Heihachi is at least pretty different and unique for his medium (but, of course, still cheesy as heck).  While Spawn is essentially an anthropomorphization of cringey 90s teenage edgelord neckbeard comic book nonsense.

Ok, maybe those are fighting woords.

The original premise of Spawn was good.  The series derailed once  McFarlane couldn't figure out what he wanted to do with the character and then it became a train wreck.

^ Back when that game was new, I had this buddy who kept talking about how much better his Xbox was than my 'Cube. SC2 was one area where he got pretty damn jealous. Although, we agreed that Spawn was still a better deal than Heihachi's boring ass (in comparison).
lol, shows you how boring it is to put Heihachi into Soul Calibur. I totally forgot his boring ass was an exclusive character.

Wasn't the one with Link *still* the best-selling entry to this day?
probably,  I mean it is Link.

On another note the guest characters are really turning it up with TMNT for Injustice 2 and Noctis for Tekken 7. I wonder if this will actually get more general gamers into fighting games.
I doubt it . Didn't really happen with SoulCalibur which had Link, Darth Vader, Spawn,  and Enzo from Assassin's Creed at different points within the series.

edit also Killer Instinct with battle toads and gears of war characters.

Its a very situational bundle
Starbound
Darkest Dungeon
Stardew  Valley

 or to a lesser extent
Minecraft: Story Mode
Her Story
She Remembered Caterpillars
 Pony Island
Duck Game
Move or Die

The value exponentially drops  the more of these games you have, especially the top three. The rest of the bundle mostly consists of games that while not  exactly bad have been bundled as low as the 1st tier in previous Humbles, so chances are you already have them  or it is just not worth it.

Only worth it if you don't own games like Darkest Dungeon or Stardew Valley

The highlight of the bundle is Out of the Park Baseball 18  in the 1st tier.

Humble Jumbo 10  started about an hour ago.
Tier 1 is definitely worth it for Grey Goo alone.
edit: Apparently wasteland 2 is pretty highly regarded, have not personally played it so I am not comment on it. If that interests you the 3rd tier would be a great purchase, especially if you are a humble monthly subscriber as you get $2.00 back in store credits.

So anyone besides me still watching Dies Irae?

I am still watching it for fanservice.  It has gotten better since episode 00 (which is not saying much), but it should not come to a surprise  that the few people that were watching it on this forum dropped it.

Ended up buying a bunch of crap. The only thing of real note was the Guilty Gear Xrd - Revelator (+DLC Characters) + REV 2 All-in-One pack.

Double post but I just wanted to say that both Steam and GOG are having a Halloween sale right now.

For the most part I am feeling really underwhelmed with this  Steam Halloween sale. A lot of the titles I really want to buy are either not on sale, or not close to their  lowest price point. That said I will probably buy a lot of stuff ...because I cant help myself.

Single-Player RPGs / Re: Trails of Cold Steel III

Unless it is a joke, I've heard there is a huge cliffhanger at the end of CS III. I haven't delved into this because I don't want to risk being spoiled, but it came up on the Falcom subreddit so I'm unsure what to think. It is said to be even a worse cliffhanger than the end of CS I. ;(

Damn it, Falcom! I thought this was supposed to be the end !!!

edit: I love me some Cold Steel but there becomes a point a continual series gets too long for its own good. It is good for the fans, but very alienating for getting new people into the series.

would this game be hard to get into if i havent played previous games
They are direct sequels, so yes.

If you have a desire to play THIS, though, there is literally zero reason not to play Cold Steel 1.
Guess  I didn't explain that well. Each game builds off each other with  Cold Steel  cliff-hangering into II and III finally ending the Cold Steel series.  Starting with III would be like starting at the climax of a book.
