Single-Player RPGs / Re: Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom announced!

Lolololololol

So much salt.

I think the game is v good and totally would recommend it to anyone looking for whimsical jrpg adventure. Also, the game is only easy for the first half or so. Itís gotta a little challenging especially in the dreamers doors and tainted monsters. Definitely more than 5 enemy types. 😂😂

How far did you even get? I donít know how you could hate a game that has absolutely amazing airship music.

Also, they went and made Ursula's A-Rank Affinity unobtainable (even more so than it already was at least).

That was a slog. What did they end up doing to it?

I found a decent way to farm Gold Chips as well as get legendary and rare core crystals at the same time.

The sidequest Titan Scholar (I think that is what it is called) is required to open up this area, which that quest appears in the earlier chapters.

There is a rare monster called Vampire Bride Marion which is found in the Dragon's Stomach in the Head of the Kingdom of Uraya. If you are able to do a full driver combo (Break-Topple-Launch-Smash) there is a chance of it dropping gold chips, legendary cores, and rare cores. The monster is level 65 and I was taking it on at slightly under that with very little trouble. I was getting 3-4 gold chips, 5+ rare cores, and 1-3 legendary cores per battle which only takes maybe 3-4 minutes if you can driver combo it over and over. Also, just staying at a Stage 2 Blade combo helps up the damage you due per driver combo. The normal enemies around it also drop Silver Chips which are better for ATK blades and increase Gold drops. This is a pretty dope place to grind in the lower to mid 60's.

I am down to my last two RNG rare blades. I was able to get:
Spoiler: show
KOS-MOS!!!
last night, which I was stoked on.

I've been just doing this while I grind out Merc Missions for one of my other rare blades.

There is just something special about this game. I can't stop playing it!!!

EDIT: GOT MY LAST TWO BLADES. Within like 10 minutes after posting this from the last 4 legendary cores I had on me. It feels great to be done with that part of the RNG.

Itís silly how easy G becomes to grind once you get access to gold cylinders. I took me less than an hour to get 1 million+ gold to buy and unlock Shebaís affinity tree. And spent 30 more minutes to just be comfy on G for probably the rest of the game.

Iím at the start of chapter 6. I have 5 rare blades left to pull. Are there any good spots to grind for cores? I want to try and get all the RNG blades. Mostly to just get that out of the way because I know Iím going to end up doing basically everything in this game because Iím loving it oh so much.

As awesome as this announcement is, I'm still waiting on the localization announcement for Cold Steel III.  The silence since the game's Japanese release is making me nervous.  I'm desperately hoping NIS America doesn't get the rights to Cold Steel III considering their mishandling of the localisation of Ys VIII.  I might not think it is as awful as some, but I do acknowledge it was mediocre and could've been done far better.

they have the rights to CS3, sadly.

Source? I might cry if this is true. ;(((((

I have been having a 100% blast with this game so far.

I finally beat this game! The ending was as cheesy as I remember it being. Possibly one of the lamest final bosses in a FF game.

Now I'm unsure if I want to do all the end game content. I really don't want to be a slave to this games somewhat bullshit RNG.

Unless it is a joke, I've heard there is a huge cliffhanger at the end of CS III. I haven't delved into this because I don't want to risk being spoiled, but it came up on the Falcom subreddit so I'm unsure what to think. It is said to be even a worse cliffhanger than the end of CS I. ;(

I'm probably going to go digital with XBC2 since I recently got a 200 GB micro SD for my Switch even though I do want the collector's edition. Cart switching is a slight annoyance and I need to justify my purchase of this SD card. :P

I played Nights of Azure mostly out of curiosity. It was $12 at a local game shop. I found that game to be extremely subpar, but not necessarily bad. This game peaked my interest a little with some of the music I heard and how bright and pretty the art style is. But, knowing that it is just another subpar Gust KT game I'll probably just pass entirely.

The colors in this game are so vibrant. I love it. Graphics are lacking, but that is cool because the game runs sooo silky smooth. I've been having a blast playing this. Not sure I like Dogi's fashion choice for this adventure. =\
