Is it? I played Hard difficulty my first go-through. Dunno if they patched that though.

They're going to add 2 new difficulties in a patch I think. I hope it's more like Conquest's hard difficulties and less like Awakening's Lunatic difficulty (which was just a waste of time).

Oh didn't know that started playing on day 1 so never checked

Haven't played it yet, but I'm disheartened by everything I'm hearing about how easy the game is. I'll get to it eventually, but my backlog still includes slogging through all the supports in Fates: Revelation, so it'll be a while.

Its not easy for newbies, its just that they made it so that none of your squishy characters will get 1 shotted. Also difficulty does get a bit harder when enemy movement is greater. Plus classes like archers can now do serious damage to bosses when in the past arrows used to just bounce off strong characters.  Hard difficulty is supposed to be a good challenge but its locked until new game+ for some reason.

So far its ahead of FE: echoes for my favorite FE. Sure i could nitpick, its definitely the easiest FE game i played. Plus i still would like a more of a banner saga like thing where difficulty is turned up a bit but the characters are knocked out for a while.  But other than than that the battles are great, there are no real cheap deaths. I really enjoy the graphics, the decent voice acting and the story is passable and would gives you a ton of replay.

Instead of just mission packs I wouldn't mind seeing a say a 30 hr prequel, say before Blyeth is born set in the same world.

Yea working designs was the XSeed of their day. Their translations for the time were top notch. I didn't mind or notice the pop culture references. Wasn't a big fan of Lunar 1, but Lunar 2 for the PS1 is really damn good and the story holds up even for today.

I went with team Animal House. Already regretting it due to being sent into Double Secret Probation for my shenanigans.

I'm happy w/ team Edgelord. on chapter 8 now. my party is just obliterating everything now.  They've kind of balanced out the units, archers are much stronger, mages aren't as squishy. The only real useless character is once again the pegasus knight, which is somehow even more useless.
One way to try and make a Pegasus Knight more useful is to have them go through Wyvern Knight to give them some better strength growths for ten or so levels.

I've only been able to kroot the professors. I made Flayn a pegasus knight. Magic users do 0 damage but she only does like 5-6 hp of damage herself

5 hours into FE:3 Houses. Cold steel 3 is going to have a hard time topping this for GOTY. Yes they shamelessly copied the CS/persona social stuff but they did it extremely well. Art direction is crazy good, its got that sketch anime look that I love. Looks to be a good story might be taking root as well.

Went w/ the Black Eagles, just because I thought everyone would go w/ Golden deer

AoT season 3 part 2 was a god damn masterpiece. This show could have been a mindless shonen and yes it would have been watchable but the storytelling, its just crazy good right now.

Astra lost in space thinking about getting into.

Watched some of Mix, its a passable sprots anime. Also Gundam Char edition. Always been a Gundam casual and have to be in the mood for it. Very good though.

Vinland Saga watched 2 eps, yes its gonna be excellent.

Took a break from VC4 to play Horizon. Horizon is definitely good. The combat is very solid. Story is OK, albeit a little toooo serious, throw a little bit of wackiness in there guys its not going to hurt in what looks to be an 80hr game.

Just arrived at Meridan and the difficulty just ramped up. Those damn birds just spot me all the time. I'm level 20 and did pretty all the sidequests. Plz don't make me grind.

Does Dragon Prince still have the sluggish framerate like in the initial trailers? I got mixed feedback on that when last I looked.

It seemed well animated at least as well as Korra/TLA was. Usually I'm not picky about how the animation looks as long its not Berserk bad tho.

AoT's 1st few episodes of season 3 part 2 are some of the best ones of the entire series.

Oh and The 12 Kingdoms and Blue Seed are on crunchyroll now. They are 2 of my top 10s. 12 Kingdoms is an Isekai, and one w/ excellent story telling and no tropes (the 1st 5 episodes are a bit slow, but stick w/ it, its fantastic). Blue Seed is yea looking dated, but its inuyasha w/ a plot. Only disapointing part is that I don't think CR has the omake theater skits.

Watched ep 1 of Fairy Gone, and then shelved it. Might be OK but I'll wait for the series to end and then binge it.

I can wait out AoT too for at least a month or so.

So been going back to older series I missed. About 15 eps into Knights of Sedonia. Watchable space battles, story seems decent enough but wow the characters are all dull. Plus why the harem?

Also watched about 1.5 seasons of Dragon Prince. Its of course very avatar-y which is a good thing. And while I understood the reason for the lack of violence in Korra-Avatar as it was a nickeloden property, kind of disapointed that its not more PG-13ish now that they are Netflix.
