Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

Tidus from Final Fantasy X - First off I liked his very charismatic personality. His presence was strong. He had good values and always tried to be of any help for other people. I enjoyed the fact that he was a sport celebrity, pretty cool for a RPG. Besides (nah I’m not gay) he was really good looking so I enjoyed playing the game when my sister wasn’t that far around and hear her good comments about the character heh :D

Yuri from Shadow Hearts – Yuri was a very hot character. He was rude, arrogant and sarcastic but anyway he was a nice guy always ready to protect his friends.

Citan from Xenogear – I liked very much this cultivated/educated character, always there to get Fei out of danger with his great knowledge.

What’s the purpose of quarrelling? Is loving RPGs some kind of religion? :P

Some may love the game, and some may dislike it. It’s only a question of taste. That’s all.

For my part I just enjoy a game according to my personal tastes and I don’t mind at all if nobody else enjoyed it except me. We're all unique and different, so it's evident we won't share the same tastes about games.

Let's hope the game won't be late at the stores in the nearby!

YAAAY! I'm unique again!

I was intending to register as Hidochi :P

If you did that I would switch back. Hehe.

yeah you could simply change for Hitochi, this way Hidoshi wouldn't be too much pissed :P

We'll be a huge family :D

Hidoshi, Hidochi, Hitoshi, Hitochi, Hitachi :P

Yeah I agree, they should have never removed the darker feel in the newest episodes. I also liked the creepy font from SH1, too bad it was removed in SH2.

On the other hand what I really liked in Covenant was the powerful feeling of journeying around the world.

...*sigh*

You know, I would be excited with the game, but I am not.  I was a fan of Koudelka, and of course when Shadow Hearts came out I picked it up right away.  Not a direct sequel to Koudelka, but I loved the connection between the two.

I picked up Shadow Hearts: Covenant thinking I would have the same experience I had with the first one.  No dice.  I don't know why, but I pretty much hated the game.  I just couldn't get into it.

Maybe one day I will replay it and like it.  If that happens, I will get Shadow Hearts 3.

Yeah the creepy atmosphere from Shadow Hearts 1 isn't anymore in Shadow Hearts 2, but the story is a very good complement and complete very much the first episode. But it’s always a question of taste of course.

It has Pyramid Head in it, that alone makes me want to see this.

Christophe Gans is a huge fan of Silent Hill and Akira Yamaoka liked the film, so I'm not all that worried about it.

I'm not worries too. The movie seems to have a lot of potential. I'm happy to hear the Pyramid Head is in the movie.

I wonder if Shadow Heart: From THE New World will be connected with the two previous episodes.

In Shadow Hearts 1 they talked about a scientist/doctor leading strange experiments in New York.

Yes it is my favorite series as well.

I stopped playing with Grandia III, I don't know why but I'm not in the mood to play this game right now. I prefer to reserve some time for Shadow Hearts: From a New World.

I just found Guy in Lufia II. I'm heading to the Tanbel Tower to free Guy's sister from the mysterious man.

Shadow Heart 3 is going to be released in 3 days. I'm excited! Who's going to buy the game?

RPGfan's review written by Patrick is very convincing. It's definitely a game I don't want to miss.
252  Media / The Soundroom / Some fans of the Dark Tower saga here? on: March 04, 2006, 10:43:16 AM

Actually, I justed started the Dark Tower saga myself. I'm up to book two and I'm hooked. It's just hard to find time to do some heavy-duty reading when a lot of games I've been anticipating are coming out so soon.

When you'll be in book three you will be amazed by the plot. Book one and two are just the prologue of the big adventure.

I suggest that you read Eyes of the Dragon, The Stand and Insomnia before going any further in the saga. You will enjoy more the series.

There's also Talisman 1 and 2.

I'm nostalgic, so I'm always playing old games :P

I beat Fanaxadu, awesome nes game. I started a game with Kablooe (puzzle genre) and a new game with Lufia 2. I'm also playing Lagoon.

I started a game with Grandia III, looking really nice.

the official website;

hey what's your impression on the trailer so far? Are you going to watch it during the first week at theater?

As a huge fan of the series I'm very excited about this movie. I just hope they won't ruin the movie like they did with many other survival horror titles (Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead)

Anyway I would like to hear your impression, mostly if you're a Silent Hill fan :D
255  Media / Single-Player RPGs / debate about Square-Enix on: March 03, 2006, 07:08:31 AM
hehe we currently have a funny debate about Square-Enix;

http://www.blossomsoft.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1014

but I would like to have the opinion of true rpg gamers  What do you think of Square merging with Enix? Do you think the games are better quality now? What do you think of all the FF7 spine-off?
