So I played Xenoblade for 6 hours straight yesterday. To make it clear that I really like it; It's the best rpg on wii.
+ If you do not like like endeless walking, you can use fast-traveling as much as you want + abillities are used in the story and in battle (can't say more without spoiling), and use abillities well to survive! + Japanese voices are selectable + Don't like using healing potions outside battle? Your HP will regenerate fast! + Are you afraid the battle-system is too simple? Fear not, it keeps unlocking tutorials for new stuff all the time + The story is actually very interesting + When you finish a quest, no need to track down the quest-giver, you'll get the reward right away. + big open fields and caverns to explore (At times impressive scale) + tons of side-missions + If you die, you respawn nearby without any xp loss + Excellent art direction
- It's a blurry mess - It has textures from last generation - It has a lot of pop ups
To be fair, I'm playing it on a 60" plasma. But I really wish the game would've been a 360 / ps3 game. The wii is really struggling at times. However, graphics do not make or break a game. I woke up early to write this, and right after, I'll play for hours again!

I ache for this game. Was a euro date ever announced? I'd be quite happy to import though.
Not as far as I know. But with the regular DS games, we can import. Sadly this all ends with the 3DS :( So many games I had to import on DS, so many games I will not get on 3DS...

For some reason my psp doesn't show the latest podcast in the rss feed. The latest it shows is: 27 / 7 / 2010. I don't have any trouble with any other podcast rss feeds. How come?

1. Yakuza 3 ; Thinking back, this is the only game that made me double dip form japanese and euro elease, and I also finished it twice. I guess you could say it "way more fun than it is good." 2. Dragon Quest 9: Sentinels of the Starry Skies ; I played this multiplayer with my wife and a friend. We had some really nerdy weekend togheter. Lovely game, I love Dragon Quest games. 3. Resonance of Fate ; Refreshing RPG in both story, style and battlesystem. 4. Ys Seven ; Really fast paced rpg and a very addictive rpg. 5. Final Fantasy 13 ; It grew on me. The battlesystem was great and it's beautiful. 6. Nier ; This game kept me wondering about the story all the way through. The world was interesting too. 7. Atelier Rorona ; My first atelier game. I really liked the alchemy part, the fighting and the amount of freedom what to concentrate on. I also feel I could've changed the ending a lot. I wish the characters were grown-up though. 8. Ys: The Oath in Felghana ; I liked being alone better than in Ys SEVEN, the lighter story was better too. But some of the platforming was boring and the fighting system not as wild and cool as in the SEVEN. 9. Valkyria Chronicles 2 ; Looking back at it, I liked it far less than the prequel. The characters were boring, the story was flat... But the game was packed with content and new classes. I still had a lot of fun. 10. Mass Effect 2 ; Not my kinda rpg, but it was pretty and it was fun choosing dialogue. I wish I liked fps games better though.
Something like that. Phantasy Star Portable 2 almost took tenth place. I don't really look back at my time playing ME2 as awesome, but I think I have to aknowledge how great it is in terms of graphics and dialogue.

This year I've finished Atelier Rorona - Awful characters, interesting concept and great item crafting system Deathspank - very funny, cool co-op Dragon Age - Fun to watch the ending Dragon Quest IX - Best DS game, played a lot even after finishing it. Final Fantasy XIII - Recently finished it Hexyz Force - Finished it, loved the fast forward possiblillity. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep - Finished it. Got a lot better as I played it more. Lunar PSP - Finished it, it was fun and charming. Mass Effect 2 - Finished it on 360. Nier - Really unique story, (& ending) + great music. Surprisingly fun. Phantasy Star Portable 2 - Taking my time, trying to get good gear and getting my character to a high level. Resonance of Fate - Completed it, even got all side missions. Had a great time. Sakura Wars V - Saw the ending with Gemini. Star Ocean 4 - Great gameplay. Cool to be able to skip all cutscenes Tales of Vesperia (I think I finished it this year) Trinity Universe Some cool battles and interesting treasure finding system. Awful story though. Valkyria Chronicles II - Great battles, not great new characters. Yakuza 3 - Finished it twice, loved the characters, story, gameplay. Really awesome. YS Seven - Speedy AWESOME gameplay, great music. Media / Single-Player RPGs / When can we expect to see White Knight Chronicles 2 in Europe / US ?

I was one of those that enjoyed the first White Knight Chronicles. As far as I can see from the release dates at RPG fan, White Knight Chronicles 2 is still noted as TBA in the US. Since White Knight Chronicles 2 was released 07/08/10 in Japan, I had hoped to see it during the early part of next year in english.
I'm hoping one of the RPG experts here knows when to expect the game.
