And by soon, I mean next week http://www.destructoid.com/bioshock-developer-revealing-new-game-trailer-next-week-180468.phtml

The codename for that project reeks of originality, "Project Icarus". But hey, those guys can't make a bad game, can't wait to see what this'll be.

Coming Spring 2011

With multiplayer, no less. Which means we'll never get that promised MP update for the first game D:

More potential good news for fans.

Am I the only one who felt that a lot of the bosses' difficulty just came from the fact that they sometimes had a ridiculously high critical hit rate?

I mean, I just finished the game, and I never even was worried against the final boss, but it was my second try. On my first try, his first attack was a critical hit on my main character, instant kill. Second turn, obviously Zing failed, he gets a critical on my priest, instant kill. Now I'm dead because none of the two other characters had yggdrasil leaves or a zing spell. Similar things happened against other bosses too, it's just really annoying since there's no strategy involved, you just hope you get lucky.

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs.

After seeing 'em live last Monday, I can't stop listening to them.

Lacking any current gen console, but I do have Steam. Username is RogerHuxley, pretty simple.
24  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: How long do you play games a day? on: January 25, 2010, 01:53:48 PM
At this point it's more about 10-15 hours a week, spread out more or less randomly since my schedule isn't quite set.

It's not a lot.

I've heard so much whining about it being in 3D lately. Hey, the PS2 ones weren't that bad, I enjoyed them to a certain extent. This looks good and I hope it'll be great. With the team behind, we can definitely hope for an excellent product.
26  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Free Indie RPG - Legionwood!! on: April 19, 2009, 05:24:41 AM
That would be all the script processing. I lovingly refer to Legionwood sometimes as "the most complex RPG Maker game of all time" and that would probably be accurate too. There are over 80 scripts working together in the background behind the audio and graphics, so that's where the lag comes from. Generally though, you should be fine if your RAM is 1GB or more, and even if it is less, you can reduce SOME lag by playing in Full Screen mode (pressing Alt + Enter) then pressign F1 and making sure the "Reduce Screen Flickering" box is unchecked.

RAM isn't everything, and having tried other games made with VX, they are poorly optimized, and there's not  much you can do about it.

Creepiest thing I've ever seen on the tubes. Ever.

I don't know why but I feel like a full blown remake of Breath of Fire 2 with modern graphics would be a good idea. Not going to happen, but yeah, I'm craving some BoF these days.

Here's the whole image. I think I'll use it as a desktop background >_>

Happy unicorns and a happy, smiling sun. That's always what we expect from a Diablo game.
