Ah, read about that stuff too. I'll probably wait and see what others say, but I'm still pretty interested in it.
Deep Labyrinth has my interest due to the people working on it, though it doesn't look too great... But what the hell at the cover art. Not that it's bad or anything... But it looks like something out of the 16-bit era, which is pretty damn strange given Atlus.

No. Contact sucks. Trust us on this one. FFIII I disagree with Damian on, but where things are hot, Contact is so not. Mind explaining what the problems with Contact were? It sounds fine from the previews, outside of the auto battle.

It's generally considered good practice to jump into conversations or post an interesting topic, and not simply one that asks your favorite RPG, how many you have, etc. But I don't think anyone found this topic 'demanding' or anything, so I wouldn't worry about that. Anyways, hey, welcome to the forums. :P

Con: Atlus showing Contact and Deep Labyrinth ... Con: Graphics on FF3 The hell's wrong with you? Contact looks awesome, and FFIII has some damn nice graphics. :P Con: New Shadowrun game being a F***ING FPS and rewriting the game's mythos. As if my thread in Misc wasn't enough... concurred.

Hard to say, both are awesome games. I can't decide who to vote for anyway; GF isn't going to get as much attention from the other folks most likely, and I like to root for the underdog. But SoTC is shorter and probably easier to beat in a weekend (unless you have a faq for GF, but that takes out half the fun).
Not been playing much, will probably pick back up SuikV now that 'ohh, new computer!' allure is wearing off.

Before the inevitable lock... Going on GameSpot and moving everything that's simply marked RPG to 'now playing', I have 111 RPGs. This doesn't take into account action RPGs, computer RPGs, or games that some here consider RPGs anyway, ala the recent CV games and the Zeldas.

Disappointing it won't come out I guess, but... Was anyone here really interested in the game? The style looked interesting, but if it was that poorly received... Meh. :P

As for what happened in XS2: There was a scene in the american version where young Albedo blew off his head with an energy blast. In the japanese version, it was a gun. I also think its worth noting that, from what I read on the Atlus forums awhile back, it sounds like Atlus has no intention of trying for a T rating. So take that as you will.

This is Atlus we're talking about - they brought over the series where people eat each other. I'm sure it'll be fine.
Also, really pissed at the reason Devil Summoner PSP wasn't OK'd - It's /entirely/ new content for the US asshats, and it never even came out on the PSX anywhere in the world anyway. Just... God, I really wish Sony's content control loosened up to the degree of Microsoft's or something, this is just stupid.

Even if it's an awesome FPS (it sounds like it could be), it's still not the awesome cyberpunk RPG it /could/ have been. Meh. :P
