Had a mixture of a really shitty weekend and a really amazing one. Everything after 12PM on Saturday has been amazing and everything before sucked balls. But the good helped me deal with the bad: got to spend the weekend with a couple close friends from high school, played D&D with them and some other peeps, drank a lot, played multiplayer games and ate the best fucking hot dog I've ever had. Got home to find my PS4 arrived, and now it's all set up. :)

Here's to hoping we all have a better week than the last one!

So yeah, Inquisition.  I have no idea.  I'm not even sure what race, sex, or class my Inquisitor is going to be.  That'll be at least three hours at the character creation screen(s).

I'm pretty much set on who my Inquisitor will be, but I'll end up spending 3 hours at CC fine-tuning what they will look like, haha.

I've said it probably a thousand times, but this is my most hyped game of the year, right before Pillars of Eternity (if that lands this year, which I am doubting). Everything I've seen for DA:I has me intrigued, and I can't wait to get my hands on Dragon Age: Keep and play around with that. Hell, I even have a countdown on my phone for when this game releases.

Baldur's Gate:

I played through this series back when I was 12 and didn't know shit about how the gameplay worked. This time around, I'm patient enough to figure the rules out, so I'm not nearly as bad as when I first played.

I'm playing the EE version, so I'm using Neera, Rasaad and Dorn. My main is a Kensai, and I also have Imoen for ranged and Branwen for healz. Thinking about switching Bran for Viconia, not sure yet.

So they added Top Chef to Hulu, a show I've been wanting to see for a long time.

The host, Padma, is probably the most beautiful woman I've ever seen

Tom Colicchio is a looker himself as well. :D

My two favorite places for first dates are coffee shops and my apartment.

Went on a game buying spree a couple weeks ago, and one of the titles I picked up was Bioshock Infinite. Haven't touched it yet, but I did play through the original Bioshock, which was included on the disc. I really enjoyed it, and went for the "Good" ending. Managed to get through on Hard with no Vita Chambers, which was a little difficult at points, but largely the game was challenging, but not mind-wrenchingly difficult, even on hard. The mthod of story-telling was very well done, reminded me quite a but if Half-life, which is definitely a good thing.

Playing the original God of War right now, and just beat the first boss. Still can't get over my dislike of Kratos, but I'm guessing he's not necessarily a main character you're supposed to like.

I'm totally sold on this game.

Also, thank you Yggdrasil for all the updates! :)

While I enjoyed Godzilla, the movie did have some problems.

Like Grim, I felt like Godzilla was lacking a bit in the film, despite it being named "Godzilla." Also, the lead actor just did not have the presence to be the main character. I seriously just did not give two shits about him or his storyline. I'd rather they just kept Bryan Cranston as the main character.

Code:
The design of the enemy monsters was great, and I liked that they tried to give them a more "realistic" background then using space magic.

And while Ken Watanabe is a total DILF (methinks you and me share a taste in DILFs, Dicey), I'm pretty sure most of the scenes he was in consisted of him walking towards the camera and staring at something off screen, his mouth ajar.

The last time Nomura promised me something great I ended up needing a penicillin shot

Just destroyed the boss battle at Shinobazu Pond in SMT IV, can't figure out if I am that leveled up, that good due to playing Nocturne soooo much or if the game simply isn't as hard as I was led to believe. Either way I love this game, brings back so many great memories of Nocturne

Its not nearly as hard as it was with Minotaur/Medusa. Really, after that hump you'll start coming into enough resources and options in general to trounce anybody short of guys you should not be fighting for hours from now, provided you know what you're doing.

Anyways, I managed to come into an Xbox 360 controller with a USB plug recently, and between that and finishing up my no grind Ephraim Hard Mode run, I believe the time to resume my Hugo Nightmare run on Ys Origins is nigh. And on that note, and coming from right outside the second boss fight's chamber, I'm now currently up to the second half of the Water level (of course, just as I've gotten used to Hugo's awkward Wind magic, I come into his even awkwarder Thunder magic). Of course, my laptop was chugging during the third boss fight (which caused an unfortunate amount of deaths).

For a second, I read Hugo's House of Horrors.

OMG Ultra, I fucking loved that game back in the day. I totally forgot about it until now too.

Legend of Zelda: Ageist Oracles

Got 4 of the 8 thingers I need to collect. Like the switch hook, but I'm guessing it's gonna have some pretty limited use. The ring mechanic is neat, but doesn't seem to have much an impact on the game. So far the 3rd dungeon has been the most difficult, but in terms of bosses the 2nd was the most challenging. It's scratching my Zelda itch for the moment, but I'm thinking what I really need is one of the 3D Zelda games.
