Sakura Taisen 1&2 Compilation for PSP. GameFAQS has translation FAQs for most of both games content.

Anyone else getting this? I tried out the demo after Kotaku raved about it, and loved it. It was charming, atmospheric and loads of fun. I already have it preordered via Steam. I think I might have played Terror from the Deep years ago, and couldn't get into it, but this re-imagining has me really intrigued.

What I am looking forward to the most is being able to name my soldiers after my friends, and then update them on their virtual fates. :D

IDIOT EDIT: Sorry, my bad, didn't even think to check back for older topics. Rookie mistake. Anyway, feel free to delete or merge topic, I totes understand.

I dunno, if I recall correctly, Leon never unlatched that chastity belt at the end of RE4.

Poor Ashley, she just wanted Leon all over her face. :p

I guess Leon isn't a bad enough dude to sleep with the president's daughter.

Leon's hair is too perfect and Chris sure knows how to fist a boulder.

That topic devolved fast, as per expected of a GameFAQs topic about anything that doesn't start with "Who's your favorite XXXX"

So this is about why Chris never ended a having a relationship with Jill and Leon with Ada (and screwing around with Ashley after the events of RE4)?

Yeah, I'm totes one of those peeps with bad skin that I never grew out of. I don't get a ton of acne, but the ones I do get tend to be big and leaves dents. I'm going to a dermatologist and hoping I can get on something that actually gets rid of it instead of it just making it disappear for a while.

I enjoyed the demo myself. I have a few problems, and I'm sure I wouldn't like it as much had I not played it with a friend doing co-op. I'm with you Yggdrasil, in that Jake and Sherry's was probably the best one, and Chris and Piers was my least favorite. I think I would have enjoyed C&P more had I had a better grasp of the controls, since there isn't really time to get acclimated, considering you have to find cover almost immediately. The whole cover aspect kept screwing me up, because the last game I played with cover mechanics was Mass Effect 3, and I kept trying to emulate those controls, and ended up leaping over my cover.

I really wish they kept Sheva as Chris's partner. That whole co-op partner dynamic was the point of the last RE. The only reason I can see them replacing her is to try to make Chris's story into a Hollywood war movie, and thus that means a band of male soldiers.

Best part of the whole demo? There were two for me. The first was in Leon & Helena's campaign, where they have to get out via cop car. What a huge nod to RE2 that was, I was grinning the whole time. The second was realizing that the voice actors for Jake and Sherry are the same for Yuri and Estelle from Tales of Vesperia, which gave me a bit of a fanboy moment.

Had an overall bad mental health day. I have some un-diagnosed anxiety issues, and caffeine tends to exaggerate them, and my dumb ass drank an energy drink AND a cup of coffee to wake up this morning. Result? I ended up obsessively worrying and was still tired anyway. Can't turn my brain off either, which is making doing homework kinda hard. Might just give up, call it a night, and see if a bud wants to do the RE6 demo co-op tonight.

Part of my wants to buy a bunch of DLC, then replay Origins, Awakening and DA2.  Another part of me wants to just work through more backlog and save money.  Decisions, decisions....

I know how you feel. I never finished DA2, and now all I want to do is play it and prep myself for the next game. Or just do as you said and replay Origins and do that dwarven play-through I keep meaning to do.

Speaking of races, I certainly hope we'll see some more variety in when it comes to choosing who we play as. I enjoyed Hawke a lot, and thought he/she was a great character, but I missed being able to choose my race and origin. If they bring anything back, I really hope its origins.

Also, the news story was updated and it looks like they're aiming for a late 2013 release.

Damn, now I want to play Origins again.  What a great game!  Still, I can't stand the Mage's Circle section.  I wish we could just take that part of the game out!!

If you're playing on comp, there's a mod that let's you

skip the Fade section

which should make it a bit shorter.

I wonder if next gen?

For all it's faults I loved the premise of 2 and I had a lot of fun with the main quest. Hopefully they can address some of the painfully obvious issues most people had with it.

Judging from their press release, it sounds like their aware of the issues and are more than ready to address them.

If the leaks are true (as it appears) then this could be really cool.  Fingers crossed!

I just looked up some of them, and if they are indeed true, this game is going to be bad-ass. I can't wait to hear more, they totally have me hooked already.

Anyone giving to the Project Eternity Kickstarter? I did, cause I'm in love with this concept and I trust the minds behind it.

I guess it's already reached its goal, so now its all about them stretch goals, baby!

I'm pretty sure most (if not all) of the death threats were a way to get the attention of the people at PlatinumGames and nothing more than that. If some of those mofos were serious about it, well... that's their problem.

It's a fucking shitty way to get attention then. I don't think anyone remotely sane wants to have death threats thrown at them, even in jest.

It's seriously just a game people; this is just a collection of polygons made to resemble an over-sexed Sarah Palin who acts like Dante. There are death threats over this.

Not getting a WiiU and crossing my fingers that the exclusivity is just a phase that Bayo2 will grow out of.

If Nintendo actively funded this game to be developed it's not happening.

I suppose I'll keep my mind open about the WiiU then. I like to hold off thinking about purchasing a console until there is at least 10 games on it I wanna play. With Bayo2, I guess that means the WiiU has one now. Not to say that the WiiU doesn't have any good looking games or anything, just none that have caught my eye.

And with all that said, I hope this game is just as campy and over-the-top as the original.
