Beat Mass Effect 2 for a second time with my Renegade Female Shep on Insanity. Playing on that difficulty was a learning experience, and caused me to raise my voice and say some not-so-polite things. Also, Vanguard's Charge Special Skill was pretty useless on the difficulty, since taking fire for more than a few seconds is death.

Dunno what to play next. Been reading Higurashi, so maybe I'll work on this next chapter I'm on. Also got Dark Souls for my B-day, so maybe I'll play a little more of that. I only played enough to know that I am terrible at acting defensively.

I was going to point out that USUALLY the glitches weren't that big of a deal so long as you kept a ton of saves... then I remembered how when trying to get a mammoth stuck on terrain it floated away then plummeted to its death. Scratch that, you don't get it now you're going to miss all of the awesome glitches.

I had one where I was in a conversation with someone, and another dude came walking by, trying to go between us, but it was as if there was some invisible wall between me and this guy, so the dude walking past just kept moving in the same spot, trying to get through this wall. I lol'd pretty good at that one. Also saw a mammoth somehow end up on top of another one, that was pretty good too.

Dice: Benedryl

Yeah, I think future flu's and cold's are just gonna involve me whacked-out on pills and liquids.

Subway is over-priced.... but I'll be damned if I can make a better Parmesan-Oregano Pizza Sub (olde time favorite)

The Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki is where it's at. I live and love by that sandwich.

Another day,another Septim.

2 more days!

I can't wait either! Gah, I know I'm over-hyped, but I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time!

American Horror Story Episode 6

Good but not great. This one started strong, with something they've teased at the whole time, but haven't really acknowledged:

Finally one of the main characters knows about the ghosts! I mean, yeah, Constance and Moira and all the rest either know or are ghosts, but to finally have one of Harmons confront it was a breath of fresh air.

The whole Violet/Tate storyline was probably the strongest part of the whole episode. I think Violet reacts in such a believable way in that she let down her guard and let herself appear vulnerable to her parents for once.

Ben's patient's story was nice and creepy, like a good horror movie, and then that final scene ruined it. What a let down. I mean:
Having a robber shoot him was so anticlimatic. It's obvious they were setting up for something to happen, and I get that they dont want to just throw in every supernatural trope there is, but it was so awkward and unnecessary to just have some random robber shoot him. There was so much wasted potential in that last scene too, because it was one of the few times I was genuinely on the edge of my seat and really truly creeped out. I guess the only redeeming part about it is that there is an interesting contrast between him being so terrified about something that is not real (the urban legend) and his professed lack of fear of everyday dangers (the robbers), the latter of which might be responsible for his death, not some urban legend.

Not to say this episode sucked or anything. It was still fun and creepy, and the Violet/Tate storyline managed to finally capture my interest.

Grim, what'd you think about this episode? I ask 'cause you and I seem to be the only ones gushing about it. :P

Started playing KoTOR in anticipation for Skyrim. Would have played Oblivion but I can't find my disc.

Anyway, never played KoTOR before, but I had gotten in off of Steam earlier this year. I like the stylishness of the combat, and the dialogue is good. While I'm no stranger to older Bioware games (played a lot of BG2 and NWN1 in my day), I do have to say I'm spoiled on Mass Effect and Dragon Age's dialogue options. Most of the time the good/bad options are actually decent person/dick. Little morally grey areas so far. Not that it really matters, I planned on going Light Side anyway.

sup with all the korean tv shows on hulu?

I dunno, but I've been watching Boys Before Flowers, and I can't help but love this show. It's stupid, cheesy, and terrible in all the right ways.

Just watched the Live Action Skyrim commercial.

Needs more Lusty Argonian Maid.

But in all seriousness, watching these vids makes me wanna play Oblivion to get ready for Skyrim. Officially excited now!

American Horror Story Episode 4

SO DARK. Really, I had to find uplifting YouTube videos to raise my spirits to keep doing homework cause this episode bummed me so much. THINGS KEEP HAPPENING

Although I should have seen it coming,
when Adelaide was hit by a car,
my mouth was agape. It was just so abrupt that I was taken by surprise.

One gripe though:

After the nurse passed out/died from seeing the ultrasound, the next time we see the Harmons is when they are back at the house. I know this show leaves the viewer to fill in some of the gaps, but this is a pretty major one. I also get that its a two-parter, but you would assume that the hospital wouldn't just let Vivian leave all of a sudden like that. It just didn't make much sense to me.

I have #2 so I pick #1!!

1) would you rather have to suffer through load times in real life

2) have the equivalent of "lost save files" in real life. i.e. all of a sudden there's a chance you lose everything

#1, but if #2 were the case I'd be a total hedonist and drink all the time and kiss everyone/everything available. Might as well take the chance I'll lose everything! (Oh wait, that's kinda like real life huh, better start finding things to kiss then)

Would you rather

1) Live in a world where there are only like 5 towns on your continent

2) Have most people only spout out the same lines whenever you talk to them?

Just realized that I put it in the wrong thread:
episode 3 of American Horror Story - This show continues to baffle and bedazzle at the same time. I'm loving it! It's great how they are slowly doling out information about the house, and all the people who have lived(and died) there. It's utterly fascinating. Throw in the incredibly HOT red-headed maid(young version), and it's become a must watch.

I loved this episode as well. They revealed quite a bit without feeling like they're just dumping info on you. The best part, IMO, was when Vivian was on the tour and learning about the history of the house. Seriously, this house has one fucked up origin. When it cuts back to her and her mouth is just agape because the weight of all the WTFness is crashing down on her, hauaghasfsaklguh. What a great moment.

Me, dressed as a fucking terrible Tuxedo Mask. I was posing for a picture, not just randomly smelling my $1.97 plastic rose. OR WAS I?!?
