I'm totes getting it. As a big fan of VNs, I eat up any chance a non-erotic game gets licensed.

Been watching a lot the new season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Anyone else watch this show? It's become my latest guilty pleasure. Yeah, its trash tv, but so entertaining, and it really has taught me quite a bit about drag culture, and eliminated a lot of stereotypes for me. It's also one of the few shows I watch nowadays; until Game of Thrones comes back (so excited!) this show and Walking Dead are the only things I watch.

Hale is fucking badass. I'm not one of those who play females just because I am one, but after two runs with FemShep it's really hard to play as MShep. That trailer was worth the wait. :)

I agree, Hale's performance is just amazing; she hits all the right notes. Meer's performance isn't bad, but compared to Hale's it comes off a bit stiff at times, especially in the 1st game. In the 2nd, he has a better range.

Along with the host of trailers featured in the recent news on the main website, Bioware has finally unveiled the FemShep trailer. I'm sad that there even has to be a "FemShep trailer" and that she was featured in more trailers, but at least she has one. It was pretty decent too, showing off not only FemShep being badass, but some ME2 characters as well.

Pure catharsis. I'm sure there'll be a message at the end about being judgmental and shit, but until then, I'm ready to enjoy this ride. Glad to see Freddy Rumsen getting mean.

While I am excited for what the trailer promises, I'm a tad sad that they chose Chris and Leon again as leads. I am more fond of the RE ladies myself, like Rebecca, Jill and Claire. Sheva was pretty cool too, partner.

That said: OMG ZOMBIES AGAIN!

Anyone else curious about Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom at all?  It's rare to see an otome game in the US, but it's Idea Factory.  That's enough to make anyone kneejerk, but is it fair to knock it before you try it?  Hey, if I'd done that, I wouldn't have listened to WASP's "The Crimson Idol" album, which is fantastic.  I know it's WASP, but put your preconceived notions aside and check it out.  At least Hakuoki doesn't look like typical !F, so it would be nice if the whole package turns out to be a pleasant surprise like Crimson Idol was for me.

I'm totes excited for Hakuoki. It seems to have a pretty popular following, and the art released so far is nice to look at. Plus, the screenshots of its system shows that it at least has a few more bells and whistles compared to most visual novels available over here. One of my favorite features is a route chart thing, which I wish more VNs made use of.

Other than that, I'm pretty stoked for Tales of Graces f, even if I don't have a PS3. I do plan to get one, and I want to throw in my support, so I think of it as more of a preliminary buy.

Also:

Mass Effect 3 for god knows how many reasons.

Edit: Forgot Growlanser IV! Can't wait to get my fix of them shiny anime people!

Watched a ton of Breaking Bad lately. It is easily one of the best shows on TV. I love Mad Men and Walking Dead to death, but Breaking Bad just blows my mind every episode. Walt and Jesse have to be the two most polarizing characters on TV in the way that you both root them on and feel disgusted by their actions.

Speaking of Mad Men, new season in March! :D

Started playing Aselia. Not to RPG part yet. There's something weird with the way Kotori's mouth is drawn. Also, there's something a bit off about the way Misaki looks. Kyouko and Kaori's designs are pretty clean though.

American Horror Story season finale!
Code:
What the fuck?! The whole family is dead now? I am utterly shocked. I suppose it makes sense, though. Now season 2 can start fresh. I wonder what role that baby is going to play. Vicious little fucker.

Probably be a LONG time before season 2 comes around. Watch this show if you like dark and twisty cluster fucks!

For the next season I think they should do one of two things:

Either A:

Code:
Have Constance move away with the devil baby and have the show revolve around her and murderous, unholy abomination of a grandchild.

or B:

Code:
Start fresh with a brand new storyline. Really, this is where I want the show to go. Each season could be its own self-contatined story, and could even be a different kind of horror, not just a new haunted house.

Overall I thought the finale was really good. They cleared up a lot of loose ends I think. I am satisfied and ready for whatever they want to throw at us next year. Also, it got nominated for a Golden Globe! As did Jessica Lange! While I don't think this show has a chance at winning, I do hope Ms. Lange does. Her Constance was despicable in the right ways.

Beat Mass Effect 2 for a second time with my Renegade Female Shep on Insanity. Playing on that difficulty was a learning experience, and caused me to raise my voice and say some not-so-polite things. Also, Vanguard's Charge Special Skill was pretty useless on the difficulty, since taking fire for more than a few seconds is death.

Dunno what to play next. Been reading Higurashi, so maybe I'll work on this next chapter I'm on. Also got Dark Souls for my B-day, so maybe I'll play a little more of that. I only played enough to know that I am terrible at acting defensively.

(Heavy) Charge isn't all useless on Insanity. It'll knock back your enemy and give you time to melee/unload your shotgun on the poor soul/look for cover/charge again. But yes, it is one of the most challenging classes to play on higher difficulties.

You're right, it did get more useful later in the game when my shield and health were high enough to withstand being away from cover. When I got surrounded by husks or varren, it helped create an escape route. It also makes it really easy to get the Tactician achievement, since you can just have someone use pull or throw and then charge them.

I was going to point out that USUALLY the glitches weren't that big of a deal so long as you kept a ton of saves... then I remembered how when trying to get a mammoth stuck on terrain it floated away then plummeted to its death. Scratch that, you don't get it now you're going to miss all of the awesome glitches.

I had one where I was in a conversation with someone, and another dude came walking by, trying to go between us, but it was as if there was some invisible wall between me and this guy, so the dude walking past just kept moving in the same spot, trying to get through this wall. I lol'd pretty good at that one. Also saw a mammoth somehow end up on top of another one, that was pretty good too.

Dice: Benedryl

Yeah, I think future flu's and cold's are just gonna involve me whacked-out on pills and liquids.

Subway is over-priced.... but I'll be damned if I can make a better Parmesan-Oregano Pizza Sub (olde time favorite)

The Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki is where it's at. I live and love by that sandwich.
