Anamanaguchi - Helix Nebula

Just bought this EP too. :D

I'm re-reading A Clash of Kings in order to get to A Dance with Dragons, which I bought at release and its sexy hardcover self has been waiting patiently for me to re-tread stuff I've already read so I can remember who most of these people are. Anyway, still good the second time around. For those of you who have watched the show and loved it and find it hard to inspire yourself to read, try listening to the opening theme. It makes me wanna read every time.

Outside of that, I've been also re-reading House of Leaves. Its more of a mindfuck the second time around, since I'm realizing just how unreliable any of the narrators are. I don't even know if the editors are real or not.

is lost boys that vampire movie?

Yeah, like the only good one, too.

Lost Boys is great, but there were a few other good ones. From Dusk till Dawn is too ridiculous not to be fun, and Fright Night (the original) is so super cheesy that it is also fun. The sequel was subpar, but it had the best vampire ever (the one on the roller skates. He would totally be in my vampire posse were I ever to have one.)

Oh, I know I am not the sole gay guy here, by FAR. It's just starting to feel crowded. -.- Get back in the closet (Tunnels).

I see how it is. Does this mean we have to fight?!

Also, seeing my Username written out makes me realize how pretentious is is. :/ I blame Arcade Fire.

The Dark Crystal is and was a great movie. Pretty dark, too. Duh, I guess.

I really liked The Dark Crystal when I was kid. Those puppet things also creeped me the fuck out. Now I totally need to watch it again.

Revealing fact about Ole Yodes:

That was one of my favorite movies for some reason when I was a kid. We only had one tv and I'd watch that all the time for a few weeks one time. My dad was pissed. He probably thought I was gay or something.

My dad didn't like me watching the Golden Girls. He also probably thought I was gay or something. Which I am. And I still love the Golden Girls.

Top 10 reasons to be interested in Guild Wars 2 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBC_ig73aMs.  Pretty much sold on this game now.  Hopefully it turns out well because it seems pretty cool.  The mass realm PVP could be a lot of fun as well.

Yeah, this video sold me as well. I'm gonna keep my eye on this game. Hopefully these changes will nix most of the problems I have with MMOs.

The best part of the whole game I swear to god. Everything else was gold, but getting my space hamster was fucking magical.

Brian Epstein was a pretty sexy dude

I feel this way about Walt Whitman and Ulysses S. Grant. Something 'bout dem beards, mmm.
669  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Holiday games, something about this years crop on: September 30, 2011, 04:03:22 PM
I'm probably gonna get Skyrim, and that's really about it. Maybe Dark Souls, but that's if I have the money, which is pretty tight right now. Nothing else really interests me enough.

Also, this is the quintessential holiday game.

I haven't been following much in the ways of anime/manga recently, but I did borrow Wandering Son from the library, and it is a really touching, beautiful story about two transgendered kids. I'd like to buy it, but the price tag is pretty hefty for just one manga. The volume is well done, but $20 is pretty steep. I'd like to support it though; I really wanna see where this story goes.

Beat Devil Survivor. I managed to beat the last string of bosses all on my first try, although the final boss was cutting it really close. I was down to one character, and said character was about to die, as was the boss. One hit either way was gonna end it one way or another, and the die rolled in my favor. Overall, very fun game. Gotta study for an exam, and then tomorrow or Wednesday I'll probably start something else, just dunno what yet.

Devil Survivor End of Day 6 Spoilers:

Beat Belial on my first try. It took me 6 tries for Beldr, but I guess being able to use all your party members instead of JUST ONE GUY kinda helps. Just spammed ice attacks mostly and didn't worry about his cronies. According to the little bit I've looked at in guides, I'm going for Gin's path. Really interested to see where this goes.

Around 17:30 on Day 6 in Devil Survivor. This game is fucking with my life. I know I should be doing really important college stuff, but all I keep thinking about is beating this stupid game. About how long is the last day, for those who've beaten it? I wanna know how much longer I have till I'm through with it.

That all sounds really negative, but I am enjoying the hell out of it. I like the mystery behind the story, and the battles are pretty fun. Once again I am very pleased with a MegaTen game.

I remember the encounter rate pissing me off, but that's something I can put up with, actually. It's annoying, but not a game-breaker.
Same. If that's the game's biggest problem (other than graphics), I can live.

I'm hoping I can live. I'm gambling with this one, since I found the encounter rate in Black Sigil to be way too unbearable.

Because the subtitle for this game is The Golden, I'm going to name my main Ponyboy. His last name is Greaser.
