It's been confirmed that the game is set between Super Metroid and Fusion.

I do hope, however, that this takes place after Fusion and is basically Metroid V. Remember that Metroid IV left on a huge cliffhanger: pitting Samus against the rest of humanity, and infused with Metroid DNA. Even though Fusion had (IMO) pretty lame gameplay, the story was one of the best in the franchise, it would be nice to continue where that left off.

As much as I want a Metroid V, I think Other M will be set before Fusion.

Code:
See the "Any objections, Lady?" line. It's Adam. Unless it's a flashback...

I'm pumped for Metroid and Golden Sun... maybe Glory of Heracles, but I have to hear more about this one.

I'm still catching up but, wow. First Metroid M and now this! Great announcements, that's all I can say.

Anyways, I'm kinda disappointed that Sigma Harmonics wasn't on that

Same here.

I'm having a blast playing TWEWY, it's so much FUN! Love the battle system, the style, the music... Can't comment much about the plot itself since I'm still in week 1, but I'm sure it's gonna pick up soon. So far it's been a refreshing experience.

So it's another guy with a buster blade. Blood of Bahamut protagonist says hi.

"I don't understand why you read so many books, why don't you go to parties like I do?"

Haha, sadly I have a few friends and relatives that tell me the same thing.

Here's mine:

- People that walk in a busy place as if they were taking a stroll in the park. Just move out the way, PLEASE.

EOII - Reached the final boss and was wiped out in the 2 turn. Fun times, I tell ya.

FFX - The game is a bore to play, don't know if I'll rent it again in a far future. And what the fuck was that laughing scene? That was beyond bad...

Ehh, I don't know. Would have been more interesting if it was a full release instead of Dsiware stuff. A Fire Emblem style DQ game? Yes, please.

Yeeeeeeah. How far are you? They become a lot shorter and a lot less frequent after, uh, the blitzball tournament. IIRC, that's the longest cutscene up till like, Suteki Da Ne.

I stopped after Tidus met Yuna, not sure.

Good to know the cut-scenes become less frequent though. I haven't played a game that had so many in such a short period of time like FFX has.

EOII - Retired my Medic, next will be the Protector. The +10 bonus to all stats is very nice.

FFX - Why is that every 5 minutes there is a cut-scene? I wonder if I will be able to, you know, play this game instead of watching it. People weren't exaggerating about this being a cinematic RPG. Good thing I only rented it.

Was about to create a topic about it. G/S was great, the best generation in my opinion. I hope that the remakes maintain the quality of the originals.

The names are pretty lame though. HeartGold?

The real enemy is Gamefaqs and their "BEST ________ EVER!" tournaments.

I remember when the L block won of these polls. It was great. :P

Nice read.

It's funny, but the article reminds me of the Wii. I'm tired of people on the internet claiming "Wii is killing the industry!" and Nintendo fans being like "Oh noes, they betrayed us!"

Glad to hear you're enjoying DQVIII, Akanbe-. Been a while since I played DQ8, but I will try to help.

- I chose staves for Jessica. She learns both support (Kasap, Magic Barrier and the useful Caduceus) and offensive spells (Frizzle, Sizzle).

- I think it is. You learn Holy Protection, which lowers random encounters and the Zap spells.

- I went with spears just because I thought they were cooler than swords. However, in terms of "the best of", swords win. The ultimate weapon in the game is a sword that can only be equipped by the MC.
