I might pick it up after my exams. Unlike Parn, I'm having an absolute blast with New Vegas although it should be said that I'm 14 hours in and have only had one glitch where an enemy started skywalking and two freezes.

How old is your TV? I had a similar problem with Demon's Souls. Since Demon's Souls was NTSC-U, it ran fine on my PAL PS3 (since all PS3 games are region free), but because I was using an old SDTV that was PAL only, everything was black and white. The game ran fine on my HDTV which was obviously new enough to support both PAL and NTSC inputs.

Are you in America? Perhaps your TV doesn't support PAL inputs.

I think I logged over 400 hours on 2ndG. That was before my PSP died so I will definitely pick this up when it comes out here.

Gotta say though, I enjoyed 2ndG more than I enjoyed Demon's Souls.

Anyone waiting for this? The demo was alright as long as you aren't expecting the game to play like Chaos Theory (this has more "Jack Bauer stealth").

That's probably why you aren't seeing many people. I seem to get invaded on a regular basis at SL70.

I have never had a problem with co-op either (It never seems to lag which is a relief). What soul level are you by the way?

It doesn't really mess with anything. I ordered the US version in Australia and I can still do everything fine, but PvP lags a fair bit (people seem to be able to hit you with weapons from a mile away).

Yeah, it sucks. Still full price down under.

I don't usually factor PC in, but if you do, then I suppose you are right and most of those games are multiplats. As for the "will they be any good?" part, with the exception of N3 II, KUFII and venetica I think we can assume the rest will be good. Just because the first N3 game was crap doesn't mean the sequel will be bad (just look at killzone 1&2).

on an unrelated topic, DS looks like it has a very promising line-up this year.

ODST was the best halo game since combat evolved.
