1096  Site Related & More / RPGFan: Site / Re: Holy Shit.....TEN YEARS!? on: May 02, 2009, 10:53:19 PM
Seems like I missed a lot on the forums for my time here. I've been coming to this site for God knows how long, but never really ever touched the Forum section at all until December of last year. Seems there was a lot of fun here. Do I regret missing out on that fun? No. But I Still crack up when I see that 404 page. :)

Growlanser II: Enjoyed giving me the option of overthrowing the kingdom I so respectfully fight and defend. Always been a fan of overthrowing my own kingdoms. :)

Wild Arms II: Enjoyed the music and enjoyed the puzzles.

Grandia: The music if anything. Amazing.

Final Fantasy Tactics: first game I ever clocked over 100+ hours on. I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed of that achievement.

Final Fantasy VI: I liked the cast of characters.

Chrono Cross: Lol, run away from boss battles? What silliness. Enjoyed the game, not so much the number of characters obtainable. Too much.

Magna Carta: I'm lying through my teeth about this game.

Summon Night 1 & 2: Nice story and weapon system.

Eternal Sonata: Game about my favorite pianist and some of the songs were very nicely done, especially one that was Chopin's piano pieces arranged with orchestra. That was cool. Can't wait to give my lecture on him this week or next.

Secret Of Mana: Good game.

Suikoden III: I liked the story and enjoyed the game, especially scouting all the characters later on. Looking to pick it up again for another run. Good times, good times.

Tales of Eternia: It was fun and I enjoyed the battles.

Tales of Vesperia: It's like an empty, but beautiful girl. easy on the eyes and not so much in the content.

There is definitely more games, but this will do for now.

Okay, I didn't mean to personally target you, but I am an egotisitcal person. Anyway, it is a dog eat dog industry, and I am entitled to my opinion. Sorry for any offense caused anyway.

Don't worry about your opinion I wasn't taking it as an offence. You just valued your game and it's nice. I just thought it was funny :)

Besides  you shouldn't abide to this dog-eat-dog philosophy since you're doing a freeware :) And even in the industry it's easier to survive with an altruist attitude especially as an indie developer. A good example, Amanda from Amanranthia, Damian (the guy from Laxius Force) and me are helping each other and it's truly making a 'huge' difference. That's certainly what allow us to survive.

That really is the difference if you want to enter the game market, teamwork and contacts! If I learned anything in my days of booking shows, everything is connected in their respected field, and anything you say and do makes it way around. Being tact never hurt anyone also...

Time to give that game a boot now, need to install that text... would explain the invisible dialog. (haha)

With this much info, I expected the game to come with a case and manual. I'll look into the game, always a fan of playing Indie RPGs.

I'm in the same boat as you guys. My avatar is me from about four years ago.

Your hand seems to be in good shape there, nice complexion and all. You must stop all the sexies in their tracks ;)

My Pic is my avatar. I personally don't care anymore if people know what I look like. I sing in the college chorus and you can see me plain as day as well my name in the program during a performance. It's like hiding an a giraffe in a gymnasium.

Better than being called Gackt again. At least Jackie Chan's a lot cooler. :P
