Go into Yormgen from Phaeroh's Crag, and talk to the sage there, and spend the night. Then go into Dahngrest. There will be an earthquake. To the west, below Yuumanju you can find a vortex to enter the EX dungeon.

The EX dungeon is neat.  I mean it is not fantastic, but you do get to fight new monsters that will add to your monster book.  Plus, for extra stuff to do in post game, if you managed to do a few quests before you beat the game revolving around getting invites into the Coliseum, then the 200 man melee tournament will appear.  That gives you newer monsters and titles to acquire.  Recommended if anybody wants see some "familiar" faces. :)

Some reviews have gamers expressing the same pains as I had.  But there are others that enjoy the game.  Though I am not going to pick it up again.  I hope players that do traverse the galaxy of Puzzle Quest: Galactrix have a good experience with it.  Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be for me.

I know you guys have heard this one.  But at least we are getting the Cross Edge game. (Raises shield in defense).

I am greatful for XSEED as they gave us the newer Wild Arms titles.  No complaints there.

hehe I also really liked how things were so happy and friendly and then went so terribly...wrong.   Yea!  After the end of the first story I just kinda sat infront of the screen thinking that maybe the episodes were numbered wrong....seriously it went from brutal baseball bat beatings to "KEIICHI-KUN!!!!!! *tackles*"

(Nods) Yep!  Darn Oyashiro's Curse.  I was shocked when I watched the end of the first season.  I would love for the second season to make its way onto DVD in the US shores.  I couldn't figure out which characters were the most creepier too me.  The Sonozaki twins or even Rika.  Heck, Rena freaked me out through the whole series.  Even when she was being semi normal. :)
5  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Persona 3 is getting on my nerves. on: March 17, 2009, 08:06:14 PM
It's not cheep because you can defend yourself from those attacks. So long as you are hitting the black blobs before the fight the MC should be going first and than be able to change to a persona that is strong/immune to light/dark.

Megaten games are all about knowledge. You have to know all about your enemy and you have to know how to exploit their weakness and strengths. These are not the type of games you can set to auto attack and go get a drink.

(Nods) Agreed.  That's what I love about the series.  Though I do hate it when you plan out perfect strategies and they just won't work sometimes.  Why?  Because little does the player know that if a certain skill is equipped on the characters then the game will counter it by making the enemies use skills that they would normally not have.  (Cough) Megidoloan!

The review is in for the smashing box office hit.  Or is it a flop?  Go to Animenewsnetwork.com to see what the editor gave the score for the movie.

I can't wait to see it!

Just finished the second season (Kai)  like last week and all I've got to say is wow... At first (majority of the 1st season)  the story really doesn't make ANY sense but as it pieces togethor it just got more and more addicting to me.  Has anyone here watched this series?

Sure have.  That show is great.  I just finished watching the first season on DVD the other day.  I agree about the story being pieced together.  It gets really good when it does that.  Of course, I thought it was just separate stories, but eventually it begins to makes sense.  Kind of.  Oh, who am I kiddin'.  Cute looking characters that inflict pain on others.  Wow is the correct word to use indeed.

(Sigh) I give up.  I tried, but the game just does not compare to the original.  The whole gameplay setup is boring and annoying.  Plus, the characters don't interest me enough to make me care about the story.  I didn't get very far in the game.  Hopefully, the game gets better for those that have the game and managed to trudge through the ridiculous leapgate system.

The leveling's so slow that I thought I was playing a Korean MMO there. :p  Other than that though, I'm kind of surprised that Atlus opted not to handle this particular localization under their Atlus Online division because it seems a rather appropriate SMT title.

I agree completely.  The leveling system could have been better.  I would have played more of it if it was.

There's only one Devil Summoner game out now, and it's $10. It's worth looking into, but the sequel is supposed to be infinitely superior and that's out in about 2 months.

Ah!  Thanks for the information.  I'll see what I can find out about it. :)

I liked Tales of Vesperia way more than Tales of the Abyss.  But both do have their faults in ways, but I agree with the protagonists in Vesperia being a lot better than the previous title.  Good thing Luke wasn't in it.  Oops! :)

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne was my first introduction into the series.  I've been hooked ever since.  Though I have missed out on the Devil Summoner titles.  I just found the original series and the Persona franchise to be more appealing.  But I haven't played the Devil Summoner games, so I can't really say which is better.

I like confusing myself. :)

Since I'm loyal to the series, I'm going to go with Wild Arms 5.  Though I love them all, I think the latest installment would be a good contender as it incorporates all of the classic elements that the others have.  Plus, it has cameos.

But even if the Wild Arms series is not picked, I think Skies of Arcadia has a good shot.  It was interesting in its design and created a new experience for the RPG as taking on the role of a pirate in the open sky world.  Though it does follow with some conventions that all RPGs have, I think that it has the potential to win.

The game is disappointing too me so far.  I don't want to say I had high expectations for it, but the first game was better.  The characters don't interest me and the tedious motion of hacking leapgates is hurting my playing experience.  At least in Puzzle Quest you would just fight an enemy and move on.

But perhaps the game will get better in time. I hope at least.  I agree about the DS controls having a problem.  It is not as smooth as I would like it to be.

Hacking Leapgates are annoying!

Thank you D-Rider for moving the topic!
