I'll save you some trouble:
-The OG Saga games won't come out here because SCEA reportedly wanted them to dub the whole game; which I believe is BS, because Trapt(aka Deception IV) had no English VO, among other games.
Whatever the reason, not happening. The PS2 is on life support, and the plug is about to be pulled.
I think we might still get Endless Frontier 2. More Reiji and Xiaomu is always good. They're the only reason I bought the first one. (See: Namco X Capcom)
And Growlanser, well... we're still bearing the torch, but the prospects are getting bleak. Atlus are too busy localizing PSP RPGs done by other developers to bring over one of their own.
Could also be because of reported text localization issues, but that's hearsay. I bet someone could crack it. If a hacker can do it, why can't Atlus USA?

I enjoyed Baroque. It's fun to play, has an interesting setting, and the challenge appealed to me.
Also, each play unveils more of the (admittedly obtuse) plot.
Not really sure why a game with stellar gameplay and decent everything else gets an EC, but to each their own. :P
Also, agreed on Rhapsody DS not being worth anything. It was the let down of the year, and I loved the PS1 version.

One SMT demon would devour the entire cast of Pokemon.
I really love SJ's music so far. Very ambient.
I think it's funny that so far, Devil Survivor was bloodier. Corpses would have pools of blood under them.
SJ is definitely darker though, especially in language and tone.

I recall when they said they were going to bring back elements from the original games, which originally had me psyched. (I bought the very first Lunar on the Sega CD when it came out, so I'm a little obsessed with the series. :P )
From what I've seen, this is just another remake of the PS1 version.
If they had reverted the ocarina to Alex playing a harp again, I would have bought it on day 1. (And better let, leaving Luna behind when going to Meribia.)
But I've acknowledged that this remake isn't for me, it's for the newer fans, so I'm not going to let it get to me.

Atlus seems to be the only developers series capable of being consistently good as of late. Even the subpar SMTs are still enjoyable at worst.
The stuff Tri-Ace is putting out seems embarrassingly bad, aside from being pretty, but that doesn't take an RPG very far.
Though Half-Minute Hero was amazing. I think as long as developers manage to innovate and not retread old ground, RPGs will be fine.

It seems like every single game they release is mediocre at best. Stereotypical art design, pandering fan service, terrible gameplay(and usually voice acting to go with it, hi Chaos Wars), etc. So why are they still in business? Why do people keep buying their crappy games? And worst of all, why would anyone let them near Sakura Wars V? (They're doing the Wii version, rumor has it.) I'm hard pressed to think of a single good game on this list. Year Title Systems Publisher
