I finished it (apparently losing the final fight gives you the same ending as winning it...). It was all right but fell apart at the end (like, before the last boss you permanently lose some of your party members and stuff, it was ridiculous).

I'd recommend Enchanted Arms. Most people didn't like it but I think it's a very solid, world-spanning JRPG with a very interesting, strategic battle system.

FFX is my favorite Final Fantasy. Awesome news.

If they thought they would make money, they would release more games here. Clearly, they don't. The publishers are in the business of making money, not pleasing the "fandom". Sure, those two things sometimes go hand in hand, but not always. We will see how many people actually buy Tales of Graces when it comes out here.

Yeah, I'm betting on a Vita title. Either a port or one of the lesser series.
People have been joking about yet another Tales of Phantasia port.

If it comes to the U.S. this time, I'm not going to complain.
Which will not, judging how Bandai Namco screw us all the time.

Seriously, reading posts like this makes me just a little bit annoyed. How exactly is Namco screwing you? Is it because they are depriving you of some sort of right you have to play every Tales game in English? Grow up.

Just pre-ordered the 3G version and Uncharted. I really think that Sony is going to kick Nintendo's ass this time around. I have a 3DS but barely played it; the 3D is a gimmick and the lineup is still weak, especially for RPG fans.

Online dating is all the rage in New York City. A lot of people (myself included) work very long hours and at some point going out to bars/clubs gets really boring. There's tons of highly-educated and very successful NYC women on sites like match.com. I met the girl I'm seeing right now on match and we're having a lot of fun.

I played (and finished) LOH II Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch, which is actually the first game in the trilogy, and if you can live past the simplistic gameplay and bland translation I think there's a decent chance you will have fun. The story is OK and the various characters are actually pretty endearing.

Poland Gives President Obama The Witcher 2ís Collectorís Edition

http://kotaku.com/5806531/poland-gives-president-obama-the-witcher-2s-collectors-edition

Obama is playing the witcher 2 on ultra with ubersampling on nasa computers! OK, I made that up but Poland must be pretty proud of the game, I mean, their friggin' president gave the game to Obama! What if his wife suddenly shows up while Geralt is banging Triss? Happened to me yesterday, fortunately I hit the esc key just in time. Let's hope Obama's skills with the keyboard are good. Hm, I wonder if he plays with a controller, he looks more like a keyboard/mouse person to me.

I'm so addicted to the game I'd play it 24/7 if I could. This shit isn't healthy.

My motherland is very strange in that people are really proud of the weirdest things. It's understandable, since there are no Polish cars, electronics or really anything else for that matter, but hey, at least we managed to create a kickass c-RPG!

Yep, the books are really, really good. Are all of them available in English these days? I read them all in Polish quite a while ago and I don't really remember them all that well, I wouldn't mind reading them again in English now.

I sure did play Radiant Historia and I'm not really interested in DS Overclocked (but I'm definitely going to get DS2 when that comes out). Tales of the Abyss is very doubtful given Namco Bandai's record of handheld Tales releases here.

SO4 was an abomination and Tri-Ace is an outdated developer.

No and no, but thanks for playing.

So against my better judgment I picked up a 3DS today because (a) why not and (b) some bad things happened in my personal life (ie. my girlfriend dumped me) and I need something to cheer me up.

Anyway, I also picked up Street Fighter, which is the only 3DS game currently available I was even remotely interested in. I must say that the 3DS is a pretty impressive piece of hardware. I had some troubles with the system update (turns out I had to disable the firewall in my router) but other than that everything went smoothly. The 3D effect is pretty great, although I still think it's a gimmick more than anything else. I also don't think I could play it for an extended period of time with the 3D on without a major headache, but maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it. In any event, I don't think I will be playing the 3DS at all until who knows when....maybe I'll pick up Zelda when it comes out. Are there any 3DS JRPGs announced for the US at all at this point??

Incidentally, I beat Hyperdimension Neptunia last night. I actually had a lot of fun with it, especially with the various events and cutscenes. Localization was also top-notch, I must say.

Just for the record, you can play the Wii version with the classic controller, which is what I did when I played it and the controls were never an issue.
