SJ's random encounters are really fast and they're less frequent than in Nocturne and DDS.

Exactly, especially when you use auto-battle. Not to mention the fact that you can easily decrease the encounter rate by installing a certain app in your demonica.

Fragile is a fucking amazing game that is held back by a handful of gameplay flaws.  Everyone who owns a Wii and considers themselves a fan of RPG's needs to play it at least once.

The question is for how much? I'll most likely grab it if I see it for $20, maybe even $30, but those flaws just sound too bad when there's other games I would want more at the $50 price range.

You can get it used for $30-35, but I'm waiting for further price drops myself.

Beat it last night. As I said in my previous post, it took me a while to get into it, but I once I did I was having a blast. The last two chapters have probably more SRPG than the other chapters combined and some of the battle were semi-challenging, in that there was only one strategy that worked (especially in one of them). My only major complaint was the slowdown in some battles, at least in the Wii version. Does the PS2 version have it too?

I'm 10.5 hours in. I couldn't really get into it at first, but now the characters and the story are growing on me. The proportion of dating sim to SRPG has been like 80/20 so far, but I like it. The SRPG part is fun -- my biggest complaint so far is that the aerial combat can be pretty confusing and it's kind of hard to attack the targets you want, as it seems you have to be at a certain angle to attack certain targets. The dating sim part is silly, but fun. I hated Rosita in the beginning, but she's ok now. I think I'm having more fun because the chapters begin to focus on the more interesting characters now - Subaru and most likely Gemini Sunrise next. The fact that I live in NYC is also making me enjoy it more than I would otherwise, I think.

It's a special "Cyber Monday" deal; I don't think it will anywhere near this price anytime soon.

Amazon has Persona PSP for $14.98 right now if anyone's interested.
