Nice steeds Dark, play any Maiden with those bad boys? Does the sun rise in the morning? Does shit stink? Of course I do. :P Been playing their shit since I was twelve, and I never get tired of it. In fact, I've been known to enjoy playing Maiden tunes more than my own. :P EDIT: DR, that Jackson is sick. But doesn't that middle pickup get in the way if you're doing some aggressive right-hand picking?
Having that pickup there would fuck up most people, but I have the action set up uncommonly high on all my guitars. My pick goes right over the top with a little room to spare. :P And of course, I have very little pick exposed in the first place. Makes for better control with the high-register shit. :P

Yeah, I still play a few rounds of NWN every now and then. I never much cared for the original campaign, but Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark are both fantastic. If you don't already know, the Neverwinter Vault is probably the best place you can go to get user-made content. There's a lot of really good shit to be had there...it just might take a while to find it. :P

So I was dicking around with a Horde alt this morning when someone decided to /follow me from the inital starting zone. Now, I've got no problem doing that if people ask me beforehand, but when someone does that shit out of the blue just to save themselves the trouble of holding down W, then it's totally different.
After he followed me to and around Sen'jin Village, I got tired of seeing him behind me. After getting several quests and shit from the trolls there, he was still planted on my ass, making not a single gesture or word.
I said fuck it.
The first thing I tried to do was train a scorpid on him. Well, the damn thing came after me just fine, but it didn't bother him one bit. Even the sounds of combat didn't make this motherfucker stir from his position behind me.
"Well fuck," I said, "if I can't get an enemy to kill him, then how am I gonna get him off me?"
Then it hit me. Sen'jin is right by the sea. So I dove deep and suicided, drowning both myself and the little bitch.
I congratulated myself on a job well done, then headed back to chat up the herbalism trainer. Within a moment, the douchebag had revived...and put me on /follow again, without saying a word.
But then, as I was putting the finishing touches on a hate-filled whisper that would stun even the people who've seen me in action before, he heads off. Never speaking a word.
...Fucking Horde. :P

So I haven't done a whole lot with my main the past few days. I've been holding off on levelling so the boys and girl can catch up to me and we can run Stockades and BFD and what have you.
Until then, I've been doing lots of mining, lots of fucking around with alts...and lots of battleground action. I think it's hilarious when some person tries to get everyone organized into one cohesive fighting unit, but things break down just as soon as the enemy is spotted. I did managed to get twenty-six kills in a game of WSG though, so it wasn't entirely fruitless. :P
And believe it or not, we actually won a game of Arathi Basin this morning. Yeah, there weren't enough people playing, so the match ended in five minutes. But it counted as a win. :P

You've seen it before: you're minding your own business on the interent when, all of a sudden, you read something about a game you have yet to play that ruins the game for you. Well, we hate that here, so we've devised a method that promotes discussion of new games without the worries of spoiling the experience for someone. Gaze upon the code button, your new best friend. Using the code button is simple enough for even the most dense internet denizen. When you wish to talk about a delicate plot point or anything similar, all you need to do is hit the code button, type out the sensitive material, and hit the code button again. Nothing to it. If you happen to be a visual learner, this example illustrates what a spoiler-laden post should look like as you type it. Once you've got everything ready to go, hit the submit button. You should see a black box around the text you enclosed within the code tags. In order to read the text in these boxes, just highlight it with your mouse. No problem. Now then, with such an easy way of keeping things spoiler-free, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't use this function liberally. Failure to do so will be dealt with firmly. It's a moderator's perogative to decide what is and isn't a spoiler, so use the spoiler block function if there's even a hint of doubt in your mind. If this (somehow) didn't make things clear for you, feel free to PM one of the administrators, and we'll straighten you out.
