Contracts are worth it if you have a family plan of some sort. Straight talk is going to cost you $45/month for an iPhone, plus $15 for the SIM card. They claim unlimited data, but you will get warnings if you go beyond 2G/month and will possibly drop you if you do so repeatedly.

Add a few dozen more rogues to the pile.

One of these days Satan, one of these days.

I think, if you're making a topic about how different you are, and you cite the arrangement of pixels you prefer as an example. . .

There is no nice way to finish that sentence.

I'm not sure what I would do if I actually bet 100 Rogues.

Dying is actually enjoyable.

21  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: How do you like your book chapters? (Thin, Thick, ect.) on: July 23, 2012, 09:36:20 AM
I have no answer. Length is not a consideration when reading for me, unless I'm on the subway and trying to decide what a good stopping point would be.

I have become addicted to 100 Rogues. I wish I had a smartphone so I could play it on downtime at work.

Also, made some progress in DQ IV. Think I am getting close to the end.

I've never played DDR. I kind of want to.

Vegan sandwich was good.

I received a medical bill for about $500 in January. The hospital was in my insurance network, and the services I received are coverd under my plan. I called the Hospital, they told me they needed to speak to my insurance company, and they would get back to me. They did, told me the bill was a mistake, and that my account would be credited. They also told me I may receive a few more notices of the bill.

Flash forward to late April, early May. I was still receiving notices. I called the hospital to verify that the bill was an error and I would be credited. The hospital assured me this was the case, and even referenced the notes on my account from my previous phone call.

Today, I found a letter in my mailbox telling me the account has been placed in collections.

What. The. Fuck.

I know there's been a lot of debate about E3's lackluster announcements, but has any one really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Trading them in for pre-orders will get their most mileage if you don't want to sell them online. Other than that, maybe look at listing them on free websites like Craigslist? Just meet in a public location.

He is on the list of people to read on my quest to dig fantasy books.
I don't know if I could call him fantasy, people call his books weird fiction, which I think is more suited for him.  If you want fantasy books that don't ride on Tolkien tropes I recommend GRRM A Song of Ice and Fire and Steven Erickson's Malazan Book of the Fallen.

I've only read Perdido Street Station by him, but I do recommend. It's not as deep as it can appear, but the imagination is fantastic.
Perdido Street station is good, but his post Bas Lag books, Unlundun, The City and The City, Kraken, Embassytown, and so far Railsea, are REALLY good.  And Embassytown(which is hardcore sci fi) is incredibly deep.

I think this is why I'm interested in him. ASOIAF is okay, but I'm not floored by it. I've been looking for weirder stuff, the kind of books you're likely to find listed under Appendix N. Mieville is too recent for that, but he at least seams to be coming from a totally different direction than most post-Tolkien stuff.

You ever realize that nothing's really stopping you from shoving your hand in a garbage disposal, or forcing gravel into your ear canal?

I think that's one of those things you have to want to do. If not, that's probably what's stopping you.

Started working on a new song last week and am maybe 30% done now (lyrics are missing verses and choruses) and a breakdown/middle part. At this point, it's stuck in my head, and I feel like a douche humming my own song.

It's funny only because the human mind can process each of those words simply due to the first and last letter. If I were to wrtie a sentnece by revresing a few letetrs in each of the wodrs, eveyrone cuold still genreally read it fine.

I only read the 1st and last words of your posts.

It's fine.
