I wonder how much of that is our getting older and how much is the technology not having anymore breakthroughs to make(Or rather, it hasn't been making any). 8 bit changed gaming since it was such a step up over atari. Then two gens later it's 3D and cutscenes. And it's mostly just been adding more polygons from there. I guess a nod to dreamcast for being the first to go online. But not really much since then except gradual refinement.

Basically it's time for consoles to become sentient and rise up against us.

My cunning plan of waiting to pick it up because I knew the servers sucked has backfired as everywhere is sold out.

I'd heard someone say he's been wanting to since Mononoke.

Everything was better in the 90s. Even message boards where you could only view one post at a time and that post had auto play midis embedded in it.

Does he get sealed if she makes him Beetle Juice 3 times?

Hey some of my eBros are telling me that SMTIV is really easy. Is that true :(

It starts hard. The hero scales too well though and later on will one shot or near one shot random encounters. Unless you were to intentionally spread your stat points out as thin as possible anyway, which would be more in line with what your demons get.

Arcanist has it kind of nice since you don't really need to make that choice. Hit scholar for the instances and swap to summoner for everything else. Leveling two jobs for the price of one.

Well, if you wanted to make Yoshi the Producer cry, mission accomplished.

That should be two separate options. I wouldn't want to not be able to find any hearts. But I'd definitely want double enemy damage. Everything's such a lightweight anyway in zelda games. Double damage would be like being able to upgrade to 'normal' difficulty.
72  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Dumb Laws (the site that never fails to amuse me) on: August 21, 2013, 03:30:19 PM
Illinois, first will start with laws that I don't think are dumb.

It is against the law to have sex with a corpse in Illinois

Sex offenders in Illinois are prohibited from participating in holiday events like handing out candy at Halloween and Easter or dressing like Santa at Christmas, except under specific circumstances

Maybe the candy's a bit much, especially depending on the crime. But do you really want a sex offender santa?

I don't really get why these are on the site. But for the good ones...

You can drink under 21 IF you're in a cooking class.

Fuzzy dice on your mirror are not only tacky. They're a crime.

The english language is not to be spoken.

Well, the crafting system sold me on the game. It's really neat actually.

I can see it being awesome if you have +1 things you want to make for yourself or for profit. Lots of room for micro and maths there. It kind of stinks for leveling. Most notably because it's not fixed exp. If I try to mass produce brass ingots I get 250 exp each. Try and make them 1 at a time as quickly as possible and it's 500. Put in the full effort to try and hq and, even if I don't succeed, 1000-1400 exp. Which is clearly what the exp to level is balanced around so it doesn't feel like you're rewarded for that extra effort.

Oh yeah, on the subject of the music, set your 3ds(not the game) to stereo instead of surround and it'll sound better.
