360 is perfect as long as you don't need the D-Pad. If you do it becomes godawful. I don't know how much better xbones is. I know they wanted to put in a less shitty pad, but half the problem feels like the positioning. So gotta give it to the dual shock for overall usability.

Although for dpad/analogue positioning I will give special mention to the N64 controller. While not a great controller having seperate handles for for the dpad and analogue was kind of genius.  It was just wasted since N64 didn't really have 2d games or rpgs to make use of it so nobody noticed.

'Think maybe we should break character?'
'Nah, I'm sure it'll all work out.'

A few of the fumoffu eps are pretty bad. But when it's good it's fucking great. The haunted hospital, Sousuke not giving a fuck and Chidori getting pissed at him for it is my favorite one.

In other news, Jojo Punched the Shark this week.

I'm sorta just sitting with my mouth partially open when I just found out that Jojo ending used "Walking like an Egyptian" by the Bangles for its ending theme.

And given the style and 'swankiness' of the show...and the 80s... it's almost a perfect fit.

I miss Roundabout. But I can't deny, it fits.

Pacing is feeling pretty slow this season. And it seems a lot more by the book battling, where last season Joseph wasn't afraid to break the rules and bring a tommy gun to a kung fu fight. Or a fighter plane(I hope old Joseph gets some moments this season, I know he's like 70, but he hardly seems like the same guy). Still, Stands are hella cool and it sounds like they just get better as things go on and instead of 'this one has a sword' and 'this one punches fast' you start getting stands with some really weird powers.

Maybe if they want people to do PvP they should make it a bit more diverse than a single circular room with two walls in it.

If they added lots of battlegrounds, gw2 open world siege maps etc, would people want to pvp anyway? Granted I've been down on the idea of mmo pvp for a few years now, but xiv is the last game I'd want to pvp on. It's just so clearly not built with pvp in mind.

He's not going to mean to, it's just going to happen. And he'll probably feel awful about it.

But Zidane is SO going to cheat on you.

First episode of Mushishi s2 came out and I didn't even know it was a thing that was happening. With Jojo also out should be a good weekend.

Hated the end of How I met Your Mother. And I'm not really sure if it's so much the show or a problem with how I perceive fiction. Being aware that things happen because someone wrote it to happen.

That Tracy didn't die because that's life and sometimes bad shit happens. She died because the writers killed her off so they could force Ted and Robin. First, Barney doesn't get Quinn so they could put him with Robin, a relationship they already established that doesn't work. And then Ted loses his wife to put him with Robin, a relationship they already established doesn't work.

But if me more or less accusing the writers of murder is perhaps a bit unfair, there's still 2 other problems. One is just that Robin isn't a very good love interest. The other is why would you introduce the audience to the mother before the very end if you were going to kill her? She was really the only good thing about the whole season. So if you get me to like her you're steering me in the opposite way the story is going. Maybe I'd have thought it was a clever twist if I didn't actually know the mother.

I'd still feel bad for Barney though.

Chapter six you should do
white mage and monk
just for the scene at the end of it.

When I changed the voices to japanese for a bit and heard Tiz it was like...yep, same character. And in a way that didn't feel like a forced impersonation. Looking at you Agnes. Liked japanese Ringabel more, but english Edea is better.

In chapter 4 and hearing the next chapters being compared to
Endless Eight

I'm really scared.

I really like salve maker and how it's competent beyond ffvs 'mix is OP, but I hope you have a spreadsheet handy'(Potion + phoenix down is pretty sweet though). Good passives, manufacturing attack items with experiment is cool(And another of those abilities that works well specifically because of the brave system) and first aid is the kind of heal I'd like to see more of in rpgs, a preemptive one. And if you want to mix stuff with compound some of the tooltips pretty much tell you 'mix this with a elemental item to lower resistance to that element.'

In fact, the tool tips in general in this game are pretty great. Hit x and they give you damage formulas, tells you stat caps for buffs and debuffs, tells you how many turns things last and if there's exceptions to the rule with how something works it tells you. This is information I want games to give me. I want to know how things work and I don't want to have to go to gamefaqs to find out.

Anyone else's damage output take a nosedive in Miasma Woods?

I definitely noticed attack magic getting shitty, physical not so much. When I got the 2nd tier elemental attacks it was pretty strong again, but I'm not sure if black magic is something I want to invest in now. I mean, with the brave system spamming 4 firas is 60mp and they'll probably be back in a slump again before I get the tier 3 magic. While a swordmage could just spend 15mp once and be good for the whole fight.

While it hurts black mage, bravings nice for other classes though. Utility like sword magic or stealing is a lot nicer when you still have 3 attacks to kill everything and they don't waste a whole turn.
