Nope - Linderman shot him at the end of last season, and he died from that.

It's a assumption that he died from that. Granted, it's a pretty good assumption. But at the same time games, tv, movies and books have all taught me not to trust a death scene unless you see it firsthand because they just love to go back on them.

Yeah, mondays episode was great.

 One thing I was worried about when last season ended was having nowhere to go with the characters who mostly got a lot of closure in season 1. But they've all had stuff going so it's been a good season so far.

 The exception to this being Nikki. Her being there just feels really forced. She ended season one in control so why is she checking in psycho now? Ignoring that plothole how does she go from patient to spy as Mohinder's partner? Hopefully it's just a sloppy start and they have something planned for her.(She said Bob killed DL when Matt's dad was in her head, hopefully he did and that wasn't just part of the illusion)

'Waited for the dvd' uber bump.

I had low expectations with all the negative reactions the movie got, but ended up really enjoying it. Only big weakness was Sandman. He was one dimensional, but this itself wouldn't have been too bad on it's own. There was lots of other stuff going on and they made his powers impressive enough so just being one dimensional alone would have been fine. Not like sandman's a big fan favorite anyway. But yeah, breaking into a apology for no reason after beating the living shit out of spidey moments before was WEAK. Spidey being the better man and forgiving him would be fine, but it was a horrible way to set it up.

Other than that, liked Spidey being a dick(And the fact that he was kinda being one BEFORE he got the venom suit). Liked Harry and him eventually coming around. And loved Topher Grace's anti-Peter Eddie Brock. And the action was good, so thumbs up from me.

For the halloween event I loved the witch hat thing. It looked better on my mithra than 95% of the real helmets.

 Though any nostalgia of my cat running around town in stylish hats goes away with that valkurm emperor screen and how it kinda represents the whole game. Ok, not ALL the nostaligia goes away, but that's what soundtracks are for.

For customization in general what I'd like to see in games are two things. One keeping characters in their archetype(Or archetypes, as some characters can fit more than one.), two having actual choices to make rather than 'give everyone everything' where going down one road closes off another, either literally(Think seiken densetsu 3) or just by not having enough points to get everything(Think world of warcrafts class trees).

 I mean, is the ability to give a character like Auron or Basch black magic really customization? By that I mean, is anyone actually going to try to use one of these guys as a backline caster? Instead of that why not give them more options as fighter's? On the reverse if a game has easy access to healing magic is it really customization to give it to all your characters? That's what EVERYONE is going to do.

 Keep characters in their role, but give different options to fill that role.

 With all that said though, bad customization doesn't kill a game alone. FF12's board for example was one of the worst systems, but it was still a good game. While a singing dark knight cecil or a healing Kain certainly seems odd, that alone isn't going to kill my interest in the remake.

Well, they can't just take back SO3's plot twist. I've no interest in 4 because I won't be able to hold suspension of disbelief on a series that acknowledges that it isn't real in it's own plot.

Ironically they'll be fine. They even adjusted raging rush to use the same crit mechanics as rampage.

Reading up on it I think my thief would cry sad mithra tears if I still played. Two handers have needed fixed for like two years, but it just looks like a ridiculously lopsided buff combined with a nerf to one hand potential damage so it can't possible keep up. And thieves were already struggling to keep up.

I just wished they didn't raise the level cap

 I think it's something that needs to be done. Exploring and questing needs rewards and experience is it. If the expansion were to come and the cap was the same going through the new areas would just be something to ride through as quickly as possible on the way to a town or dungeon. With a raised cap you'll play the areas as you work towards getting more talent points to go down expanded talent trees.

 More importantly the clean slate is something I think MMO's need now and then too. Otherwise you get something like FFXI..a game that never changes.

 For losing out on dungeons like black temple, a expansion would mean I'd never get to see it, but then would I ever get to see it either way? It'd be great if I was wrong, but I think that the answer is probably no. But then, assides from missing out on having big name bosses, I'm perfectly happy with 10 mans as long as they can keep rolling them out.

Another level cap raise is good. People bitch about it over at the official forums, which I can't get(Except in regards to making it harder to have alts. Though that is solvable by reworking exp from 30-60, something people have been asking for anyway). I think wiping out MMO endgame is something that needs done now and then and a ten level raise does that.

 I just hope they don't have, or minimize anti scaling stats. Seeing my crit plumet as I supposedly got stronger didn't make me too happy in TBC.

 Death knight I don't know about. I think I would rather have had hero classes be extentions of current classes once they hit max level. Death knight can only be overpowered or a disapointed because it isn't overpowered.

Edit-Good to see Arthas/Lich king though. I'm glad they aren't 'saving' him for the next RTS a few years down the line. Now, let's just advance some plot with more then quest text..

The only reason 2D games were made in the first place was because they couldn't do 3D. Ok, someone said they had 3D games back in the 80s so to clarify, they couldn't make 3D games without spending ten times as much only to end up with the looking even worst than they did in 2D.

For my feelings on 2D vs 3D, the only thing that really stands out is I like 2D platformers and don't like 3D ones. As far as RPG's go, I couldn't care less(Although if you make a 2D game on a console rather than a handheld I think effort to make it look good needs to be put in. Otherwise you're just charging me double for a DS game that I can't even play on the can). If you've got a good 2D rpg I can enjoy it. If you've got a good 3D rpg I can enjoy it too. A 2D castlevania plays different then a 3D one. A 2D rpg doesn't play different from a 3D one. It's just a visual style.

The current generation of games has its shining stars, for sure, but they are needles in a haystack.

Well, when you compare to old gen you're comparing to several years. There weren't any more needles back then. Just a lot less hay. There were 2 good rpgs a year maybe. Then a bunch of games that never got brought over and bad rpgs that were forgotten or that we'd never heard of in the first place.

The first Disgaea was like a huge feast. It's great, it satisfies you and when you're done...you don't want anymore. 2 came and went without me really caring even though I LOVED the first and now 3 will.

 And seriously, it's a niche series so why would you put it on a console nobody owns just to make it look like that?
