what caught me off guard is how a system with potentialy one of the worst launch lineups ever is garnering so much popularity. all during christmas break my brother was trying to convince me as to why the wii is great and i just dont see it. also its not that i think the controller is stupid,its that i fail to see its potential applications in the type of games i like without changing them to fit the wiimote. i just could not imagine a game like psu with the wiimote. currently theres 2 wii games i'm interested in and both use either a gc or classic controller. i think i'll pass on trauma center i dont think ive ever fully enjoyed a game that didnt involve some kind of violence or competition. heck even when i was young tetris bored me within 5-10 minutes.

if you are familliar with street fighter and/or guilty gear mechanics the kof series is really easy to pickup. whats cool is i think newer instalments use the Garou mark of wolves version of terry. i cant vouch for its quality but a lot of people seem to love melty blood. you should be able to download it on the internets. if importing isnt a problem i like the rumble fish 1 and 2. they are made by the same company that made guilty gear but its closer to street fighter than guilty gear. the characters are redered with polygons but still look 2d. avoid capcom fighting evolution its garbage so is snk vs capcom chaos.

when i said hardcore gamer i refer to people whos main hobby is gaming. some people play warhammer others rice out thier cars some pimp out there sound system. i typically spend at least  4 hours a day gaming so lol wii sports would probally bore me in 5 minutes. my contempt for nintendo comes largly from the gba connectivity bullshit they pulled on gamecube. after sega stopped making consoles i thought nintendo would be my new safe haven. instead i traded it in torwards a ps2 a system i frequently ragged on as a dreamcast owner. lol grandia 2 anyone?  nintendo has to do a lot if they want my buisiness back however they way they are going now it seems they dont want it.

so far im enjoying this game and i prefer adell and rozalin over etna and laharl,and i will enjoy throughly kicking laharls ass in the endgame areas. the only thing that pisses me off is after you meet the requirements for a new class you have to pass a bill at the dark assembly before you can use it. so far i like the beastmaster a lot and im typically not a fan of using monsters. if you want to see something hilarious use a cellphone in battle.

isnt there supposed to be an NIS game coming to ps3 as well? the one Asagi was designed for? i remember reading it was in development for psp then was moved to ps3. Asagi appears in makai kingdom and disgaea 2 and is referred to as the next protagonist.

xbox 360 will probally get buried in japan once devil may cry 4 and ffxiii come out. not sure how mgs games do over there but you can add that too.

i think the wii is the first nintendo system i've disliked. i dunno as a hardcore gamer thats been playing since the nes days whos typical gaming session lasts about 5 hours the wiis pickup and play for 20 minutes then put it down style just doesnt fit for me. i'm also very concerned about what will happen if the wii beats out the ps3 and xbox360. are hardcore gamers a dying breed?

i got this game as a gift today. even a decent game that i didnt have to pay for is quality.

how could you not like SD3? unless you are a casual gamer that plays like an hour a day(lol!) SD3 is easily the best of the series.

wild arms 3 is made artificially longer because of the stupid search system. wild arms 4 travel plays out more like FFX

as much as i hate the DS i would buy one in a heartbeat if a fire emblem game came out for it.

it will take a lot for me to care about this game since DQ8 was a steaming pile of antiquity. the last DQ game i played before DQ8 was DQ1 and it seemed like almost nothing changed thtough 7 installments. plus i still hate the graphical style. and again why the hell is the DS so damn popular. the success of DS and the hype over wii makes me feel threated or as if i am a dying breed of gamer.
