Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

if you think combat is boring and dull theres seriously no hope for you. i actually quickly got hooked on leveling photon arts wich gives them more combo hits. plus as you progress you gain acess to more weapons such as my current favorite twin claws.

doesnt anyone think the 360 rpg from tri ace might be somehow related to star ocean? the only reason i ask is because last night i unlocked music mode with battle trophys and the music that plays at the star ocean title screen is called "into the ocean of undiscovery".

just beat the game. the edge was kinda trippy on my eyes. playing these games made me want to see more of what happened in the earlier games but they are just too archaic. i stopped playing ps3 after i attacked with rhys and all i saw was a cut line on the enemy.

im currently replaying FFT as well and i just noticed something peculiur(sp?) that i never noticed before. the game suggests that barinten the weapons dealer guy raped/molested Rafa or at least did something very innapropiate to her. considering its age thats a very adult concept for an rpg.

in the abscence of a real shining force game fire emblem owns. the only thing i dont get is why the fire emblem game with Roy in it wasnt released here but its prequel was. and Lyn owns.

just beat the game and my overall enjoyment was negatively impacted by how much i cherished the first game.the character designs are pretty lame compared to the first game as well. oh well bonus dungeon time! the song from the maze of tribulations is called journey to deep space or something and its also in VP1 and radiata stories. could be in star ocean 2 but i dunno since i never beat that game.

i think the fact that i played i pso first makes it a little more neat because all the cross references. like the tinkerbells dog quest ,the cake shop ,psycho wand,eclipse torch. theres also a few enemies centaur/choas bringer, chaos sorcerer um the witches look sorta like dark berlas,grass assassins. some aspects of this game appear to have influenced psu as well such as skills plus the way wren and demi get new skills sounds similar to SUV's in a way.it will be interesting to see if the landale in psu looks similar to the ps4 version even though the games supposedly take place in alternate universes..

i picked this game up at a garage sale this past weekend for 50 cents lol. all i have to say is wow this game is amazing especially considering how old it is.im currently about to go to the sky castle and its already one of my favorite rpg's. its holds up amazingly well considering its age. i kinda want to import the ps1 remake now too =o

why do people think this game is good.... i picked up phantasy star 4 this past weekend at a garage sale for 50 cents and its almost a 12 year old game and imo it kicks the crap out of DQ8.

the thing about dragon slayer is a pretty lame complaint.it wasnt meant to be used in normal combat. seriously go swing that puppy at the dragon in cave of oblivion(a monster that can 1 shot your guys in chapter 1)and watch what happens.sadly i dont think it works on the guy that drops levantine.
