just finished the game and am starting my second playthrough. not since XS3 has a protagonist managed to piss me off so much.

skits annoyed the hell out of me so i eventually turned them off.....it boggles my mind why you cant press X to advance them. i cant put my finger on why but they never annoyed me half as much in tales of symphonia. i had some other minor gameplay related annoyances as well(such as how long it takes to rotate yourself on the world map)but those come from constantly holding the game up against ToS. despite all that the game's combat is fun and rewarding plus theres a bit of second playthrough goodies.

some of my greivances could also be the result of the game being on ps2 wich is technically inferior to gamecube.

the problem with this logic is that as a group caucasians have never been oppressed. i could call someone a cracker and they probally wouldnt react but if someone calls me GENIAL MEMBER OF ETHNIC GROUPS THAT ORIGINATE IN THE AFRICAN CONTINENT OR CLOSEBY THEREIN with malicious intent its like a bull seeing red.

as i understand it TP has better story at the expense of moving the gameplay forward. i did however like the segments where you play as the wolf.

i think the reason some of the bosses look similar is because they all look almost aztec in design. even though some may look similar though they are all completely unique in how they attack you. zelda bosses are incredibly tame in comparison.

shadow of the colossus is a masterpiece. seriously it is an example of gaming art in my opinion. because of this game i want to try Ico but have been unable to find a copy.

actually all the action rpg shining games are outsourced with input from overworks. shining force neo is made by the same company that made record of lodoss war for dreamcast. as for the VC,i'd be a lot more interested in this had i not just recently finished the gba remake of shining force 1. Narsha owns! power ring effect as a spell? to good.

i never played the oracle games but one of the things i really like about minish cap as opposed to the console zeldas is that for the most part the weapons you get feel new instead of rehashes of old standby's. the point i was at in twilight princess it just felt like OoT with new stages. also i think length can be relative when comparing a 2d game to a 3d game.

this is the best zelda game ive played since majoras mask though in twighlight princess i was in the water temple when my gamecube died. still i think this game is fantasic. the second i got the vase that sucks in and blows air i was hooked. they should let capcom do more zelda games =o

i believe video games are art. however i believe it's a mistake to compare videogames to books or cinema,or even paintings and the like. instead i think a better comparison is architecture.

i disagree with this because when multiple ending are well done in video games it not as simple as good ending/bad ending 2 great examples are valkyrie Profile Lenneth and um castevania(the one for gba where the main character uses a sword) also if there is multiple story arcs it doesnt cheapen things because the one that resonates most with my own life will mean more too me. as an example in arc the lad twilight of spirits Darc's story meant more to me than Karg's because i know what its like to be the victim of racism and/or intolerance.

One thing I thought was interesting was the story had an emphasis on crystals again....which we haven't seen since.....what, FF6?



i realize most people here have not played it but FFXI has heavy emphasis on crystals. there is even a conflict in the ffxi backstory known as the crystal war. in the next expansion we get to go back in time and experience that war :o imagine that a game by members of the chrono cross team featuring time travel.

Eusis he/she may be refering to the fact that OGS was delayed by nearly a year. OGS was announced months before Super Robot Taisen W but came out almost half a year after W.
