Actually, my biggest complaint about Grandia 3 isn't the difficulty, but the way holds your hand through EVERYTHING. Every dungeon is accompanied by a complete minimap, so the sense of exploration is totally lost.
minimap = win wasting hours because you are lost = fail
the best rpgs ever made are adyn chronicles,and quest 64 for nintendo 64. ^^;
in all seriousness dont play makai kingdom unless you are prepared to invest hundres of hours,because frankly the game sucks till you get to the point of getting secret characters.also if you get the bad ending with pram on your first playthrough you are fucked.
maya is not controllerable. plus raquel's swordsmanship is one of the things i liked about her.especially when you fight that that boss that has control over time.female melee powerhouses are rare in rpg's. besides that i think i saw some of myself in raquel wich made her easy to connect with.
