(I really wish the mobile version of...Final Fantasy Tactics would get ported to the VITA).

...w...why? War of the Lions is already on the Vita...

I guess what I meant, is that the mobile version has absolutely no lag, where Final Fantasy Tactics: TWotL, on the VITA, is just the PSP version that has the lag.

Sorry to bump this old topic, but instead of creating a new thread, I figured why not continue to discuss the game here.  Has anyone downloaded and played Terra Battle? I despise mobile games, but I just can't stop playing this. Everything from the brilliant soundtrack, awesome enemy designs and addicting combat, is just awesome.  The story seems bare-bones, but I'm really enjoying it and I believe the game has been downloaded almost 600,000 times, and if it gets to 1.5 million, Yasumi Matsuno and Yoshitaka Amano will put some content into the game.  I will say, that this is the best mobile game that I've ever put time into (I really wish the mobile version of Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy Tactics would get ported to the VITA).

As much as I love Dark Souls II (DeS is my favorite), I'll be glad to finish the final DLC, as I think the "Souls exhaustion" has finally set in, and I need to take a five month break, to get prepared for Bloodborne.

I figure if the pop-up cuts load times and all, then I'm for it.  Plus, it's stylishly done, kinda like a pop-up storybook.  I also like being able to select one of the main characters then meeting others along the way, kinda like in the first SaGa Frontier.  I remember once renting SaGa Frontier just to see how bad it was and ended up enjoying it a lot.  I played for 3 hours straight and only stopped when a friend called saying he wanted to hang out.

And I'm willing to bet that the majority of players will choose either Filmia (the frog prince) or Eloise (who sticks her booty out like Dragon Crown's sorceress.)

As long as it's not like Lute's quest in SaGa Frontier where you're given no direction and could potentially face the final boss in 10 minutes, my interest is piqued.

Heh, the game is called LoL.  Legend of Legaia was LoL too.

Man, SaGa Frontier was so damn good (it came out at an interesting time, too).

I hope a physical soundtrack is released, because just after listening to the first song, I'm hooked.

I'm on board with this project for every reason except the title, which is the Worst Title I've Heard All Week. It's 1990's level "hey let's throw together two words that sound like fantasy! AWESOME WE HAVE A TITLE"

I kinda like the title, as it sounds cheesy, lol.

The track on the official site sounds like Hamauzu going back to compose for Sigma Harmonics. IMO, one his best works.

I completely agree. It also reminded me of some of his songs from Musashi: Samurai Legend. I bet that this soundtrack will be stellar :D

A new game is in development, for the Nintendo 3DS, and it's from former members of Squaresoft; count me in!
Having Masashi Hamauzu (Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XIII, SaGa Frontier II) as the composer and Masato Kato (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Chrono Cross) working on the script, will be an instant purchase (as long as it's localized).

I hope the final product will be better than Origins-Downpour; absolute garbage and yes... I'm a Team Silent fanboy, lol. The western games are considered fan-fiction to me, since they didn't properly get what Silent Hill is supposed to represent. Anyways, as for P.T., I thought it was creepy as hell, and I know this won't reflect anything on the final game, hence, they left the disclaimer at the end of the demo. I have faith in Kojima-san, since I've enjoyed all of his games and I think he has a vision of what the fans have been wanting and that is the horror of SH 1-3. Just please, no damn ghost stories like in Downpour or anything representing a damn Pyramid Head. I would like if the Cult is re-visited, but there really isn't anything left to explore; that story was wrapped up completely with Silent Hill 3 (my favorite). What would be amazing, is if Akira Yamaoka returns to Konami, to compose the soundtrack/sound effects and bring back Masahiro Ito for the creature designs.

I've known about most of the findings in that Pop-Fiction video. I've been following Nomad for years and it's cool to see him being talked about :)

I actually meant to type Project Morpheus, since that is related to Sony, but yeah... many are clinging on to hope, that this game is still coming out (I still do, since the game was revealed too early). I mean, I still cling-on to Shenmue III, and it's been 13 years ;)

That would be a pretty terrible idea. Plenty of games would benefit from a VR gimmick, but TLG isn't one of them. That is of course, unless they decided to turn it into a 1st person exploration game. If that's the case, then it might work as a Project Morpheus title, not so great for a spiritual successor to ICO though.

I totally agree. I highly doubt that is the case, though. All that I keep hoping, is that development shifted to the PlayStation 4 (makes the most sense), and they probably... maybe, started from scratch (what we've seen of the trailer from 2009, might be completely different). Now that the PlayStation 4 has a nice install base, now (Tokyo Game Show) is the perfect time to re-introduce the game. Although, I'll probably be let down... again :(

Some have even speculated, that it will be an Oculus Rift title (I highly doubt that), but many defend that notion, saying SONY wants to show off what Oculus can do, so that would be a perfect game to do so.

Even if it's only a speculation, it does sounds like people are grabbing to any kind of hope they can only to see the game alive. Then again for all the times Sony hasn't shown The Last Guardian to the public (in who knows how many E3 and TGS events now), there's always that sense that the game is gonna come out and is gonna be worth the wait.

It's so hard to get into games like Destiny, when I have a stupid backlog of games, wanting to re-visit older games, work, and dedicating a huge amount of time, to online games.
