1  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: RPGFan Podcast Thread on: January 26, 2012, 03:05:03 AM
It's been awhile since i've posted but I'm looking forward to a Final Fantasy Retrospective Podcast.  Would this cover games like Final Fantasy Tactics, or just the numbered ones?  I would love to hear everyone's input on FFT.  I know i'll be in the majority here but after playing through all of the Final Fantasy games, V always comes up right near my favorite.  With the soundtrack being one of the best and the atmosphere.  People don't really care about the story and characters but something strange about that game that I really love.  Plus, "You Can Hear The Cry of the Planet" in that game.  Anyways, as always, keep up the great work.

Kinda funny how this topic showed up for me on my new replies page as I got fired last Friday.  Five years with Richmond Shared Services and they get rid of me because i'm full time.  I've noticed alot of companies are only hiring part-time employees.  They don't want us to have benefits and insurance and etc.  I think I should join occupy wall street, j/k.  I'm sick and tired of being a number but I guess everyone is to an extent.  I just don't understand how I make only about $700 every two weeks when CEO's, whoa ll they do is crunch numbers and sit at a desk all day and get paid double, maybe triple that I make every two weeks.  I was doing all the damn hard work, making the hospital look good with productivity.  I'm done and college is out of the question as I would have to move to do something with my life and I don't have that much money.  I guess I shouldn't have bought the Sega Saturn and $2000 of goodies back in the spring. Good thing I don't have any children yet.

HIJACKIN' YOUR PODCAST FOR OTHER PODCAST!

Just wanted to let Random Encounter fans know that the most recent episode of my tiny podcast, "The Jurassic Hour," is now up. It's 90 minutes of me interviewing John McCarroll (RPGFan EiC) and Michael Cunningham (RPGamer EiC). Makes for an interesting discussion.

Hmm, I can't get this to play for some reason.

I just finished Dark Souls for my first time.  I'm already on my NG+ run.  Is the final boss a beast in this NG+?  I beat the final boss in less than 10 seconds :(

Overall, this is probably my favorite game in the last 10 years and I own over 1000 games.

As always, another great podcast, I hope the interviews continue to grow as they are always good to listen to.

I know this has been discussed but, what are the chances of Xenoblade, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower to be released on the WiiU as launch titles in the US?  I mean, the console is close to being released in some aspect, hopefully this Summer, Nintendo knows how bad the North American market wants these three games, if that were to happen, how about them release a little unknown title that also got shafted in the states called Disaster: Day of Crisis.

Would be awesome to see Gradius V on the PSN soon.  Too bad Konami canceled VI on the PS3.  Let Treasure work on another Gradius title.

GTA III was simply superb, Vice City blew me away.  I had some what of a good time with San Andreas.  GTAIV was decent to where I did get 100% in the single player campaign, then I lost my saved data.  Never got to play the expansions but I have them on my shelf.  GTAV, I hope brings me back to the GTA III/Vice City days.

15  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: MGS, SH and ZOE HD collections announced on: November 16, 2011, 03:45:29 PM
I remember I got MGS2 for the Xbox for Christmas in 2003 I think.  I owned the PS2 original but I was in an xbox phase because of the origins of Xbox Live and how the xbox versions of ps2 games if there were any, just looked smoother and better but MGS2 on there was a disaster.  I went back and bought Substance for the PS2.  I got the Limited Edition of this for the PS3 just last week.  Once I finish Dark Souls, I may start this, but who knows when that will be,lol!
