Nemissa's magic attack is ridiculously high. Just adding one point into magic raises her attack so much.
Doing 600 something damage to bosses with a basic magic attack spell is pretty funny. |

I would totally drop the 220ish on a used DS + Soul Hackers if my backlog wasn't already huge :( Here's hoping the game doesn't become impossibly rare by the time I do finally get around to getting a 3DS.
Hey, worst case scenario, there's always the eshop. Better hope your (used) 3DS doesn't break, though! |

Pre-ordered Soul Hackers earlier. Looks as if I can pick it up at midnight on Monday night thanks to that Injustice game or whatever having a midnight release. Fantastic.

I can't see anything wrong with the video at all. I'm very much onboard the "shut up and take my money" train!
People were only worried about the earlier interview bits. There's always the possibility that they'll still do stuff in-game to disappoint us (I almost count on it actually, it's just a matter of how extreme it is), but it does appear they're staying quite true to Demon's Souls and Dark Souls thus far. Yeah, we're not in the clear just yet, of course - as much as we'd all like that. But the video looked just fine. I'm still going to just... pretend that everything will be okay :3 |

Oh my, the gameplay video is just over 20 minutes away. Rookie move. Who uses a bow on a giant monster when he's that close! WHY DOESN'T HE HAVE HIS SHIELD UP!?!?
I like how my first thoughts when looking at that screenshot also amounted to "what in the world is that guy doing" before "look how cool that is", too. Hahaha... |

In other related news, did you guys read the transcript from this morning's Live Letter. 16-18 instanced dungeons at launch. Crazy.

My birthday's coming up this week, so I went ahead and bought myself a new processor (Intel Core i5-3350P - will replace my AMD Phenom II x4 955) and motherboard and case. I've been wanting to do so for a while and figured I might as well go for it given the occasion. My GPU's an Nvidia GTX 460 1 GB, so that's in no real need of an upgrade. Looking forward to seeing my improved performance here and in other games :3
Pardon the double post, though it's a follow up. I got effectively the same score with my new CPU and only 6013 (roughly 200 above) after overclocking it a bit. So, hey, the game certainly is GPU based. More news at 11. I got nice performance boosts elsewhere, mind you, so I'm quite happy with my upgrade. |

New dev blog is up. Magitek armor mounts anyone? Goddamn, is that ever cool shit. Certainly have this on my radar still. The other few friends of mine who played with me / us are still on board, too, as a side note. Additionally, the Gate of Nald, which was originally sealed off, will be opened. Best change ever. |
