Just finished Lost Odyssey.  Ending bitching:

Did they ever say why they actually came to the world?  Was it just to help stabilize the world?  Even if there is a reason, was there ever really any benefit for them to come over?  How did it benefit their old world?

I also hated the scene after where Seth and Gongora went into the portal.  They acted somewhat sad like Seth had a "death sentence" I believe were the words.  WHAT-THE-FUCK?   Weren't they originally half planning to go back to their world because they didn't belong in this one?  Regardless, glad to have beaten the game and can put it away for good.  I don't really feel like doing much of the sidequests =P

Who cares if he can't grow a beard?  I'd love to not have to shave every day.

I played online for 4 hours last night. GTA Race is a hoot!  The virtual internet is a laugh as well. I wonder how many "hidden sites" will start popping up?

It feels like that mode is especially ripe for griefers.  Cut ahead of people, find rocket launcher, cut through town to get infront.  Sit and kill.  Or can you not do that?

Tales of Vesperia and Disgaea 3.  Between those two games and work, I imagine I will be pre-occupied gaming-wise for a long, long time.

I like cracked but fuck, I wish they'd put all the damn things on one page.  It's laziness on my part but still.

Couldn't agree more with #6 though.  One of my major complaints about a lot of games now a days is that they feel too long (ex: ookami, zelda: tp, etc).

Finally beat DDS2...The storyline could've been fleshed out better, maybe I can find some of the extra details on Wiki or something.

That's how I felt too.  Still one of my favorite ps2 games though.  I did indeed find a lot of details on Wikipedia and other sites that clear stuff up nicely.

Well. Not true. I care enough to not want the Pens or Wings to win it.

Crosby is Jesus on iceskates.  The talented ones are always hated...

I agree with you on the Wings though.  I've always hated them the most, but it looks like they'll probably win the cup.

Also, that sucks Marshmallow.  Sorry to hear that.

Man, Persona 3 is easy when you know what's coming. :P  If it weren't for a stray Hama, I wouldn't have even seen the game over screen yet.  I'm digging these new fuseable weapons.  I just wish I could find one for Aigis.

I'm about halfway through September now.  I managed to max my social stats in August, so it's nothing but social links from here out.  I'm working over Yukari right now, even though she reversed on me for absolutely no reason the last time I talked to her.  What a bitch. :P

I found that happening if I would talk to a girl s-link (say, get them to level 1 or 2), then ignore them for awhile for someone else.  That always made them go reverse for me.

or if you cancel plans

Still?  Even with the install?

DJ Antoine - this time (klaas remix)
Luminary - Amsterdam (Super8 & Tab Remix)

I don't really listen to this stuff (trance) other than when I'm sitting by myself just browsing through the internet as background noise.  Fucking WoW got me into this shit so now I listen to it occasionally.
2336  Media / Single-Player RPGs / A quick question about Persona 3. on: April 29, 2008, 11:12:48 PM
Just don't fuse the demon cock persona.  It's that easy.  When you are fusing persona if you see a "Mara" pop up, just dont hit x.  It's possible it might be one of the random ones you pick up on the floors during your ascent.  If it's that way there's not much you can do until you pass those floors.

And I'm pretty sure you can connect your PS2 to your PC monitor.  No clue how though.

Yes, we all know 25 years in prison will make them learn their lesson when the death of their daughter won't.

Goddamn fucking stupid people piss me off. Reading about these kinds of people really bring my piss to a boil.

They're probably still saying some shit like, "we must have just not prayed hard enough". That kind of shit pisses me off.

I used to hang around people like that and you're pretty much right.  It's more or less the holy rollers that tend to do that, but the more normal ones also tend to say things like, "It's God's will".  Really your mileage will vary depending on who you talk to.

Never have been a GTA fan, but IV is pretty fucking good. Graphics are great for an open world game.

Yeah, that's what I'm feeling too.  When I finish this semester, one of the first things I'm going to try to do is find a place to rent it (even if I have to go to Blockfister).

Anyone run into any of the freezing problems yet?  or know someone who has?
2339  Media / Single-Player RPGs / A quick question about Persona 3. on: April 29, 2008, 10:57:45 PM
Mostly the evoker stuff if you ask me.  There were some anime fanservice-y type scenes in the game (two come to mind) but both were mild and showed nothing.

On violence, there was a couple bloody scenes towards the end.  Nothing too vivid or disturbing if you ask me.

However in episode aegis, there's a persona that looks like a giant demon cock.  Other than that, there's nothing that unacceptable.

I bought Pokemon Pearl last night and I have this feeling I'm going to get hooked on it. Pokemon Red for the original Gameboy was the only Pokemon I've ever played.

I used to play that game.  I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but if you want hooked up with some level 1 starters I think I can trade a few to you.  I have a bunch of charmanders that sat in my bank for awhile.  Might be useful to you since in the normal game, there are only 2 fire pokes, one being one of the starters and the other one sucks ass.  </nerdy>

Disgaea - I'm still leveling up anyone who isn't Laharl. I'm on the last stage of episode 6, but my characters are too weak to beat that stage. Love this game, hate the grinding.

Oddly enough I didn't mind any grinding until i hit the extra optional chapters.  Thank god Disgaea 2 improved on the grinding aspect a lot (more stages to do it on) and made things easier in general.  I really hope Disgaea 3 improved it a little more.
