Oh well, at least I can still do, what I supposed will be considered from here on out, "the old raids". I would still like to go through them all and get all three of the current tier sets. Not like they'll be worth a damn in BC, but who cares. At least I'll be able to say I did it.
Good luck finding people to do it. It'd be such a time waste and a headache with the random loot table of MC and BWL. Time spent doing it would be better served learning the Karazhan and 25 man encounters. I know it's just for the hell of it and for the accomplishment, but it might be a bigger headache than what it's worth.
Also on average:
60-62/63 BC dungeon blues >
63/64-67 BC dungeon blues >
67-70 BC dungeon blues/epics >
Also there's to mention the mysterious "Patchwerk hitting for 14k" in BC. Not sure if that number is a hateful strike or not. This could and most likely is a bug due to the ? level of the monster. In past it's always been said that they are +3 levels of you / 63. You'd assume they would stay that way or do they scale? So far it's seems like they scale. That's what is showing so far. I haven't looked that up in a long time but I'm assuming it's a bug or something intended to keep people testing the BC stuff and not old stuff. Who knows if it'll be fixed/changed.
edit: looks like the scaling only applies to some of the bosses
edit2: apparently they changed the mitigation for BC and now it's changed to: armor/(armor + 782 + level*85 + 382.5*(level-60)) = mitigation
Heard Patchwerk is/was hitting for 1k-2k higher now on live realms. However I just saw a blue post saying there was a hotfix for it. I don't know if it's for the live realms to take him back down to his old hits before the change in mitigation (back to 1k-2k less per hit). As far as I know, this hasn't changed his damage output in BC yet; just live. Not sure though.
Oh.. and I found this funny. Fucking people need to learn to be more flexible.
"In other news... one of our priests quit the game tonight because he was so distraught over the changes. He had grown so hopelessly dependent on the mods that he simply could not function without clickheal, EM, auto-interrupt, and decursive. Personally, I'm delighted these changes went live, but I thought that people would find this interesting for academic purposes."
