ah yes, THAT ability.  On my priest when I wasn't in an end game guild (but we had lots of 60's), we often did ZG.  We had 2 priests generally, me being 1.  So I do remember getting that ability a couple times.  Never found out it's name because I was too busy healing (we weren't that good =p).

When i actually went to an end game guild, i wasn't anywhere near main healer so i didnt ever get to see that or what it was.  interesting.  i see the problems it can create.

I see the problems for Shams too.  Since they're getting a review as well in the next patch, maybe that will help them out there as well.

edit:  It has to be getting nerfed when they do this.  It's a last tier talent for a reason.  They have to be putting it on a longer cooldown timer, nerfing the amount of mana regen, or something.

i personally enjoy how 50% of the time I go to the forums that anyone links to I get:

We're sorry but there has been an error with your request. Please try again later.

Mother fucking turtle.

therefore, i wish i knew what you guys are talking about.

edit:  Now I do, finally got access.

I really don't know what to say.  Maybe I didn't find the right post.  It's just that innervate is a regular druid ability (non talent) at 40, right?  Even though I've done some end game, I can't say i'm that familiar with them.  Our guild never had more than 2 druids on any run we did (maybe 3, i just missed?).  Just aren't that many on our server.  I wonder if this has anything to do with all the bitching and crying that was done when 1.1 was announced and all the druids and shaman cried "druids will be obsolete now!!1"

Okay, bumped cause of this.

Apple is making a nice smart decision here. They're easily going to have a 10% market share by end of 2008, methinks.

heh, this is funny because a few of my friends who know i like macs, emailed this to me through the course of the week.  they were so quick to hate on macs before, but now they're like.. "hmm.. they have some nice audio and visual editing software... maybe ill buy one now".

This crap is still going on? I stopped playing WoW more than six months ago (on EU servers admitedly), and one of the reasons I left was because of constant server problems. Login servers were down, zones crashed, the mail system wasn't working, characters got stuck in loot position and so on and so forth. Not to mention that each and every time there was a patch the servers would be down for a few hours more than planned. There were always some "emergency fix" that had to go in before they could start them up again.

Yep.  1.10 patch just went live almost 2 weeks.  Everything you described pretty much happened after the patch.  I'm guessing the weather had something to do with it, but I know shit about programming so it's only a guess.
2735  The Rest / The Helper Monkey / need DDS2 boss help on: April 08, 2006, 05:35:19 PM
This is for a boss 2nd time in the ecc/ogg (or something) place.

I can't beat Heat.  I don't think he's supposed to be that difficult, but right now I don't have argilla, who was my main healer because she died (if she didn't, i don't want to hear otherwise).  So, i'm stuck with Cleo healing, but at this point he only heals about 80 with media, which is not nearly enough.

Anyways.. any strategies on beating him?  I tried using fire ward, but I still get pretty fucked up and I imagine it will take too long this way anyway.  I am learning a mantra with Physical Resist with Gale right now, but he's not that far into it and it's a level 5 star mantra.  Any tips at all?  This game has been on hiatus for awhile because I haven't been able to beat him, but I want to try and start it back up again.

.Blizzard has had almost a year and a half to get their system running correctly and in the past three months i havent seen one week go by without major problems like "OMG UNABLE TO CONNECT CUZ OUR SERVERS ARE BROKE!" or "OMG RANDOM WORLD SERVER CRASH! TIME TO REBOOT IT!"

Fuck Blizzard. Sorry guys, I'm done.

I agree.  It's ridiculous all the lag and server issues they have.  A lot of things are beyond fucked up (Dm & Hunters -- that's all that needs to be said).  I am very close to quitting myself.  I will definitely quit by the time summer rolls around (when in summer, i don't know).

I hope the expansion comes out soon because I promised myself the day it did come out I was going to quit.  So hurry up blizz and release a buggy product too early (don't worry it'll fit in with the rest of your shit blizzard and probably < .1% will quit over it) so I can quit sooner.

I also had a 60 priest I was raiding with, but I quit him because I couldn't take all the lag at night.  I realize some was client side, but a lot was server side too.
2737  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Suikoden V on: March 28, 2006, 09:56:09 AM
Even though I haven't read any of the pages since like.. 4 or 5.

I did pick it up eventually.  I don't care about the bonus.

This game is teh win.  I'm only 6 hours into it and I can't recall when the last time 6 hours in a console rpg went this fast.  I really like it, though it has some technical flaws that im sure has been mentioned.  But I got over them.
2738  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / WoW Priest 1.10 PVP video on: March 22, 2006, 10:27:34 PM

Seriously.  that blew my mind.  What the fuck kind of gear/  trinkets did he have?

I noticed he had a shitload of buffs too.  One, i noticed was the power infusion buff, which is nice.  It looked like he had about 5-7 touch of weakness buffs.. which is odd considering it's a self buff.. any idea?

Also i didnt know they removed the holy nova countdown.  pretty sweet... very sweet actually.

just... wow...
2739  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Suikoden V on: March 22, 2006, 09:27:42 PM
I almost pre-ordered this just for the artbook and cd (of course i want the game too, but the other stuff is really nice).

After hearing all this, i'm glad I didn't.  I am practically out of money until the end of the month.  I'll just pick it up then.  I hope it's good.
2740  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Final Fantasy XII on: March 17, 2006, 09:44:29 AM
Pretty interesting replies about the people who have imported the game.

I suppose I'm looking forward to it.  I have not played the demo but I have watched two people fully play through it.  Considering I didn't actually play it myself, I don't know what to think of the fighting engine.  I did ask the people who I watched play the demo what they thought and they both enjoyed the battle system.

After being dissapointed with Grandia 3 (not a bad game, just didn't live up to my expectations), I'm hoping FFXII comes out better. Thus being said, I feel like Square-enix will deliver with this title.  So I guess I'm looking forward to it.. just not with any fanboy zeal.

I've been watching Earth Girl Arjuna lately.  I've only watched the first 4 episodes, but so far it's pretty good.

Ceres is coming out with a 2 separate set boxset that i very well might pick up too.  I'm looking forward to that.

Oh, and nerf paladins. :p

Having spent QUITE a bit of time PVPing and playing with some of the best-geared Pallies on the server (including one with Ashkandi and full judgement, and one with Thunderfury), I can safely say that paladins are not underpowered like everyone wants to believe. Hell fucking no. When I see a JoC crit for like 1500 after a 1300+ SoC Crit and a similar white-damage crit done on a regular basis, that's massive. The boosts to Righteousness will help mitigate some of the 'randomness' factor to their damage in PVP too? I dunno.

Yes, but those are the best geared ones you're talking about.  However, that is very good considering the how they still can heal them selves and shield themselves.

I'm a cloth wearer myself, and when I had a 60 paladin hit me (he had Zinkroth (or whatever it's called), destroyer of worlds), he still wasn't hitting me that hard/frequently.  I actually put him to waste, which was a suprise considering that was my first time fighting a paladin in a non-bg.

Fuck this economy in WoW. Who the fuck sells a DEMON BAND http://www.thottbot.com/?i=3604 FOR 20g?

they always seem to sell shit at the most insane prices.

herbs go for insane prices on my server too.  i believe a stack of firebloom goes for 20g.

Hey guys,

I kinda want to get back into anime, though I'm not sure what is out there anymore.  I'm mainly looking for something I can buy, but I suppose if theres something that is just that damn good, i could look for fansubs.

Any ideas?

I was looking at Kyo Kara Maoh.  That seemed interesting, until I found out it was shoujo.  Something more shounen and action is more what i'm looking for.

thanks ^^
