I give up, I'm not platinuming Senran Kagura. There's just one trophy standing in my way but it seems completely impossible to me. Basically the game has this system where if you send an enemy flying you tap circle to chase after them, then if you do an air combo and send them flying again you can keep chasing them and repeating this. The tophy is to do this 10 times in a row without hitting the ground. The problem is:
1. It's not even theoretically possible to do this until you grind for a while and max out a certain stat because before you do that you're not even allowed to keep air combo-ing indefinitely. Which makes it a bit of a pain in the ass but also leads to problem 2... 2. Once you've grinded enough to get that stat maxed out you've probably hit the level cap and your attacks are doing a ton of damage. Which unfortunately means, at least on normal, none of your opponents can actually survive 10 combos in a row. They're dead well before that and the match ends. So try the match on hard, you say. Well... 3. The problem with doing it on hard is that the computer friggin cheats. It doesn't even react to being hit half the time. Seriously, I've seen it counterattack in the middle of being hit by my attack. This isn't a skill thing, that's not supposed to be possible. The player certainly can't just shrug off hits like that. And there is no way to keep a combo chain going that long if your opponent isn't even being affected by your attacks!
I wasted like 4 hours yesterday trying to get this one stupid trophy and go nowhere. This is why I hate trophy hunting...
Oh, this trophy is a friggin bronze BTW...
I looked up the achievos for that game and holy crap. You weren't exaggerating about the fanservice. Also, out of curiosity (though I'm assuming you did), did you look up topics for this on gamefaqs? Some saying you need asuka, some saying it's possible on normal. I don't know what any of it means but it might help out if you haven't checked already.

Quite frankly, I couldn't give a damn about Hearts and Innocence. It's on an over-priced system and the games look like hell for a Vita title. The fact Baba said he wasn't interested based on the Vita's less than stellar sales makes sense to me. If anything, I'd give up a whole boob to see Tales of Destiny for the PS2 released on PSN. Cuz hot damn.
Agree. Hell, I'd pay full price for a legitimate translated copy. I like Tales of Destiny so I was always sad we never got the sequel. Also heard we missed out on Tales of Rebirth and that it was pretty good as well. I remember someone on rpgfan saying otherwise that it was mediocre, but don't remember why or who. I'd still like to play it though. Might and Magic - Dead Ultima - Dead
Whoa whoa whoa. Back that up sister. You greatly exaggerate the reports of their deaths. It's the best Tales battle system.
Also; ^this. Thirded. One of the only Tales that, like others have said earlier, that playing any character is not only a viable option but a fun one as well. Truthfully Vesperia could have been as well but I pretty much stuck to Yuri or Judith. Tried old-man-bow-user and didn't find it very fun and he seemed weaker.

Maybe this is anti-day One DLC. Like in most games the preorder DLC is some overpowered item that turns you into a god.
In SMTIV it's just a jacket that makes you look like a complete nozzlebox.
Yeah, I agree 100%. I'd like to see some actually cool looking armor and/or weapons (especially since the armor shows on the field). Also kind of funny that we're talking more about pre-order DLC instead of the game that was just released last week. No one like it? I'm enjoying it. Quick load times, quick battles, interesting setting, decent plot so far. Gameplay can be brutal if you aren't keeping up with demon recruiting.

As far as I can remember water is, in a global sense, becoming more scarce as the population of Earth rises. However, that's an issue for us as Human beings to rise up and figure out a solution so as many people as possible can have free, clean water. Not hoard/privatize so only the privileged can have it. I'm getting really sick of people--across the political spectrum--using... tragedy as an excuse to push their shit.
Kind of like how a few hollywood people got their twitter acct hacked and some congressional douchenozzle was all like, "Hey this is why we need cispa gaiz!" cuz fuck constituents, right?

i dont think you get it. the battle system feels dumbed down for kids or something. in abyss you can do a combo of normal hits and change directional inputs at any time during that normal combo then link up to 3 special moves of your choice as longh as they connect of course. in graces many special moves are tied to auto combos. and by the time you get deep enough into that auto combo to do the special move your CC is probally depleted after it so you cant link specials to it. and in the case of a character like sophie many of her standalone specials are healing spells.
LOL. I don't know how you could call Graces F's system dumbed down when all you're arguing is mindlessly mashing 5B 2B 2B 5A 6A 6A in Abyss somehow takes some kind of skill that Graces F's system lacks.

They've got Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy HD remasters coming. Don't you guys know how much time and how many resources those take?
Given your post history, not sure if you're being sarcastic or not. I'd rather new content take priority over old content, but that doesn't seem to be happening. Also BD is just localization at this point which I would assume would put it on a different schedule than FF/KH I'm soft of curious how/why Europe is getting it first. Don't European laws require games to be localized in a few different languages before it's even legally allowed to be released? I don't mind that Europe is getting it first, just seems odd.

I liked Judith quite a bit. Once I got her in my party, I rarely used Yuri after that. She was really fun to use and had an interesting moveset. Also, I'll agree that using a variety of the cast for Graces F was fun. Controlling different party members was fun because they were all fairly good in their own way. I still prefer vesperia's battle system as it's more reminiscent of a fighting thanks to the 2D plane for fighting. The overhead 3D in Graces F made it feel less like a fighting game and more like a basic action game with combos.
I don't really get this point since the options let you toggle the camera between different types of field of vision quite a bit. Between that and the zoom function, you could make the camera similar to games like Verspeia and Abyss. Did you try playing around with the options?

and this is why i now hate nintendo....nothing but remakes of games
I guess you missed the part where it said this was a sequel. I'm quite happy with 3DS Nintendo these days. The majority of the games I'm looking forward to are all on Nintendo systems.

Real men just hack off the limb, Agent D.
Dude, if I lose an arm or my eyesight, I'm killing myself. I refuse to live without the ability to use both hands or see what I'm doing. So you 'dual wield' it, huh? Man, I remember the good ol' days when I could dual wield.... then I broke my sword :( You had two penises? That's nuts! yes, i get the joke.

If they could pull Dallas and move it somewhere else, that sure would be swell. Also, does he need more expensive headphones for that to work? Do cheaper ones come/work with an amp jack? The 70 dollar Sennheisers make everything sound like I'm listening to a radio. What price range am I supposed to look at before things start getting good?
Mine were 120ish and I think they sound pretty decent. I'm by no means an audiophile but they're comfortable and sound good. Sennheiser HD 555

Thanks for the link Dice.
What frustrates me most about this mess right now is that instead of waiting for evidence to come in and covering the facts, various political groups and/or segments of the media (hardly a difference between the two, frankly) are busy throwing blame at each other for the attack. For fuck's sake, have some respect for the victims and take a day off from screaming at each other and focus on covering the facts, finding out new information, and giving people information about charities that will let them help.
That's why I barely watched anything yesterday. No one really (except maybe whoever is on the case) knows anything yet. Guessing shit is annoying and does nothing. I watched some and turned it off until actual facts come to light.

This board is dead? I'd say it's pretty much perfect...
Agreed. It has enough going on to make me visit often, while small enough to remember who most people are. I hate being on boards where the only people you remember are the annoying trolls because it's too large to remember anyone else.
