saw 2012 today and it was a let down.  quite a boring film.  2.5 hours of hurry up and get it over with imo.

basically, the chinese build huge ass ships (arks) and preserve the human race.
4  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Borderlands on: November 17, 2009, 10:52:51 AM
Finished it today. And goddamn, I can't even spoil the ending, since practically there's none. And the final boss sucked ass too, so disappointing, ugh. I don't know if it's really worth doing a second playthrough, or if I should try out another class after playing with Mordecai.

while the end boss was easy (at least for me seeing how i used the soldier) it's to my understanding the devs deliberately left it open for this new wonderful idea called DLC. seems DLC is gonna be how all games are made now. while i don't disagree with DLC in any way, but if games start to depend on it there is NO way the game should retail above $20. especially if i'm expected to pay for new content and/or play incomplete games @ the $50+ mark.

also, patch 1.01 has came out for PC today as well:

    *  Characters that have lost skill points will have the lost points refunded
    * Clients will no longer lose proficiency progress upon leaving a co-op game
    * Item cards now display the intended five lines of detail text
    * Lilith's Phase strike and melee attacks from Phase Walk now function as intended
    * Voicechat: users can now control volume and individually mute players
    * Fixed a bug that sometimes caused CL4P-TP to stop progressing during the introduction
    * Server browser population times have been improved
    * Server information should now always display the correct plot mission
    * Benchmarking feature now works as intended
    * Nvidia 3D Vision visuals now render shadows correctly (requires minimum 195.28 drivers, available from nVidia)

i watched the original series when it came out and i liked it.  like another said in a different forum i frequent old school V portrayed the aliens as Nazi's from outer space.  the way they acted, dressed and carried themselves fit that description quite nicely.  we can only hope it reverts to that once the ball gets rolling.

i'm far beyond 12 my friend.  there's no reason to discuss my age.  lol, if we did study this character in school i don't remember.  he seems interesting though.  as for never leaving my home, well, i'm been to 22/50 states and have been overseas twice.  i've been around.

I've been playing with a Siren myself.  Game's story is practically non-existant, but it's got sweet gunplay and tons of personality to make up for it.  Amazing game.

yes, i enjoyed the dialog in this game very much.  there's a lot of funny tidbits here & there.  scooter might be the best.  this game's all about presentation and sold very well.  devs have already said to plan on a sequel. :p

hrm.  all right.  did not know this.  learn something new everyday.

How old are you O_o

was i asked to read his poems in school? no.  did we ever discuss him in any way?  no.  did i ever think i'd enjoy reading anything about this guy?  never thought about it.  excuse my ignorance on medieval poets that apparently had nothing to do with advancing my life.  so far older than the majority, if not all, of the ppl on this board.

That picture is of Dante Alighieri, the guy who wrote an epic poem called the Divine Comedy, a third of which was comprised of a section called Inferno...
