I don't recommend this game, and that's after playing the original for several years, as well as League of Legends afterwards. Unless you have an absurd amount of free time and don't mind angry shut-ins screaming at you because you don't last hit creeps properly during the first 10 minutes of the game, it's just not worth learning everything there is to know about it. It's a timesink for abuse. No matter how good you are, there will be someone better and angrier who will find something to get upset about. Or, even worse, you could become that angry douche bag. But, yeah, I'm totally handing out keys.

I'm covering this and have enjoyed it thus far. When it's not overheating/crashing my computer. Turned on triple buffering. Hopefully that resolves the issue.

I'm an Engrish teacher living in Tokyo,Japan.
Easy job, I love it but, it doesn't have much of a future. I might just marry a nurse and just live here forever on that.
Japan rocks though. There are so many problems that just don't exist here due to circumstance. They get import games a few days late. I did get Skyrim on 11-11-11 tho. I was happy about that.
I used to teach in Nagano. It's awesome, isn't it? So easy. Do you work through a program or are you flying solo? Of course, I left it for the reason you pointed out--no future there. I could have been content just teaching the rest of my life, honestly, but my ambitions got the best of me. Sometimes I regret the move. I had a lot of friends who became lifers after their JET contract was up (was JET, too). Also, nice royal assassin avatar!

To answer your question: was Diablo 2 an MMO? This can be as MMO-y as you want it to be. Similar to Dungeon Fighter Online, when you leave a town, the instance is your own or your party's. No one can come in and steal crap. In my opinion, it technically is an MMO, but can be enjoyed as a single player or co-op venture. But, yes, sign up for that beta key and try it out yourself.

She's basically just ignorant to the entire freelancing aspect. She wants to do it for a year or two before she applies to doc programs. So, I was wondering how you went about it, etc.

As I prepare to take my license exam, I am doing freelance translation/interpretation. Unfortunately being self employed in this manner leads to shitty benefits so I sent a resume to Lion Bridge.
My girlfriend's looking to do some Chinese translation. She got an internship at the Cleveland Clinic, which is pretty big, but not sure if that'll result in a job immediately following her undergrad graduation. Tips?

Graduate assistant slave. I spend much of my time reading pdfs, taking inadequate notes, or looking for pdfs. Or copying books for class readings. GLORIOUS, I KNOW, YOU ARE ALL ENVIOUS. En route to school psychologist.

For those unaware (I'm unsure if this was posted elsewhere), there is an OnLive deal going on. The first game you purchase there is $1. The catalogue sucks, and the site/application are difficult to navigate, but $1 is $1. Highlights include the Batman games, Deus Ex, Borderlands, King's Bounty: Armored Princess, and some others I can't remember right now, but that's just about it, heh. Limited time, of course.

For those interested in research-based editorials, I've actually been doing some light research in my off time regarding some editorial topics I'd like to write about. Those will go up, just a matter of when.
Also, thanks to everyone who's had something to share about this topic. Positive or negative, I love seeing the feedback. Glad you've enjoyed it!
