I'll reiterate what everyone else said: FE7 is a good place to start. I think that FE8 is a little too easy/forgiving; the only Fire Emblem games I've played to completion are 4, 6, 7, and 8, and 8 was my least favorite of the four.
Bu...but but 8 has awesome implied twincest! We can't ignore that! |

Got the house! Yay!
Bad news: I'm so going to have to buy lots of teacher supplies since apparently a good chunk of it is missing or relocated in storage. Sigh.

In the past week, the following has happened to me:
After 4 years of trying, I finally found employment as a Special Day class teacher.
The next day, I got another job offer. Understand this happens after 4 years of rejections.
Went for the special day class position, and because my lease is up the end of September, I'm actually trying to buy a house...and knowing I will not have much time after this week...yeah.
I'm so happy but I've had a tension headache that will not go away. ^^; I start next week.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, after looking at townhomes the last few days, I made an offer on one! They fired back a counter offer. I will know tomorrow if I'm a homeowner or not.
