I'm real blue Canada is everything BUT mentioned for the CE.  That's like....almost RACISTSheesh (or Nation-ist? Countrist??)  I'm hoping we hear something by Monday.  If not, get ready for me to bug fellow Fanners to be paid for their American-priveldge. D:

Maybe even Commune-ist. :v

Or perhaps this is the price for having retailers breaking street dates like it ain't no thang.

...shit.... karma biting my butt.

EDIT: Shit.  Xillia has me worried in that I really don't think a battle system is going to make me as happy as the pinacle that Graces reached.  Made worse by the glaring flaws in Xillia's battle system from the get-go.

Just saw the SMTIV battle vids on the front page, and I am really digging that boss music.

The battle music was what got me digging DDS from trailers.

God that fuckin' level.

And then an ice world right after it.

AND ANY LEVEL YOU MEAN.

I love atypical cosplays.  That one, the "in-game" Cloud Strife one (blocks), or the Yip Yip aliens are golden..

AAUUUUGGGHHHHHH

The latest ep of Parks was fucking phenomenal. The animal control guys are the best.

I loved the Gerry-jabs following firing them.

Also.. "this is a cat" (it's a ferrent).

I'm also a big fan of the physical comedy we get from Ron Swanson.

I should go and see how much my EB Games loves me.

Haha, CJ got it right, you'll have better luck with a independent store, they're more apt to breaking street date.  The only perk employees get is fifteen-percent off.  Whoop whoop...

I'm excited to play, this will be my first proper shin meg ten title I think (dunno if DDS counts).  I'm counting on the MegTenTards here to help me if I suck...or something... or tell me "I suck" and "go play Sesasme Street for the Kinect!! Craazy ho."

Graces f

Almost exactly 1 year later, after crashing and burning from overplay last year, I picked up and beat it.

Honestly?  Maybe I needed it to sit with me for a while and let it ruminate, but I came back loving it more than I started out for some reason.
The battle system is a TON of fun (despite each attack being brighter than the 4th of July), the skills/titles system is clever and very different.  But what I love the most is the sheer amount of added affects to the titles and the "square-scroll" features (and how you can manipulate it: like with Piggybacking, making the "next attack be added to your own" can help you kill Rocknagong in one hit).
I love how in-depth it all is, and I love when Tales games do more with less characters.  Each character is very versatile and great for different situations.

The dungeons are terrible and the world is basic, and there is generally NOTHING to love about your visit to Zehvert/Fendel (it's dark, depressing, and dreary), but the light-hearted cast brightens it up a bit, and the addition of discoveries make things a bit interesting in that Skies of Arcadia way.  I also love the amount of extras, and I was really happy with Zhonecage's version of an off-beat bonus dungeon.  Overall, a keeper.

The new Grade system was brutal.  Not dying ONCE is an almost impossible condition, and half of the points can be rewarded with spending time with the game -- which counters the points you can get for beating the game in less time (which, me thinks, just isn't worth it).  Some of the INN requests suck serious ass too (Medicine at Warrior's Roost...that's just head-in-ass annoying).  I had a chuckle that you can pay 10 points to skip the childhood arc.  Even the dev's know that it went hours longer than it needed or players would probably want.

EDIT: Anyone else read "Amarcian" as "American"???  I did...and I never learned.

Anyways

Kyuu: everone says that, I might have to watch an LP.  I'm glad Cortana looks a little less plastic-y.

Contact lens wearers: After you take a nap with them in do you feel like you exist outside of time and space when you wake up?

I don't wear contacts, but I feel this way after every nap.

I feel hot and sick.
That might be because the only times I ever nap is when I *AM* sick, and after pulling a 23-hour+ waking day without sleep.

I just ran my first 5K this morning. My time was 27m 51sec, 22nd overall out of 57 runners. Considering this was my first 5K and I didn't really do any special training beyond my normal workout routines, I'd say I did alright.

Detailed results are here: http://lmsports.com/speak13.htm

Congrats Din!!  That's amazing!  I have like -30 points on the vitality scale, I probably would have come to a slow stop, cursed, then walked the rest into last place.  Amazing what you were able to do. :)
Gonna keep it up and add jogging to the list of accomplishments? :O

Thanks!  My new goal is that the next 5K I do, I want to break 24 minutes.  Okay, a side goal would be to snag a date, or at least a number, of a hot female runner.  Sadly, I was unsuccessful on that front today.

You're a charming/funny fella, I'm sure it'll happen. :D
Congrats again, and hope you can beat your time!

Ahhhhh you lucky folk (dice and kevadu) are making me jealous! I have to order (and wait) for everything after volume 2 of AoT!!! (manga availability in my area is pretty poor) and I'm already hooked...

In other (current) anime/manga related business I watched the first ep of Gargantia today and can safely say I'll be tuning into the rest of that. The pretty space battle that kicked stuff off was a wee bit too much sci-fi-flash for my taste (a subjective matter) but everything else seemed reeeeeal promising.

Yeah, I was surfing the net for the first half of Gargantia (generic space combat), but I'm curious where the series will go and I like how they've set up for it with the second episode.  Between that and Maou-sama, it's weird hearing "foreign languages" (made up) in Japanese tongue.

Maou-sama was pretty good this week.  Less funny but expanding the plot to stretch beyond the Mc-Job.

Attack on Titan.  Lovely ending theme, but more importantly was a great addition to the...
Code:
Armored Titan's appearance
.  Fuck they made it cool.
Christa Lenz is like the cutest character ever....for a character in a horror/action comic.
Annie has the best nose ever made for anime (MUTHAFUCKIN AQUILINE!!)

Started watching Parks & Recreation. On Season 2. I'm really really enjoying this show. Gives me warm feels. Not always laugh out load, but it makes me smile over and over and over.

I'm pretty much in love with Andy and Ron.

If you just started SSN 2, it's all uphill because SSN1 sucked by comparison.

Andy is the most brilliantly played idiot, and Ron is (literally) the man.

Archer Season Finale: And once again, Sealab is a giant fricken bomb on stilts.

I love John Hamm for being a hardened ass and confident man on Mad Men... but man, he does so many comedic roles to balance it and it's great when he does.
Loved having 2/3 of the Bob's Burger's kids doing guest voices too.
Code:
I can't imagine Lana in her line of work not miscarrying a baby though...but I do love how any romantic buzz between Lana and Archer are usually killed off immediately with Archer being an idiot.  After his awesome and daring rescue when Lana is about to plummet to the ground, he goes back to talking about his manicure, and his "I love you" confession was thwarted when he regained consciousness to name Lana's baby after him then tease Ray about being ticklish or whatever.  Good form Archer!! x)

Isis is just....inept... x1000.

Got Soul Hackers.

I like how visually pleasing hacking is.

Putting my computer to sleep to build the new one.
If I don't come back soon, either I fucked up or a part is fucked up.

Good luck, Annubi~!!  Hope to see ya back, we think you're super.

Yeah, OK, there were some signs but I didn't really catch on to them.  I did remember thinking that Reiner's escape from the female titan was pretty weird, but I didn't really give it much thought afterwards.  Just chalked it up to the manga being imperfect.  Boy was I wrong ;)

Anyway, after I had already given up hope Crunchyroll managed to snag the license!  Guess the IP holder finally saw the light.  Hurray for legitimate anime consumption everywhere!

Naw,  I'm the same, usually I just tune out everything and even obvious spoilers catch me by surprise.  I just get taken in and think nothing of it and enjoy.

And yay!!
