The reveal of the actual painting at the end is what really sells it to me.  So awesome.

Indeed. Most awesome scene. I'll probably check out that movie now.

You never seen it?
I actually prefer this one.
or this

Oh pointy birds, oh pointy-pointy.

Hahaha that's one of my favorite movies
I'm pretty sure I've taken on the phrase "emotionally erect" into my personal vocab and I've said it a few times here.

Also, the dungeons in this game are hella boring.

Let me go fetch some self-quotes about that... here you go:

The level design of dungeons in this game is simply terrible.
They are: archaic, confusing, too big for their own good and completely unrealistic.

them dungeon designs (it's like a guy ate cheerios, drank milk + vinegar + coke, then barfed on the floor and drew the dungeon according to that)

I think what bugs me the most is, yeah, about a good 50% of dungeons are just an up, down, right, left maze.  But also, the most intuitive puzzle was a battery fetch quest and the coloured floor lasers (which took a bonus dungeon to become actually intuitive and complicated -- otherwise it was just guiding a single white light around).  Remember Symphonia's puzzles and sorcerer's ring?   Hell, even Eternia gave you more eye candy (Phodra is seriously a miserable mechanical nightmare as far as aesthetics go...).  Tales of the Abyss at least gave you some cool environments.

I still want to give Graces a real tip of the hat for having an amazing combat system that, daresay, makes the use of TP (ie; MP) archaic.  I'd actually rather the series follow the CC format again in the next title.

While I agree that in an actual conversation that wouldn't be a good comment to make.  However, if (and I'm assuming) he meant that if we're here to talk and respect (than to piss on) the memory of Roger Ebert, then I guess in the grand sceme of things, it doesn't matter.

Of course....Maybe it's the art-bias in me; I consider just about everything art, and I don't like when people discount anything from potentially being art (even shitty fucking dumb installation art that tries to transcend what art and our boundaries for reality art or whatever the shit.... I hate it, but fine, I'll call it art...to some people >=( ... )

Booted up Tales of Graces f for like the first time since about 10 months..... i hane no idea what the fuck -- forgotten everything.  Anyone knowwhy I'm making gel seeds in my eleth mixer???  I remember saying it was a good idea at some point.

High production rate maybe? if memory serves I think I found it best to make sure the eleth mixer was cranking crap out as much as possible... I found myself either producing things out of either A) necessity or B) to increase the mixers level due to the production frequency. I would venture to guess that "b" is the answer to your question.

then again the eleth mixer in the scope of things was really an afterthought for me so my memory of its utility is foggy. the game was plenty easy enough without even needing to exploit the mixers' function.

My eleth mixer was always loaded up with books (including somme that increased its growth rate in various categories) and a couple foods that gave nice bonuses mid-battle.  Otherwise I didn't bother much...

Yeah, I think that's what I've been using the seeds for was to boost it up, I think/remember that sounds about right.

Thanks guys~!!!

Arcadia Garden was quite the place to re-learn everything I had forgotten. D:
They should at least explain or give you a map to that place.  The last "wall" was probably the meanest trick to pull (walk back into it?). GR.
I was also happy that when I swung around Back to Nazi-ruled, Communist-like... um Fendel that it was doing better.  The music hadn't gotten any more cheerful, in fact, I'd argue it's the most depressing track I've heard in years, but the people are doing better~!!!

EDIT: Hubert's Mystic Arte.... he is TOTALLY saying Instant Balls, isn't he?

Also, the dungeons in this game are hella boring.

August 6th is fast?  That's nearly two years since it came out in Japan...

And voice recording was done since November, meaning them voices we hear are almost a year old.

Furthermore, unless the Gamestop emp did something personally awful, keep in mind it's our head office that's made up of monkeys that are picking and eating the bugs and other crumbs off each other's backs.

Attack on Titan was pretty great.  I hate to be "one of those" but I do think it's better going into the anime with the manga in mind (available in the US or wherever you get your manga).  For a creepy, sad, yet hopeful story, the PG-13 vibe of the anime doesn't really hit at the same emotional gravity and overall fear the characters experience (of course, this is one episode, we'll see what happens with the next episodes) . Nevertheless, the artwork is great and the production values look pretty top-notch.

I don't recommend much, and I've loved the hell out of what people have recommended here, so this is mine -- please watch, but also read, Shingeki no Kyoujin/ Attack on Titan -- it's really intense.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were localizing Xillia 2 in parallel with Xillia (after all, many of the voice actors are the same) so "Tales-filled year" could imply a Xillia 2 release later this year...one can always hope, anyway.

I think it makes the most sense too.  I'd go so far as to think they may have Xill2 voice acting done while they could get a hold of the vice actors or schedule them again or something *shrug*
