The dungeons had a chance to be really clever.  But yeah, everything else was just...crap.  The Locomo [?] was the most pathetic excuse for "convenient magic people" I've ever seen.

I liked the final 1-on-1 with Ganon, something about a final fight with just the basics has a touch of class to it than some odd demonic abomination.
Midna still makes for one of the more interesting, unique, takes to character companion the series has yet seen.  What the fuck were the on with Fi is a different story....

My shard was green... like, you guessed it, HEEERRBBB> :D

My health has been shitballs lately. Feels like my whole body is falling apart. I'm not even sure what the hell to do anymore. It's really starting to to take, not only a physical, but also a mental, toll on me. I basically live by the moment now. If I feel OK for an hour I'm happy, and try and take advantage of it. Too bad even that is asking a lot. Forgive me if I sound like I'm whining, but I'm not. Just putting the facts out there. It feels good to talk about it sometimes, even if no one wants to listen.

Sucks man, I know exactly how you feel.  Just keep your chin up and try not to dwell on it too much.  I know it's hard to do, but it's the only way to be happy.  If you feel the need to let off some steam or complain about it, feel free to send a pm.

My mum has fibromyalgia, she's a mess because of it as well.  She tries a lot less, but then again, when you're exhausted and in pain a lot of the time, it's kind of hard to tell too.  I remember you saying you have it, is that what the cause is???

Work, got called in, yaaay, munnies.
After.  Weed and games. Fucking. A.

The plot
Code:
unfortunately abandons whatever it was going with by that point in favor of more Ganon.

I totally agree; but it's hard to deny him EVER looking better than in that tittle.  I loved his corn roll things and gold ornament.

I thought aesthetically, that game was the best, bar none.
6125  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: What are your Final Fantasy memories? on: August 11, 2012, 11:39:30 AM
FF4 - I was too young to remember the day he bought it, but I remember my brother playing it, and which bosses were a pain in the ass (yup, four fiends being one of them).  I remember how much he loved the music, particularly the overworld (for this and even moreso for Terra's theme in....).

FF6 - My bro got it Christmas Day and didn't open any other gift beceause he ran downstairs to start it up.  I basically watched him play through all of it, I was...about 6 or 7 at the time, so when I played it, it was his file and to go to towns (I didn't like fighting!).

FF7 - we rented a PSX back when you could rent systems from Rogers Video (now, both renting and Rogers Video are even services).  It was stunning. That opening FMV~.  They didn't give us a memory card, so we played till we died; which was the first Reno fight where he can trap you in death-pyramids (yeaa, we didn't know how to break free).

FF1 - we played this at my mum's goddaughters house of all places.  Ah...beep beeep beep beppb eepb bepbepbep (the opening theme).  They had the weirdest fucking games.  Some Disneyland one, Dick Tracy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit...etc.

FF10 - came out around Christmas holidays.  It didn't stick with us because it was so cheesy.  I took it up a few months later, and oddly, ten titles later, it was the first FF I actually beat on my own. The ones before I completed with some Game Shark code (I was young, sue me).

I had a dream I was pregnant once.

Daughter w/ no wife?

MAN I NEVER GET LAID

If it's any consolation, I remember saying stuff to the effect of: "I can't wait to have one of my own".  As I get older, those weird "mommy" instincts start attacking me.  MUST.  RESIST. TILL... OLD.
Bleh I'd be the worst parent...

Just a minute sweety, I gotta find a save point!

Meteo shower this weekend.  I wish I had some weed. I'd take a ride out to the country and look up.

Been having headaches with the whack weather going from sun to rain and back again.  I got mah "medicine" for it.  Didn't know about the meteor shower -- damn that sounds brilliant.

Meanwhile, speaking of you, you were in my dream and you had a daughter with no wife.  I think it was sweet?
Then I dreamed of mobsters. :D

Word of the Day: "Negroidly", for all the wrong reasons.  Ohhh man.

Probably. But I could certainly show my guest a better time than TGI Fridays.

Any bar works.  Enough drinks and you don't even remember where you drank from

Is not really a joke per se, is just Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist looking funny.

Great series that everyone should read or watch.

Haha so should you apparently. x)

Love Yodes' pic.... I just can't help but question if it's real or not.
6132  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Xenoblade or Final Fantasy 12.. what's your preference? on: August 08, 2012, 12:33:14 AM
Weird... between everyone here poo-poo-ing FF12 and praising Xenoblade and chattin' about it for 50+ pages... you'd expect less polarization?

I don't know.  I kind of want to give FF12 a shot again.... quite frankly, the style of gameplay for both bores me. An online-esque game that isn't online just doesn't work well for me.  That, and something about games that require a major investment of time and effort and grinding...*groan*.  Certain games I have no problem investing the 80+ hours, but some just aren't all there for me.  I did love the world of Xenoblade more, though.

some people on gamefaqs are suggesting a certain former persona villian plays a role in P4A and possibly will also be present in Persona 5. P4A only refers to it as malevolent entity.

No one knows anything about P5, so I don't know where this speculation is coming from. Characters don't usually carry over from game to game in the Persona series unless they've been direct sequels like P2:EP and P2:IS.

I'm curious about this though; P3P had no problem putting Vincent in the game before Catherine was announced.  So I'm wonder if we'll see Librys [sp?] again.

The Making of Resident Evil 6 -- 6:20min (IGN)

I have this feeling I'll enjoy RE6 as much as I did with RE3 and 4.

Code:
Can't unseen the Giraffe getting a blowjob from the logo though...

I adore how they're dividing up the play styles to be reminiscent of the previous titles in their own way (Chris = action [RE5], Leon = Mystery [RE1&2?], Jr = Pursuit [Nemesis], and wrapping it all up with Ada Wong).

I'm really looking forward to this, ta hell with the demo players.
6135  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Recently Viewed Movies Episode 2: The Vampire Bites Back on: August 05, 2012, 12:30:11 AM
@Grim, I agree with you for pretty much most of it. Although I did like the inclusion of
Quote
Talia
, I feel like the reveal could have been better. Though there were clues in the lead up to it,
Quote
Bane saying that "Everything has gone as planned" when talking with the board member who used Wall Street to make Wayne enterprises lose all its money and install him as chairman, even though the plan all along was to have Talia seduce Bruce and install herself as chairwoman. Also the scar we see on her back at the sex scene suggests something a little more than what we have seen of her up until that point.

The reveal itself could have been a little bit better I spose.

Spoilz now marked....

Quote
Bane has a similar scar as well.  Don't they do a "burn-initiation" ceremony in the League of Shadows???
But yeah, I knew something was up the second they showed the scar on Talia... movie's can't be subtle when you know the tricks of the trade.  When they showed that nuclear device: "Oh gee, I wonder what's going to threaten Gotham this time! >____> "
Poor girl, that's two for two that Marion Coulliard has been a villain in a Nolan movie. x)

Anyways, I was more disappointed with Bane's "reveal".  About two minutes after you find out that he was the "protector" he's shot dead pretty damn quick.
