And i like you for it! :D

There's a lot of Volleyball chicks with really nice asses (ones that may turn Goosey straight for a second) -- a sport I should consider, the quick movements are probably a great exercise/sport.

It's BIRTHDAY WEEK!!!!!

Officially tomorrow (thanks to those who wishes on Fake Birthday though =) and spreading the celebrations out between family, friends, works people, etc. across the week.  Happiness. :D

I'm just attracted to totally hot redheads and Asians.

I like Asians, but the only ones who like me back are the too-nerdy-for-words type.  There's this incredibly cute and awesome Azn who comes by EBGames... but he's got a smoking hot girlfriend already: nice, cute, funny, gamer (quadra-threat).  Ah well.

Yodes, it's time I shared with the world...
Carb-killer.  I love making rice (my awesome way) and sometimes eating it on tortilla bread.  Don't ask.  But it's good (and it's good for extra food when I'm about to work).  Short form: Rice sammich.

I think you're looking at it slightly backwards Dice. Yes it is 'weird'; but more on the point of it being 'modern' than 'medieval'. A judge is under no obligation to go easy on anyone. They have no obligation to bargain. The fact that he presented this option is actually a 'modern societal mercy'; allowing for a lesson to be taught more directly (and really; more gently) without handing down a full blown punishment. Medieval would be 'I don't give a damn what age you are or if you're guilty or not; this is my court, maximum sentence. No arguing. Next case please.'

You didn't see medieval judges go 'Well; you are a heathen. But you'll only get 300 days in the tower instead of being burned at the stake if you tear up your seditious literature.' XD

I meant medieval in the "eye for an eye" look at it.

That was a weird punishment... I don't know how I feel about it though (something about it sounds really medieval too; today you usually just pay some crappy find and move on).

I agree the 11 year old was wrong -- but she's fucken 11, kids do crazy stupid shit when they're kids.  And it was against a 3 year old; how much do they really know or care about what's going on with their hair really??
Well, you have to show kids HOW and WHY hat they did was wrong, not just that it was wrong.

What better way for them to understand than having what they did done to them?

I cost my dad a LOT of money this year.... a fine can work as punishment enough, at least when you're that age to "understand the value of money" and all that shizz.

I don't think I'd be upset with a haircut punishment... just I think it's a weird revenge punishment for something that doesn't feel like too big a deal in the first place.

The entire thing feels like much ado about nothing since I'm in more of a "it's hair -- it grows back" angle of thinking.  It's not like the mum at first raised a stink either, she "reluctantly agreed", but nothing more.  I think mum and me are looking at this as a "wtf" since it's not very standard practice.

I don't like the judge pulling this though:
"I'm going to give you this option: I will cut that by 150 hours if you want to cut her hair right now," Johansen said in court."

Kind of weird to bargain a sentencing through reprisal hair cutting.  Again, it just sounds medieval.
Quite frankly, a smack on the ass was enough for me to feel sorry; courts take long enough to settle matters as is.

I'm not for or against what happened otherwise -- it's just weird.

Now I remember that it has been more or less 2 years since I read in Siliconera about those remakes of FFV and VI for the 3DS. Wonder if that is still a thing.

DS limitations probably stopped it for the time being. With the 3DS I'm sure they're re-evaluating it.

Fucking hope so.... we got fed like 4 versions of FF4 in the current/previous gen.

Which reminds me, was Toy Story reallllyy that great??  I liked enough, but could never love those flicks.

Wow, IIRC and between Famitsu's grade, that's a new high for the series.

Please NISA. I know I ignored the Arland series (save Totori, which I traded in a week later), but please consider this series!

Curious statement.
Thoughts?

(I say it's accurate, though FFIX is pretty high up there to me too).

But I will say FF7 was the last game that made me feel like this:

(granted, it was my first big "3d" game, so that probably turned up it's awesome to 11).

If that counts as BAD PSX 2D, I can't imagine what's good, so yeah, I'm shenrious. :)

I can see his point, they don't have a lot of frames of animation, especially compared to the sprites in the two Breath of Fire games which are beautfiully smooth.

The standing animation looked fine, they sort of bobbed on the spot or whatever, and it's to a scale that not even BoF hit unless it was for bosses (SF2 has a pretty big character roster).  Given the budget and the fact it tried to work with some dynamic (the sliding around), not even BoF did that (BoF3 was two directions, front and back, then mirrored to hit the opposite angle, and BoF4 was just everyone "facing off" in one direction -- and also, they're an exception of high quality 2D sprite work, not the standard... come to think of it, has SquareSoft ever done outstanding 2D work??).

Wow, am I the only one who likes the big-sprite battles?

Dice-  isn't Tri-Ace working on some 3DS dungeon crawler? which reminds me, I still need to play Resonance of Fate.

They did.  And they did a PSP game.  Both of which were less than stellar which is really disappointing for a bias fan, such as myself, to hear.

I'm hoping a lack of announcements right now means they're doing something for the PS360.

SaGa Frontiet II: though the sprites aren't all that great.

Are you mad???  Did you forget about the "HD battles"?
