Played through the El Shaddai demo and while the gameplay is pretty standard stuff, I think the visuals are simply stunning. It's a shame that it will be mostly overlooked by the general gaming populace:(

I thought the multitude of different outfits (I watch, didn't play, so I might be wrong here) reminded me of what a Megaman game could be (or something like that).

FemShep. She was kinda gothy looking though.

Easy way to ruin a pretty face.

Made a visit to World Market today, got some beer, some weird soft drinks, weird snacks and some nice candies/cookies, gotta relax some tonight, been a stressful few days.

World Market is a great store.

They sell these there:

They are awesome

...  Stranger things have happened.  Is it... like a real mushrooms though?  I think that's the problem I have. D:

I don't care if this was shown because I hate you all (jk)

Figaro Castle a la Minecraft.  Pretty baller.   There's a ton of these massive projects Minecrafters have taken on.  One outstanding one too is the Hogwart's Castle.

One thing that makes me blue: it's alllllll about fucken shooters lately.  I don't mind a good one shooter, but by god, it seems that everyone is riding the Black Ops train right now.

Forget this game and VC3 (and Growlanser, hahahahahaha...oh wait, you were serious...), we might not even get Type-0.  The PSP is officially dead in the west...

Jesus... did 3rd Birthday and the FFIV remake sell that poorly?
Must take a lot to get Squeenix to reconsider a Western release.

My Tactics Ogre artbook finally came in the mail, here are some screenshots courtesy of otaku.com :)

232 pages of awesome, the price was expensive but worth every penny as this will go rare quick!

I found it for $40-something on playasia (but with tax and shipping, I still "paid" for it).  I can't wait.  I love both artists who worked on the game. x)
I actually love otaku[.be].  They've had some pretty good prices and some pretty hard to find items as well.

If Square is mad there wasn't enough JRPGs... then maybe they should've brought some damn JRPGs to show?

Haha, I actually thought the same thing was strange about the article.

I just saw Super 8.

Good movie.  A mix of Goonies and whatever Alien flick, E.T. or whatever alien movie where he kills things.
I was pretty unsatisfied and unfulfilled by the end though.  The build up is great, but really, really winds down super fast and ends abruptly.  I don't understand the alien either (it was mean, it was nice, it was what exactly??) and really could have used more plot to explain itself.  Some characters, the Dad especially, gets built up a heck of a lot as a sort-of sub-plot character only to really fall short of all his efforts.

My opinion is mixed.  One cute thing is during the credits, where we see this "big home movie" that was being filmed throughout most of the flick.  While I loved the era, I loved what was done, the plot suffers a lack of fine-tuning.  Funny, something JJ Abrams did just as poorly with Lost.

Further embarrassing, tragic misconceptions:

When I was 3 or 4 I remember getting a boner and running out to show my parents, thinking I had some amazing ability that only I had.

Now THAT is classic!

I, actually, lol'd. x)
omg, that sounds so... cute?  Cute and funny I think haha

also, where was starmongoose's reaction?

I liked here too.
And Star was the one guy in that vid... nah kidding. :)
I actually kinda wanna see it; seen the rest of em, can't really say "no" and a girlfriend wants me to go when I fake-reacted excited as a twi-tard and she really was.... hah.

Why the fuck am I not watching Angel Cop?  And fuckit, the English Dub will not be better than the original Japanese

Yep, those are the ones. North America is the only place that calls them ladybugs (and some parts of Canada, apparently) :P

Don't get all high and mighty about it neither, because they are neither bugs nor birds :P

I was wondering wth a Ladybird is... sounded like some sort of Disney-bird...
Like this bird to the right, with the thicker eyelashes.

Haha I kinda call that a "kid" age still.  When I see highschoolers, the younger ones totally speak "kid" to me for some reason.
But anyways.

I'm on the boat for driving and directions: I had no idea how adults *at all* knew how to get around places, and I had noo idea what "at the corner of Auburn and Sheridan" meant, or how you memorize locations like that.
