What happened to that rumor where Skies of Arcadia was going up there and why the hell did no one follow it up?? D:

Gamin' Update:  Final Fantasy Theatre Rhythm is absolutely fantastic, and the nostalgia trip has me believe in Square's FF future (idealist?).  I suck at rhythm games, but this is quite a blast.  The OP/ED sequences... are kinda dry, and I question the tracks for the main run (I actually really, really don't like Aeris' theme and One Winged Angel).  And while they're charming SD figures, I hate the rose-cheeks and the sort of dotted-cat-nose part... but the enemies more than make up for it appearance-wise.  Also, some of the translations are pretty dubious (specifically before battle & level up quotes)  So far, real happy. This game can have all my money as far as DLC is concerned (sorry Agent D... I've fallen!).

These "Onii-chans" are always getting laid with their "Onee-sans".

Stuff like this is why anime sucks these days, it harms the lot of it anyways.  I hate that good shows are so few and far between; "moe" has ruined anime.

Moe is pretty insufferable but it's not the only culprit in today's ruined anime. The fact that practically every anime in the last 5 years has to start in a Japanese High School is highly odorous as well.

Naw, that's...always been a thing.  All life and adventures end in Japan when you turn 30.

Our grass is crunchy and yellow... we seriously need some damn rain.

Anyone know the rain dance?

Aw, Dinny... I'm so sorry.  I always love your hardrock aspect of you (loved the quote you put in the woman-rant topic I made too, I forgot to mention it early, but I am here).  I'm sad you're gonna lose a piece of that.  Are you gonna try to find another band?  I mean, it's good and sad for your lead singer.

I'm kinda looking forward to Kokoro Connect.... but I'm worried they won't take their fun idea any further than boob jokes...

On an important/unrelated note: 3RD EVA movie due out THIS November.  WOW.  That was out of no where and quite soon for a flick.  Fucking yay. :)
6442  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Tales of PlayStation(s) revealed on: July 03, 2012, 10:52:55 PM
Even if Xillia is Europe-only at least the PS3 isn't region-coded for PS3 games. I do hope they don't pull a Tales of Destiny and deny us part two of the story in Englsih.
Tales of Destiny 2 had a shitty story anyway.

A bad story does not necessarily a bad game make.
It wasn't terribly great in the gameplay department either, IMO.

The bigger offense here being that we missed on the Destiny remake than the sequel.

Heavy speculation that Tales of Xillia will be announced at the gaming expo going on in Europe -- this is a shot from Hideo baba (the big producer-sama behind the series) having "Milla arrive in Europe"... I just wonder, are they gonna "Xenoblade it" and localize it there too??

That's an Embraer 175... so from a Brazilian company.
Tales of Xillia confirmed for South America!

It also says "Alitalia"...so Italy.

Mind you I'm impressed you know the craft of all things.

I do smoke weed.  And fuck all y'all who say it's for highschoolers, all I have to say to that is "you more than likely drink till drunk-stupid anyways".
Not often, I hope. The lingering smell is as bad as booze stink, and a hundred times more difficult to get rid of. Weed is fine, but the smell is ... Not great.

A few times a week, and only when available.  The smell is awful, but I'd rather a bit stoned than drunk (I dealt with enough bozo's as a waitress).  I never smoke indoors, and usually have whatever refreshers on hand (gum, drink, perfume, air freshners) for whatever smell.  I admire the person who invented the paper-towel-tube with a dryer sheet method of covering up smoke smell... clearly the person who thought of it wasn't under the influence at the time.

Agent D, I'm sorry for the hell you went through, I really hope everything turns out okay. =(
Keep us posted!!

Filling out OSAP (to Americans and other aliens: Ontario Student Assistance Program; i.e.; financial aid)... fucking bitch questions driving me up a goddamn wall -- I hate filing things.

Drawing... A LOT. :)
Boyfriend got me a new tablet (it's not the beloved Intuous, but he said that will come <3), which replaces the other which wasn't really working well anymore.  I got one fan art, one original, and one sprite sheet being worked on to help with childhood friend's game that's coming along quite nicely.
6448  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Confess your deepest and darkest secrets on: July 03, 2012, 10:50:51 AM
The Notebook did make me cry, because it was such a fucking happy ending.  Never Let Me Go did.  The Green Mile did it too.

I gotta watch Braveheart again, last time I saw it was like in '98 (and the one stint where it played at work, for like 6 hours thanks to the amount of commercial they threw in, didn't count).

Not a "dark secret", and I don't think I'm alone, but I still have trouble around my "first crush" (like, that first childhood crush).  I love my current boyfriend, so no issue there, I just mean I seem to stutter and still get embarrassed for some reason.  I think it's also because he is one of the funniest/confident guy I've ever met, so I don't feel like I can ever top it or reach "that" level, even though I'm pretty witty otherwise.  Wtf.

Dark Secrets:

I'd probably slip out an "aww" if Lucca did something adorable in real life.... =/

I think Jackass is Television gold!

I have a "raise-eyebrow"-able sexy fetish.  Yay, niche.

On that, I don't like the thought, nor want, a guy to go down on me.

My absolute favorite video game "item" (i.e.; not game) is one of those cheap box figures of Estelle from Tales of Vesperia (gimme some slack, she looks brilliant compared to the others).  On that note -- I'm in love with the character.

I read a novel that isn't a textbook...very, very rarely. (not that I hate reading, in fact I get caught up in it quite easily -- just I always find so many otherways to fill up the time).

A friend gave me a game to borrow, after not asking for it, I traded it in for store credit (no, it's not LotR War in the North [/inside joke]).

I do smoke weed.  And fuck all y'all who say it's for highschoolers, all I have to say to that is "you more than likely drink till drunk-stupid anyways".

I have a strange ass attraction to J.K. Simmons.  Maybe it's some weird freudian father-vibe I get from him.  But I'll save that for a shrink chair if it comes to it.

Other weird attractions: in Highschool, it wasn't about Brad Pitt, or Johnny Depp... it was Ed Norton <3.

And people complain about the Dead or Alive games. But to be fair, the first DOA is pretty ridiculous with its "breasts physics".

I'm convinced Japan doesn't know how breasts actually move in general.

Phantasy Star Online 2's Breast "Physics" --- sweet Jesus.  Maybe foreign planets have weird gravity, let's just say you need a goddamn girdle.
