6451  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Recently watched Episodes of TELEVISION BOX offerings! on: January 22, 2012, 10:51:55 AM
has anyone watched that show w/ ewan macgreggor (fuck i can't spell) the one where he rides a bike w/ his bud from Scotland down to the southern tip of Africa? I just thought of that show because I find myself to be as handsome as he is.

That is a bold (in bold) statement my friend.  And UNTRUE.

Zipped through BBC's Sherlock.  Awesome, yet short, series.  It makes me hate the UK-style of "less is more", short seasons, but great episodes because I wanted more!! x)  Only issue?  It feels like some of the "modern" bits are forced; use of cell phones and all, and Holmes and Watson having a blog is just cute if kinda odd. :P  Call me girly, but I loved the Irene Adler episode and the quick twist at the end was perfect.  And I love the running-gag that has Holmes and Watson as a couple. xD
Cumberbatch is awesome, and I want his bottom.
Nevertheless, I can't wait for the third season.

Eating passionfruit yogurt. It has real passionfruit pulp + seeds in it. Realizing this might be one of the rare times I've had something passionfruit that wasn't Strawberry Passion Awareness.

I love yogurr.  I'm sad when my favrorite one is sold out...and the fuckers at the grocers changd their daeiry brand.

Went to an Asian restaurant for dinner last night. They have ten levels of spicy. Halfway through dinner some guy gets up and runs to the garbage can and pukes for like five minutes before the staff tells him to use the washroom.

And they gave him a t-shirt for all his embarrassment. My roommate almost asked them if we get free t-shirts for watching some guy puke. :P But because we're terrible people, we were amused...

That sounds awful.  I'd have lostmy apetite... then thrown up.  Thenn someone else wouldg et grossed out. And thrown up too.  A chain reacction!!

Stfu, Canada is awesome.

And Victoria's just a $40 ferry ride away from Seattle, so. :P

Thank you, kyu.

I'm about to get off or work. Yeah I only worked ONE day this week but fuckin'a man. I's a tired!

Bitches be complaining about one shift.  Eat poo, Yoder.

I think I just got a case of dumb after this.

Sooo.... the title is supposed to be ironic, right?
I'm sad good money was used on this video.  I also feel extra need to mourn the loss of Etta James.

Also, Din.  Love how she seems to know the "formula" -- haha it's ballin for an 8 year old. xD

January 26 in Japan, January 27 in Europe, February 2 in Australia and February 7 in North America.

The extremely well-informed. :O

It's bigger than the average page, if that's one way to describe it (ie; bigger than 8.5x11).  And I love it to death, you'd be paying LOTS to get it off my hands. :)
$200+/-  at least. :P

I guess I'll make a list like most of you. Here it is, from best to worst.

XII, IX, VIII, XI, VI, VII, XIII, X, VI, V, IV, X-2, III, I, II.

Yes, that is FFXI as 4th best. It was actually really awesome, from a story/lore point of view, and had some of the most fun and addicting gameplay out of all of them. Also, X-2 has some of the best combat of the series.
How come VI shows up on your list twice?

It's just that damn good...comeon!!

It's more likely he's counting the GBA version separately.

Then where's the other 4 FFIV's?

Andriasang reports the developers WANT you to doubt them.  Consider my tail wagging slightly.

I'm just worried of a "sailor moon"-ing (lol, mooning) where half the episode is recycled transformations/attacks.  I know that'll be tough to avoid, but hopefully it won't look too bad.  Hell, it'd be nice to see a transition from every emotion the girls can pull if you know what I mean.

Story aside, an idea like this must be tough work.

Calgary's better. ;)

But Edmonton has BioWare.

You know you're a geek when... x)
Haha

Something about Alberta being that nice mix of country and suburb-big-city that I loved.  I'm planning on charming the pants off some oil-tycoon over there.  Hopefully he can also buy me a lovely jacket for the -30 winters. :D

Also remember getting horribly drunk over there.  What else do you do in the country?? :D

The only time I'm scared in a game is when there's something chasing you that you have to escape or trap in a certain way, or in certain timed situations.

Oh man I'm the exact same!!

I can't even tell you how much I hated doing this part and this one too.  x(

The former for looking scawy... :(
The latter being a pretty much tight a time limit when I think about it.
6461  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Kingdoms of Amalur on: January 20, 2012, 02:33:31 PM
I started, skipped cutscenes, and my character was headless for about a minute haha
I also made the conscious decision to march around the dungeon-deep topless because it looked more fashionable than that sickly garb before.... *sigh* Maybe I should stop playing video games.

Loved it though, very simple but deep gameplay.  Do want. :D

I just beat Rage and holy hell that has to be one of the most abrupt conclusions to a game. It's basically like when you're writing a big paper and when you finally get to the end you do the ultimate job of half-assing. That's basically what Id did. Such a mixed bag, this game is. Finally a shooter w/ awesome gameplay mechanics and a beautiful world... but a story that ... doesn't exist for the most part. Your involvement is helping random people, basically the 3 leaders of various settlements. Then all of a sudden you're in the resistance and storm the capital city and end game.

It's a fun game, with some decent minigames and cart racing, but I'm glad I got this on the cheap.

Year total so far: alan wake, ico, rage.
