How was Magical Mirror, anyway? I always figured that the relatively easiness of a Kirby game would be well suited to something more exploration oriented.

One of the best ones.  Take the Great Cave from Superstar, all of the classic Kirby abilities, and 9 gigantic levels (it's technically "non-linear" as far as sidescrolling goes, there are several doors per map).

I'm not sure how I feel about letting a girl in on this sort of thing.

Are you okay with wearing a beard?

I have a batman mask but no beard.  Batman is *quite* the man though...no?

Oh my god.
Can I be there just to watch???  I woudn't even find it erotic, just...amazing is some away.

Get well Yodes.

PS: I got this image in my head of StarMOMgoose rubbing down little sick Yoda like in all the ads.  Mongoose is smiling and Yodes feeling a bit better and happy.

So after almost seven years since the game was announced, we learn that the protagonist is not cool.  Meanwhile, there is still no game to show.

Swell.

Muthafuckas EYES change color htough!!!  FKUCING BADASS!!!

Fuck... If my eyes changed color to reflect my emotions, they'd be RED all work long.  No one would buy a warranty unlees I could scare them into it.  ...what color is "love"?  My eyes would change to that color every time this cute dude walks in-- giving it all away.

...my mind's gotten away from me

I was gonna say, FFT and CC mods would really be great for those games.  FFIX was good as is and who cares about FFTA compared to normal-T (unless it nixes the Law system).

I got a paper due.  It's killing me to go to work then do a paper.  FREE TIIIIMMMEEEE is being killed and I have no life.  I'm still a reasonably social person in spite of it; but usually I don't talk about myself.

The challenge wasn't really there.  The game was extremely short (without doing quests, you could probably have it done in one sitting).

Short and easy is basically every Kirby game.

Touche.  But Kirby 3, RtDl, and SSU have really shitty final bosses.  I define them as "fun with the occassional pain in the butt".

Me cosplaying as a fatty at the gym...

Meanest way to describe it. Dx
I really think it is awesome you've been doing so well at the gym though; I always found any sweat of mine as a testament to my woman fitness.  Keep it up, Agent!! You're doing great! :)

I was talking with a bud about growing up, so I made this picture about being "young at heart" and all that shizz (something springing up with a lot of peeps lately, why does this happen?).  Anyways, this is an old one, had a 2011 pic in there but updated it and sharing since I haven't in a while.  Relevant too because my hair is actually short now, half way down the neck.  I am wearing a fake ponytail. :D

Kinda want?  Be a good drawing reference of...y'know...nasty monsters, fleshy things, gigantic Chris muscles, and guns.

Quite frankly, I like their relationship better than most of the other ones on TV.  Them having normal marital problems is better than what it is 90% of the time: some affair shit.  I'm not crazy about the Jim plot either, but I'm glad he's making a good exit with it -- it's something he's wanted to do, and staying at a paper company for over 9 years sounds miserable.

And like I said, they "fully" broke through the wall; the camera crew has interacted with them, but never showed someone on the other side--- thass what I meant. (and when they did, it's this Hunky Lumberjack Ken doll...named BRIAN hehehe).

I'm a big Trek fan in general, and I LIKED the new Star Trek just fine. But it didn't really feel like Star Trek at all, it frankly felt a lot more like Star Wars.

Perfect! :D
6461  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Robotech movie apparently going ahead on: January 25, 2013, 10:14:26 AM
Isn't Ghost in the Shell, Full Metal Panic, Akira, Eva, hell, a bunch of shit already in "talks" (for the last decade) to get a movie?

I think I'm excited for the movie version Ender's Game because it was another one of them sci-fi (albeit American) books that's *finally* getting an adaption after talking about turning into a movie for around the last 15 years or so too.
6462  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Abrams set to direct Star Wars VII on: January 25, 2013, 10:10:35 AM
I've literally never met anyone who didn't like the new Star Trek (I work in the movies section at a library), but I come on here and apparently EVERYONE dislikes it minus like two people...

I thought people liked it as well.

I realize it's not "movie-based" figure, but wasn't Star Trek the most profitable TV-to-Movie adaption (making just less than 300 mil worldwide)?
6463  Media / General Games / Re: Yoshi's Epic Yarn on: January 25, 2013, 09:23:14 AM

Ironically, taking the "suck" out of Kirby meant taking away a pretty major design element for him (I though everything else made the controls iffy; controlling "car" Kirby was messy).  The music sounded like it wanted to lull you to sleep.  The challenge wasn't really there.  The game was extremely short (without doing quests, you could probably have it done in one sitting).

I *do* respect the challenge though.  Even though you couldn't "die" per se,  to actually get "Gold" ranks (or 'S' or whatever) was actually really challenging.

I dunno, otherwise, the game didn't appeal to me.  I like the more faster paced Kirby games.  The game looked brilliant and had a lot of creative ideas, but the gameplay just wasn't as exciting.

The Office:

Say whaaa?  Spoiler tags?!
Quote
So for the first time in 9 years, the Office tries something crazy~!  They show one of the documentary guys!!  OMG killer spoilz.  After what was a really, really sad but touching moment between Pam and Jim, they reveal the boom-mike guy, Brian.  It's a pretty daring move, where after 9 years of what was essentially radio silence, so I'm kinda interested but weirded out that they chose this scene.  It felt kinda hokey given the comedy genre, and not as fulfilling as I thought it would be (maybe because there has been so many crazy events happening over the course of nine years at Dunfer Mifflin they never really bothered interacting with any of them ...but a damsel in distress became a different story). Despite all that, everything leading up to that moment was perfectly touching.  Nevertheless, it does feel somewhat appropriate for a show in its last season.  So congrats!  They finally [fully] broke through that fourth wall!

Eugh, Andy's coming back in an upcoming episode.  While I love Ed Helms enough, his character knows how to be irritating and plays it straight.  I'm not one of those "fan pairing" type of girls; if the show shoves Jim and Pam together as a couple, then I root for it!  But when the show was trying to get us to cheer for Erin and Andy, I couldn't care less.  I like her and that intern better; Andy's just good at being annoying, and having him as Manager early on just cast a dark cloud for me.

Yodes:  Yeah. I wasn't crazy for it when I first watched it, when it was Season 1 of Parks and Rec.  I'm glad to hear it gets better, I'll def give it a shot!!
6465  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on: January 25, 2013, 01:03:53 AM
Except there was no actually limit on the number you could order (not at first, anyway, they added one later on) and the plan was that they would be made to order so it's not like a big order was preventing anyone else from getting one.  More orders would just mean more were made.  Obviously Digital River screwed up and that didn't happen, but I still don't see how that's PlayCanada's fault.  They haven't done anything wrong.

Hm.  Right.  Sloppy Digi River.  =/
