I bought Hybrid Heaven (n64) from a disc replay for $3

Sounds ballin. :O

I have to visit Fan at work... Clearly, not busy and I have a shit load of studying. Being here makes me mad and sad, especially when people buy bad games (not saying that subjectively, people keep pre-ordering Soul Cal V).

Singing to pass time too, unfortunately as well, Moves Like Jagger was on the radio en route and it's been stuck since in my head

Joystiq's review.  A good one too, and I think very important in terms of the "Final Fantasy series" in general.

"Ultimately, if Final Fantasy XIII took the series five steps back, Final Fantasy XIII-2 takes it one hesitant step forward. Features like non-linear dungeons, optional side quests and NPC-populated towns are wonderful and all, but they were RPG staples twenty years ago. While Final Fantasy XIII-2 does quite a bit to fix the mistakes of its predecessor, it does very little to stand out on its own merits. It's enjoyable, but it's also disappointing in many ways. Final Fantasy deserves better."

lol Im off that topic now

Ive heard the other tracks, and they werent memorable. I think it just blew me away how they would even make a song like that for final fantasy. The Leona Lewis thing was bad enough but this is like rubbing salt in the wound.
You'd be surprised how much this OST grows on you -- it's a supremely phenomenal effort.

It's better to hear a lot of OSTs in context, I find.

Something about that bread.

Looks like dice be using pita or naan.

Yoda and Leaky Cauldron smell.

I alternate between ketchup and Frank's as a condiment for eggs.
I used to love cooking eggs in the morning but I eat them all the time after I work out so that has kind of corrupted them as a breakfast item for me.

Kind alike what Mesh said earlier (and in another topic), I can only do eggs with things.  I love "conditional" food though haha.

I was born deaf in one ear, and dumb in one brain.

I'm not looking forward to Mass Effect 3. Why would I?

Skyward Sword -
I got my water dragon scales, visited said water dragon thing, and am now back in the first temple! Why the hell am I spending so much time in areas I've already been in? I don't like this. Well, I DO like opening up new sections and finding new things, but I'd still rather be in a new dungeon.
Also I remain unimpressed by the music in this game. several reviewers touted it's fantastic orchestrated soundtrack, but I'm finding it kind of boring. The dungeon tracks have been ok, but everything else is meh.

My son is now playing Shining Force for the GBA on the DS. Awesome.

I found the event-music out-did anything else.

MasterLL is a good guy.  Probably the only exposure I get on a lot of weird ass games is through his Let's Plays.

MORE than improvement, it's the fact I'm just not IN TO those types of games.  Anime humour is dead to me, and the cutscenes from the first two games made my IQ drop.  If.... IF the gameplay really has improved, then maybe I'll give it another look.  But if the in-game sequences are just as dreadful as before, I'd actually pass.

ep3s1 of Sherlock. Good, loved the Moriarty reveal. Good humor in the show. Terrible part was them walking in a london alleyway and being able to see stars in the sky like they're out in the desert.

30 Rock was amazing.

Parks and Rec also

I wasn't actually too crazy about the Moriarity casting.  Clever, mean, but occasionally too over-the-top when he'd blow up in some outburst. Different at least.

...Christ, is that the female Shepard that won that big vote Bioware put on a few months ago?  Looks hideous.

Anyway, I tend to keep my expectations low when it comes to gaming, so I wouldn't say I'm "anticipating" a whole lot.  Mass Effect 3 and Guild Wars 2 are it as far as RPGs go, and Bioshock Infinite makes a grand total of three. :P

He's actually a really good artist.  I just don't like the particular picture...

First of all lo'ing doesnt add validity to your statements

agarest 2 was good enough and is pretty popular in the states.

Fair enough.  But as a gurrrl, I'm not partial to hokey romances between J-broads.  Ridiculous combat aside, I've also outgrown this kind of shit as well.  Unless you're a big anime fan.... yeah, pass.

Who cares if suikoden is a spinoff..........most games these days are sequels, spinoffs or gaidens. The game appears fantastic.

You do realize alot of the games they did list were such

Sequels and spinoffs are different things, mate.

A new shining srpg is getting alot of people pumped

Where are all these people?  I didn't realize that many vocal fans existed.
I'm sure this is great for importers, but the passed two haven't even gotten a release States-side, have they?

Your right there arent 50..............there might be 60, including titles we no are in dev but havent been announced yet.

Well fuck... Final Fantasy 17 is going to be anticipated too!!! ...one day! :D
Ooo it's there though.

"RPG-developer Tri-ACE's latest game sold under 20k units and they're no stranger to the gaming world."

Now your the one being ridiculous, equating sales to quality. It doesnt work like that.

Sales matter when it comes to localization, sir.

As for NIS RPGs, yay we get some slap-stick humour and Harada.
Even a new Neptunia game...  It just doesn't feel like JRPGs (the hardcore, anime, bubbly characters and all that) really try too hard anymore.

I'm worried about Grand Knight History.  XSeed is horrible at marketing their wares, and sometimes it's unfortunate since they put out some amazing stuff.  But given the mass online play support this game asks, and the people left who still play a PSP... I can't see this being a gigantic hit in the US played by the masses.  My faith is going to Vanillaware's Dragon's Crown.
6464  The Rest / The Bazaar / Re: Seller Review thread on: January 27, 2012, 11:05:44 PM
Why would you sell Radiant Historia, Dice?! WHY?!!!

You don't wanna know... Hint hint, I'm not allowed to say it here.
6465  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: 2012 anticipations on: January 27, 2012, 10:47:26 PM
Hell you didnít even mention

Alright.... whattya got...

agarest 2,

gungir, growlanser 4,

I'll give you that...

Spin-off Suikoden?  Spin-offs, not even by necessity for being spin-offs, are usually gonna have a star knocked off right off the bat.  Guaranteed we won't see Yuber once again either.

paper Mario,

LOL!! Literally.. they are pretty funny titles.  THey haven't released much info on this one... hard to anticipate much.

or any number of 50 japanese rpgs coming out in 2012 in all regions on all systems.

Not *that* many.  The site is right though, even if there are a lot of JRPGs, quantity doesn't mean quality.  And quite frankly, I can live and easily ignore the next 10 ports of Disgaea that are probably on the back-burner.  RPG-developer Tri-ACE's latest game sold under 20k units and they're no stranger to the gaming world.
