Trails in the Sky re-established a hope for localizations, and a proper story CAN be found in modern JRPGs.

Radiant Historia made me realize stories in JRPG don't have to be made of cheese.

Assassin's Creed helped me blow of end-semester stress...by making mass-murder fun.

Any PC will run this game Dice. Literally.

Sold!

Alright cobwebs, you're going down.  Gotta boot up the good ol' Windows.

I really wanna play... I may have to wait till I get a new PC because mine's a piece o' crap.  D:
But hot damn to hear it so loved across the board is awesome!

I'm at that age where I hate playing a person in High School...

Say what you will about Harry Potter, but that series rekindled reading and made it a global craze.

While you could argue whether or not HP is actually good, the issue with Twilight is that the relationship it portrays is sort of fucked. HP doesn't have *THAT* issue.

I'd argue Harry Potter is a much more cohesive work, to say the least, in comparison to Twilight as well.
Harry Potter at least tries to tell one hell of a tale of relationships (past and present), histories, magical being and artifacts, and its all jumbled in teenage jinx's and adventure.

Twilight is simply illogical, and made up of magical problems, poorly re-imagined horror-types (vamps and wolfies), and ridiculously fictitious deus ex machinas to save the day.  Quite frankly, some of it is just embarrassing.

"JACOB IMPRINTED and fell in love with a BABY... STOP FIGHTING YO GUYS".

EDIT:  As much as I like the occasional read on CRACKED, their articles talk out of their asses sometimes.  And yeah, I don't think a minotaur rape scene was to be implied given the target audience.  Some authors are fucked up, but I'm giving Rowling the benefit of the doubt... if any... other than in CRACKED's head.

Lovin the Midna avy.  Might change mine to that after you haha

Fashion is pretty important to me.  Unfortunately, I hardly have the funds for the latest, which usually leads me to getting practical clothes that are good for any situation.  Maybe I'd even wear the butt-ugly femme-ponchos if I had the money to be adventurous enough.

I got grounded.... but it never really stuck.  They forbid video games from us (not sure why either, WTH could we have done that was so shitty?) so we played gameboys! =D

How old are you?  This was like... when I was 10 haha

With school, it feels like I'm grounded anyways.

Stop saying ROT.

If you want it we can set something up. I have a feeling you didn't, though. Just trolling.

You made a post about me and my deuce, I feel entitled.
I still wished you luck in the end anyhow.  I'd probably snag it if I needed a television.

Given the cavalcade of crap so far, Gravity Daze looks aiight. I'm actually extremely curious how FFX HD will turn out. I trust Squeenix graphically (if nothing else).

Damn, I want Yukari.

IIRIC, she was a Lovers (AWW) tarot, and they still need that... dunno how much of the tarot deck they're trying to fill out.

I still can't believe how good it looks.

Makes you "lol" at Japanese efforts.  Seriously looks like two different systems.

Depends. Are you 14?

(You might, however, end up watching them for the lulz. That's what people I know apparently do.)

PFFT.  That's what they SAY, I'm sure... guaranteed, they wanna know the story.

Had to watch it with little cousin once... hot fuck those movie were scripted in cheese.

I'm worried... if I start girly-girling it up, am I going to be attracted to... the Twilight movies...??!!?
6495  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Ninokuni (Ghibli + Level 5 RPG) going PS3 on: November 23, 2011, 12:37:19 PM
Very disappointing sales in Japan, let's hope it at least has some legs...

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch # <RPG> (Level 5) {2011.11.17} (8.800) - 67.032 / NEW

The DS's version was slow to start too IIRC.

Weird.  I thought Ghibli had the midas touch ($$) over there.
